Everything was going fine until my lawyer decided that they were leaving the practice and I have to pay an extra $1500.00. When I have the email stating how much it would cost and for a lawyer that I got switched to who does not answer the phone or stay in contact with the person that’s paying them to do their job would not recommend. Do not waste your money. I actually contacted someone and found out the information where the lawyer I had went to an in a contact and they do a good job and don’t give me B

If you’re looking for a lawyer, your mind is probably racing, you’re under a lot of stress, and terrified of fear of the unknown. These were all me. I was so lucky to find Tully Rinckey. I've been working with Nick Marricco and Sivan Zak for two years now, fighting Liverpool CSD, for their botched implementation of my son's IEP. Sadly, I had to take the district to court twice. Despite the tension, turmoil, emotional and mental stress, Nick and Sivan were always there. They helped us through every step and we won both cases. What was the most frustrating to me, is I am a high school special education teacher and I can /could see through the BS that that the district was pulling. I am thankful that Nick and Sivan were there to fight for us and more importantly, my son. He attends a private school and we are dealing with a different district now. I'm hopeful that things will be better and we won't have to take any more legal action. I do know, however, if I do need to seek legal advise, I will be calling Nick and Sivan.

My daughter was denied speech services from the NYC Department of Education. I called Tully Rinckey PLLC and Nicholas Marricco was assigned to my case. Mr. Marricco and his team amended my complaint to the DOE and represented me during the initial hearing. He or a member of his team always kept me up to date with what was happening regarding my case. The IEP was eventually issued and I did not receive a copy from the DOE. Mr. Marricco ensured I received a copy within 48 hours of knowing that the IEP was finalized. He also reviewed the IEP with me and I was able to close my case with my daughter receiving the services she was entitled to. I would highly recommend Mr. Marricco and this firm to anyone having issues with educational institutions within NYS.
