Upside is complete Sh** scammy as all get out. Got a link that said refer a friend get $20 plus commission like 1 cent for every gallon my friend buys they download and use my referral link not even two days later the $20 refferall link disappeared and now it just says 15 cents on my next offer and 1 cent for every gallon if I wouldve known they would stand on their word I wouldve screenshotted the advertisement and sue on this collectible a** company. I will be posting real reviews about this stupid company across all platforms and paying to advertise them as well to make sure people dont use this disgusting app they claim to do this and that but when it comes down to it they dont. I had an offer for .30 cents per gallon after I uploaded the receipt they only gave me .14 cents per gallon I do not care for a response from them I do not care to resolve this issue Ive seen this companies true colors and refuse any apology or make up they could ever offer. UPSIDE is unfortunately, a scam. Looking over each complaint, UPSIDE responses and customer grievances, one thing becomes evident. UPSIDE, plays fast and loose with facts. Offers made by UPSIDE, come with cabinets which are never made known while the solicitation within the app is made to the user. For example. One offer stated, "Share the app with a friend and receive a one time 20 credit, and .01 cent off of the user's future gas ourchases". No caveat, straight forward. However, this isn't the case. First, the user who is using your code must, spend 10. The user must have already received their own cash back, from the offer. There is a specified time period where the bar is always moved, to assure you'll never see the 20. There is also a maximum cash back threshold, not just per each offer, but overall, accross all of your purchases. Whike it is 10 on any one offer, it is 25 accross all offers collectively. You'd never know this until you awaiting the cash back promise, which never comes. This entire app is hacked with false, deceptive and fraudulent advertising and offers. The answers from customer ******************** are as convoluted as any response I've ever read. These are the things which class actions are made of. These actions will involve state attorneys general, the **** and individuals injured by the fraud. I'm not attorney, how's, I have achieved both a *** in business and a Master of Laws (Master) just short of JD as a legal analyst and made a career as a Private Investigator. I suspect that untold millions of losses, perhaps even criminal, are at stake. Again, I suspect the public will soon see a backlash and the company (UPSIDE) will be held accountable. The BBB will tell you, if an entity is a paying member of BBB, no matter how many reviews or complaints, the rating will never be downgraded, its a red *******. Consumers assume that the BBB has some kind of regulatory clout. This is not the case, it is driven by profit to justify its own existence.

Scammed me. I had a balance of $50.77. Suddenly dropped to just .77. I emailed for help and was told I cashed out for a 50 dollar gift card to ********** I did not and would not. They claim someone must have gotten ahold of my cell and did this. Ridiculous. Someone hacked my phone just to mess with my upside gas app?? They just took my money. I went out of my way to buy gas at their partner location, usually Caseys. I will be letting Caseys know also. Avoid upside. Scammers.

This company does not always give the amount they advertise. I have had several submissions denied because I did not comply with their requirements. They offer a certain amount of money for regular gas and several stations no longer sell regular; they sell Plus, Super and Premium. I have taken pictures of the pumps to show their agents and they assume that the Plus is a Mid-grade, which sometimes offers a lower amount back. It is extremely difficult to reach a live person and they only offer email, no live discussions, **** *.

The app does not work I installed it about 2 years ago and after about 5 times of using it, the app or process stop working. Sending me an email saying my money was coming just needed more time (Never came). I deleted the app. Heard the advertisement again in November 2023 and decided to download again. I was able to cash out 20 once. Then in June the app stop working again same emails. Also when the specials for you to earn 25 or 35 cent a gallon during a certain time never work. I have talk to customer service but they are no help. The app would get more hits if they would put more into making the service work better and less into advertisement. Word of mouth would help this app get more customers and participate.

This is an unethical, fraudulent company which does not honor its own cash back promises. They closed my account because they did not like my foul language I used while corresponding with them via email. This was regarding missed cashed back transactions I requested multiple times, I was venting my frustration. So I actually closed the account and requested the $30.00 I had accumulated prior to upside closing my account and they never deposited the $30.00 into my savings account. This is considered theft to me. This was my earned money and they never honored my cash out request. Since they cancelled my account I have no way to contact this fraudulent company, as they do not provide any type of telephone number. I am going to file a complaint with the ***.

