Wow! What a great place!! Spent some time in Playa Negra for a women's retreat. It was my first time in Costa Rica and had a terrific semi guided experience. The zip line and stand up paddle boarding were my favorite, but you can't beat yoga in paradise either! Thanks for organizing a great time! Would definitely stay at the house again; loved the back patio pool area. What a relaxing environment! Didn't have to worry about anything; it was clean, safe, secluded and so close to the beach!
I had the best time at the Wave House in Playa Negra! I came down from the U.S. for a women’s retreat where we did yoga, surfing, SUP, as well as a ton of other activities (catamaran, ziplining, boogie boarding, horseback riding). What an amazing adventure! The Wave House was the perfect home for us while we were here. The layout of the house was just what we needed, large bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and enough privacy for everyone. The house is so clean, comfortable, and secure. And the backyard pool was the absolute best! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a retreat or vacation.
You have to stay here!! This place was an amazing experience all around. I came here for a yoga and surfing retreat with women and we all left with huge smiles on our faces. This house is large and everyone had their own space. I loved how modern yet cozy the Wave House was. I felt very safe staying here and just a 2 minute walk to the beach. It was an easy drive to go into Tamarindo if we wanted as well. I’ll be telling everyone who is traveling to Costa Rica to stay here.
Stayed at the Wave House with my family of 10 over Thanksgiving break. There was plenty of room for everyone and even had an extra bedroom! Weather was perfect! Kids had so much fun swimming in the sparkling pool and walking to the beach everyday to boogie board. Loved the restaurants within short distance, some of the best, fresh cooked meals I’ve had though kitchen was well equipped for cooking in! Kids loved how the Pastry truck came to the house with fresh baked donuts & pastries for breakfast! I hope to return to the Wave House for another vacation soon!
The Wave House is fantastic. It is very spacious & had more than enough space to spread multiple families out and still be super comfortable. It's clean, well maintained, decorated nicely and beautifully landscaped. Just a short (3 minute?) walk to the beach (which was stunning!) and a quick drive to anything you need in Playa Negra. Great pool, comfortable outdoor patio and lounge area. I would recommend this house to anyone. You can't go wrong in Playa Negra with the Wave House.
