Really lovely facilities and it’s nice being able to cold dip in the lake. 4 stars because they sadly don’t offer NHS discount like most saunas do.

We no longer offer our Blue Light discounts due to a technical issue that. caused significant losses. We hope to resolve this and reintroduce the discount with an update to our booking system.

Great place to swim all year round but especially winter. Warm changing facilities with space heater belting out heat. Staff are lovely, knowledgeable, friendly and experienced with safety. Sauna is fantastic too.

I attend an event at the water park in the function room/summer cafe. The food that was provided was amazing and really delicious. All the staff were polite and friendly. The bar was well stocked and the venue was clean and well presented with views overlooking the lake, which is ever-changing I definitely will be coming back to use the sauna, as it's looks very unique

I booked a SUP lesson for my daughter, sister and I for today. If I'm honest I think all of us had second thoughts and were so nervous. We popped our mum in the cafe overlooking the lake, perfect for her taking photos of us on and off the board. It was quite a breezy day so we hired wetsuits. We were introduced to Cam who would be our instructor. What a lovely, friendly guy. His instructions were clear and once on the lake continued with instructions and tips. Turns out we both play rugby for Bristol based teams. Because of the wind we headed to the opposite side of the lake. Cam asked if we wanted to know how to stand up as we had been on our knees up to this point. I bit the bullet and had a go. Success with jelly legs! So chuffed. After our lesson we returned to the lake to put what we had learnt into practice. Both my daughter and sister stood up! Success all round. My daughter aided a girl back onto her kayak and I helped a young boy back on his board. Not bad for novices. We now all want to buy our own boards. So peaceful and tranquil on the water. The whole experience was 10/10 and we can't wait to return. So glad we didn't back out.

Arrived at the lake and decided to book paddleboarding on the day with my 5 year old, as the girl serving me handed me the receipt she said oh the lake is now closing due to thunder and lightening. I asked if I could have a refund, she apologised and said they don't do refunds but I could book another day. I booked for another day. The day I rebooted for came and unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances (my mum had a heart attack) I was unable to go. There is no contact number to explain, so I sent an email, I wasn't expecting a refund as far as I knew they don't give refunds, but instead asked if I could book for another day. The email reply I received said this was not possible. I have since found out the original day I question where there was thunder and lightening people were told they could recieve refunds if they sent an email. They have taken money and not delivered a service.

Thank you for leaving a review, Clare. We’ve looked into this and can confirm that your comments are not accurate. We’ve repeatedly asked for your booking ID, which you have not been able to provide. For clarity: when a session is cancelled, we always offer either an immediate refund or the option to transfer to another session. We would never sell tickets at reception if there was a chance a session might be cancelled.

As someone who has visited us before, you’ll know that we always stress the importance of booking before travelling. This is because the UK weather can be unpredictable and, on rare occasions, sessions may need to be delayed or cancelled. We make this clear to ensure our guests avoid unnecessary journeys.

We were on a family day out, our eldest daughter has epilepsy, we pre warned the lifeguards of this however didn't expect it to be a problem, she had a seizure on the aqua park within the first half hour, her father saw her going into it and was rite next to her so was able to make her safe along with the lifeguards who wer immediately responsive and professional demonstrating individual and collective skills in safety for all, speed in action and maintaining dignity. We would like to extend our gratitude to these members of staff and thank all who were enjoying the inflatable in halting while our daughter was made safe.xxxxx

Really lovely staff but at £24 for 45 mins it's really overpriced, course is quite small, water quality questionable.