Terrible company that never delivers on what they claim. They trick consumers into using their app and getting the benefits on their side but then they never "process" your cash back. The claim is they can't "verify" even though it was purchased through cards directly linked to the app. I would stay as far away as possible and don't waste your time. Also, shortly after I signed up with my account was hacked. I believe they leak your information

I drove 20 minutes to one of the gas stations they had listed to save 82 cent a gallon because my **** discount and their discount. It wouldnt let me upload the receipt when i tried, instead it had me do it as a new claim. But because it did it that way it looked like i claimed the offer after buying gas. Even though the actual offer i was trying to claim showed it was submitted. Fast forward to the 10 days it says i shod have cash back by and i get an error saying the receipt doesnt match what they had. So i send customer support an email. She said she manually approved it. I looked at the cash back amount since its nowhere close to the 82 cents a gallon, they paid me 24 or 25 cents a gallon. If i didnt drive into another city 20 minutes away this wouldnt even matter. Im so frustrated

Well, as far as I'm concerned, you definitely ripped me off. They continued to take the money never notifying me of a problem. After accumulating over 2 years never cashing out they decided to contact me on Aug 12th that they were freezing my account since I violated there terms having 2 emails accounts. I contacted support and they said its closed. Just the time I spent logging into the App to earn a reward was deceitful on there behalf. It's not the money that has me upset, its the scam that they committed. I see I'm not the only one they have scammed money from.

Upside lures you in with a huge bonus on first purchase. Then, they constantly spam with requests to share friends emails. They refused to reimburse me at a restaurant they recommended, because the receipt did not show last four of my credit card. I would have to send them my credit card banking statement to supposedly prove that I had eaten there. But the worst part is on most gas purchases I make $0.20. You need to get to $10 in your account to request a payout on a gift card! So, maybe ten years from now, while they have been monitoring my buying habits all this time, I'll get $10 back.

If I could leave no star I would. Account got locked due to breach of contracts. Accused of having more than one account. I only have one account. No other explanation, proof, or help given. I explained I only had one and the mistake is on their end. They didn't care. I even offered to go out of my way to find a solution but no. Once again they didn't care. I didn't even get the correct cash back but I wasn't going to complain about that. Just as long as I got the money it still was a win. Now I'm going to ****** for gas instead. This was just more convenient but like most scams it's to good to be true.

They do not honor offers. They only give half of what the confirmed claim is. I contacted them about an offer I claimed 12 cents per gal I got 6 gals and they only gave 42 cents credited. When I provided them proof that their math was not adding up. They have 5 cents a total 47 cents which again did not add up. 6 x 12 = 72. I have noticed noww in taking screen shots they have not been crediting the right about for weeks now. scammh company. They so not honor the offers they claim. You're lucky of you get half that. Also if you claim 6 offers in a month the following month you're suppose to get 10 cents plus on offers. That's lie as well. As I have claimed more than 6 offers in a month and have never seen proof of credits for that. Upside customer care tries to gaslight their customers even though they have history in their own app negating what they say. ***************

On or about May 6th, 2024 I downloaded the Upside App and made some purchases using the App. On May 11, 2024 I received and email indicating that the "cash back" was taking longer than normal. After about ten days, I reached out to the company inquiring why I was not receiving any cash back. They indicated that I previously set up an account in 2020 and because of inactivity, I was suspended and ineligible to participate in the App. Through various emails back and forth, I continued to be denied. I even asked for proof for the ************************************************************* this App, and they could not or would not provide that information. Even after their last denial email, I still am receiving emails saying that my "cash back" is taking longer than normal. This company needs to fulfill their obligations as advertised or provide proof that I previously enrolled into their App. And even if I did, why not allow another enrollent?
