I had a very bad experience with ultrasound at this clinic. It was my first and certainly the last time there. I had a late evening appointment and it felt like the sonographer (oriental lady) really wanted to get rid of me quickly to go home. She was rude, not explaining anything, not listening to what I say. She was annoyed I even had any questions. And the report was absolutely useless. I had a rescan at ultrasound direct and it was a completely different experience. This place is slightly cheaper but you end up paying twice to get a normal scan, and a knowledgeable sonographer who cares to explain things well and give a proper report.

I had worrying symptoms and wanted speedy reassurance that everything was alright and if it wasn’t I wanted to know quickly so that I could get treatment started early. I went into the Brentwood clinic feeling very anxious that I may have cancer. Julius was gentle and the internal pelvic ultrasound was not painful or embarrassing. I could see everything on a large TV opposite and I was told immediately that everything was normal and healthy. I’d got a same day appointment, reassurance I am healthy during the scan and images emailed to me within two hours. A very well spent £110 for fast peace of mind and I will definitely come back here in future for future check-ups.

Had a terrible experience at Ultrasound plus Docklands yesterday. I am autistic and booked a gynecological scan for my partner who is also autistic. We were running late for the appointment and I called to let the clinic know. We had paid a deposit and on the phone they said if we were over 10 minutes late we would have to pay the full fee on top of the deposit. We arrived 18 minutes late. I asked the receptionist if they could make an exception to this policy, which I had not seen anywhere when booking, as we did our best to be on time and it seemed like a very unfair policy, which I have never heard of anywhere else. The receptionist said they couldn't do any exceptions and called her manager who did not pick up. I ask the receptionist again, explaining how this was a very important and scary appointment and this was adding unnecessary anxiety to the experience. She said no, and my partner decided to walk out as this made the whole experience overwhelming. While walking to the station the manager called back on my number. She explained again that they could not make exceptions, which sounded pointless as we had already walked out. I told her how unfair we thought this policy was and all she did was repeat that when I called to say we would be late they told me we would lose our deposit and that I agreed, which of course I did not. She used intimidation tactics such as saying "I looked at the security cameras and saw that you arrived 18 minutes late." "I listened to your call and you agreed to the late fee policy." "If you knew that you would be charged extra then why did you rush?". She said that there was another patient after us and that it would be unfair to make them wait, but if we had paid the whole fee again they could have found a spot for us. I said that if they could find space for us if we paid surely they could find space for us without us paying additional fees. We arrived at 19:18 and the next appointment was scheduled at 19:30. On the website it says the scan lasts 20 min. Therefore the next patient would only have had to wait 8 minutes, which does not sound extravagant to me, as in my experience there is always a few minutes wait before an appointment. This is clearly a way for them to make extra money, and it is appalling to exploit people like this when their health is at stake. How could we possibly trust to have such an intimate scan in a hostile and extortionate environment? The staff lacks compassion and I would not recommend trusting them with your health. Editing this as they replied saying that I left a review on the wrong business page. It is a lie. We went to Ultrasound Plus London Docklands on 03/07 at 19:18. The fact that they lied about this only proves how dishonest they are, and how unwilling to listen to criticism and do better.

Attended for a scan almost 3 weeks ago. They were running late which I can understand but after we left we realised we were given someone else’s scan photos. I called them the next day to explain what happened. It then took 2 days to get a call back from the manager apologising and asking me to send proof which I did. They said they would send my own scan photos to me the next day by recorded delivery with a stamped addressed envelope to return the other persons photos. I have only just received my photos with the envelope. By which time I have now already attended for my 12 week NHS scan and have those photos. Completely unacceptable that it was even possible to be given someone else’s photos but then the fact it took over 2 weeks to receive mine is just ridiculous. Of course the main point of the scan is to ensure heartbeat etc but the photos are a big part of that for most people so the fact that I didn’t even get mine until it was ‘too late’ is ridiculous. No other contact from them with an explanation or offer of any type of gesture of goodwill. Even if they did I would never use this clinic again. Who knows if anyone else out there has my original scan photos which also includes personal information.

