"Exceptional Product and Outstanding Customer Service!
I purchased this countertop water filter after extensive research, and I found that Waterdrop is one of the best filter manufacturers out there. Beyond the product's exceptional quality, I was blown away by their phenomenal customer service. I recently had one of the best experiences with their email support team, and their professionalism and efficiency truly impressed me. Waterdrop has earned a lifelong customer—highly recommended!
Stopped working after 45 days
These worked well for a brief time as a replacement for my Berkey filters. When filtration slowed and finally stopped, I cleaned and primed the filters several times, to no avail.WARNING: There is no customer service available for help. NONE
Nice product
Updating my review after finding that the priming gasket fits much better on my bathroom sink. That said, they should probably look at updating this at some point since modern faucets tend to have a wider aperture. Otherwise, no complaints. Great product.
After one week
I found the assembly directions to be comprehensive. Easy to assemble and I’ve been using it for one week. Important to flush the filters before use per the instructions and I ran several tanks full of water through the system before drinking the water. My wife and I find the water tastes good with no unusual taste from the filters.
Problems with Chronic dehydration
I've purchased two of these. I was very happy that finally I will drink "healthy" water.I love water and was drinking continuously, but kept being thirsty.A month after I developed thick chronic phlegm that could not pin point what caused it. I was having a healthy diet due to the phlegm avoiding things that can cause it or make it worse and went from doctor to doctor trying to figure out and taking lots of diff medications. Finally I requested lab work. The results showed I was very much dehydrated. How can I be. I drink plenty of water and avoid any dehydrating triggers. Then realized the phlegm started a month after I purchased this. A similar situation happened to a family member after purchasing this. My doctor suggested that maybe the filter is filtering the good and the bad and in consequence, causing dehydration. I am not sure how long it is going to take to go back to normal since Ive been using this since April.What is this black and white residue at the bottom of the filter? Is this supposed to be there?
This System Works!!
Was a little skeptical about buying this but decided to give it a try considering we were spending 30 dollars a week on bottle water. After 6 months or so of use i can truly say this filter system has not only saved me money, but given my family better tasting, and safer drinking water. Set up is easy, fill it up once a day and forget it. Could not recommend more.
Water filter problem?
It passed the red dye test but does not filter but half the water that’s in the top of my berkey. I have cleaned the filters and primed them again but no improvement. My berkey filters filtered most of the water so question what’s going on.
Well made
Recieved the system on time and in good condition. Flushing the filters was not a big deal, and putting it together was easy. One of the carbon filter tips did break off in the fluoride filter, but customer service was amazing! Krystal with customer service was very responsive and quickly set up a delivery of replacement filters! Customer service was exceptional! I would recommend this product.
PIECE OF CRAP! Works for maybe 20 gallons
If I could rate this ZERO stars I would. We primed them according to the instructions. After about 20 gallons filtered it now takes 24 hours to filter 1 or 1.5 gallons. Absolute piece of crap. They say these can filter 3,000 gallons each. That's a lie.Do not buy this! Just buy the real thing! I will be asking for a refund.
Higher quality stainless steel container than my Berkey
We bought our 2.25 gallon (Big Berkey) system 10 years ago and we have loved it. However, I always knew that, should we be in an emergency situation, I would need more water filter capacity than what we have. This year, I decided it was time to increase that capacity. Yet, the cost of the Berkeys has more than doubled since our initial purchase.I took a look at Waterdrop, read their reviews and decided to go forward. I do wish that I could have purchased the 3. 25 gallon size, but they don't offer that. To my surprise, the stainless steel container is nicer quality and it is even prettier! The sight view water spigot is also better because of the little red dot that helps you see the water line with more easeWe did not order the one with 4 holes (for the flouride filters) because there has been a pledge that flouride will be removed from our drinking water in the new year.After the 2nd flush of water running through the system, the filters worked great although I have not done the red dye test on them yet. I can always revert back to using the VERY overpriced Berkey filters if I am not pleased with the Waterdrop ones.I am just grateful that I have an alternative that isn't so pricey.I am VERY PLEASED with this product.
Failing after only 4 months
Bought these to replace our Berkey filters. We filter 2 gallons a day of city tap water. After less than 4 months, the time it takes to filter is roughly half a day.
Fits nice onto my kitchen island counter.
Quality seems good.So far no leaks..I got this specifically for my rainwater ...as an extra precaution to remove any pollutants.
Musty smelling and tasting Water. UPDATE:Great Customer Service.
I had to stop use in under 30 days because water had a musty taste and smell. I tried cleaning the container and priming the filters. But I realized that the glass spigot itself was the thing that smelled moldy/musty and nothing I tired fixed this issue. Wish I could return it.UPDATE: I called Waterdrop directly and they had great customer service. They are sending me a replacement spigot and replacement filter.
Better safe than sorry
I bought this after being hit by Helene's aftermath. We lost all power for 6 days. No cell or internet sevice for, four of those days. Though we were prepared and had plenty of food and water stored away. I feel like one more safeguard couldn't hurt. This water filter is compact so it is easy to store and seems to be very well made.