Very good service. The sonographer was very helpful and patient. The baby was in a tricky position but he was able to take lovely pictures of our baby. Thank you so much!

Update: The manager called and me and she apologised. She was very professional. Then my scan went well (it was my birthday present to me to know my baby is healthy and growing well). The person who did the scan - Filmon - was very professional and pleasant. They even gave me a small baby gift. :)) Old Review: What a RUDE receptionist on the phone. I do a private scan appointment there every month during my pregnancy, and she didn't want to change my time slot for a scan although they had the WHOLE afternoon free on the website for booking. When I asked her to reconsider, she said "Madam, you don't have to be rude". No, YOU are rude. You are a private services provider and I am the client. Provide good services or I'll take my business elsewhere.

As per our booking policy we do require 48 hours to cancel or change an appointments as we still have to pay the Locum for that time slot if it does not get taken between now and tomorrow. However if your time slot got taken then we would be happy to reschedule you, but unfortunately we could not do this until the slot has been taken. We are sorry you felt our staff were rude, we have listened to the call and they were only trying to explain the terms and conditions we have in place and in no way or shape or form came across rude. We are sorry we could not accommodate you.

Extremely disappointed, it was the first and last experience there, couldn’t even finish the service, would rather waste deposit and never come back. The receptionist who working on 25th/June afternoon, this lady was very rude to new patient. We made appointment on 2pm, they contacted to reschedule to 6:30pm because the absence of doctor. When arrived entrance at 6:32pm, waiting for response and called the booking team, it took few minutes around 6:40pm to finally get in to the ground entrance. Then told by the receptionist to wait until next patient because slightly late arrival, we accepted and waiting there. Then new patients kept coming in until 7:05pm, the receptionist let other patients start first, who obviously arrived after. Which was so confusing, so we asked her if can let us know how long we need to wait, she suddenly shouted with louder voice and kept repeating “you’re late”, not even letting us any information but blaming. The store is closing soon so we ask if can be rescheduled to any next day, she refused immediately and told deposit can’t be refund also need us to rebook. Never imagined any service could be worse than this, which we paid for and been treated extremely rude. Will talk the local Trading Standards Office about this.

Second pregnancy that I've been here and have had multiple scans and they've have always been amazing and qeve always had great service here. Nice and calm environment and staff are always polite and courteous. Thankyou.

The appointment was so disappointed and horrible. They aren’t specialist, no gynaecologist no nurses ! If you trust soemone to put the ultrasound into your intimate area, go for it ! When I asked to the woman,that supposed to do my ultrasound scan, if she was a doctor , she start to scream on me as she become nervous…. As she isn’t a doctor or nurse ! Fortunately I register her, as after the receptions and the manager said I was rude cause I shouldn’t ask this…I was rude why ? Cause I asked if she was a doctor ? Really unprofessional.. they also couldn’t refund me all the amount. It’s not about the 130£ it’s principle. Never again! I will also report them. People need to know they aren’t specialist.. is it legal in uk? I will do some research… Be careful , there are lot of fraud .

Poor quality of images during scan and in the keychain. Sonographer also pushed too hard which I felt uncomfortable after the scan.Definitely would not recommend and not gonna book with them again

Very disappointed with their services, avoid at all costs Very disappointed with their service, we were late by 10 minutes due to accident on the way, upon arrival the manager whom should have been kind and understanding instead she was very rude and told us that if you arrive 15 minutes late you have to me extra money I told her to start with it’s not even 15 minutes moreover it was due to excessive traffic as a result of an accident and told her I drove 40 minutes to get here and now it was a choice it whether accept her terms and wrong condition or walkout. So we had no choice but to accept. Then she gone missing had to wait for another 20 minutes and there was still no sign of anyone. The worst experience ever, had to walkout but they took money from my account
