Regarding Rebooking Open tickets - Ref No 30249802763 Hello Trip.com I am writing to follow up on my request to rebook an open ticket that I previously cancelled on March 8, 2024 (Ref No 30249802763). Over the past Four days, I have contacted customer service on several occasions. While I appreciate the initial assurance that my case was being expedited, I have unfortunately received emails stating that the change request has been cancelled. I am flexible with travel dates and would like to fly from London Gatwick Airport (LGW) to Hyderabad (HYD) between May 5th and May 7th, 2024, returning between June 5th and June 7th, 2024. I am particularly concerned about a previous attempt by a customer service representative to change my ticket for a route from London Gatwick to Doha, then Doha back to London Heathrow. This was not the desired route and caused additional confusion. I kindly request your urgent assistance in rebooking my open ticket for the desired travel dates and route mentioned above (LGW to HYD and return). I am available to provide any further information needed to facilitate this process. I trust that you will be able to resolve this matter promptly. In the absence of a positive response within 24Hours, I will be forced to report this issue to the relevant ombudsman. I also started to keep posted in Trustpilot as well and I will Continue to do until I get the response. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt resolution. Many Thanks Dilip Penchala

Bad place to deal with Trip.com and Hilton. Went to my room to this hotel in Port st Lucie, the person next door had the TV very loud at 1:00am and I could not sleep. went downstair attendant called the room, went back up still loud for 15 minutes so I asked for another room, none available so I said sorry I cannot sleep here, rembourse my 2 nights. But no, I reserved with a third party…. third party don’t want to do anything, TRU by Hilton, don’t care so never Hilton again and never trip.com or any third party again. Really you cannot sleep because of a very loud neighbor and they say we don’t care. they prefer lose their name over $200 that’s ok but by me not going to their hotel (Hilton) for the next 20 years they are losing a lot more. and trip.com for maybe what $30 will lose a lot more than that too.

No Appropriate Refund and Customer Support After Flight Cancellation On 21.04.2024 I was about to fly from Riga to Amsterdam. When I tried to check in, there was an error. As the error didnt go away, I contacted the flight company Transavia and Trip.com through which I bought the ticket. The flight has been cancelled. Trip.com failed to notify me. They refunded the amount of the ticket, but didnt pay for the extra costs involved for buying 1 day in advance a new ticket. This is not takein g responsabillity.

NEVER USE TRIP.COM This is the first time I have used trip.com and unless there is some resolution, I will not be using them ever again and advise you to do the same. I used trip.com to book a flight to Sevilla - first off the itinerary that they booked for me had incredibly tight connection times to begin with. My first two flights were both delayed by over 2 hours, which resulted in less than 30 minutes to get from the other side of the airport, through customs, and then through security at Barcelona airport. I unfortunately missed my final connecting flight. After talking to the Vueling ticketing agent, he informed me that because my booking was all done through the agency - it is now the agencies responsibility to rebook me because of the delays. I was now stuck in barcelona at 22:30 with no idea what to do. I called trip.com expecting for some sort of resolution. This is where it quickly went downhill. Did the trip.com help me? No. In fact I was met with hostility by the first manager I talked to. She was severely unhelpful and said there was nothing she could do and my only option was to book a last minute flight for the next day and then tried to hang up on me. This obviously costed me an arm and a leg as well as the missed airbnb at my final destination. Keep note that the manager told me they would be looking into my case and get back to me shortly about a refund. This will pop up again later! So now I’m stuck in barcelona with no place to go and with an agency that refused to help me out. I ended up calling and talking to around 7 different representatives who all would tell me different things and report false information about the airlines when I was standing next to the airlines representative. I finally got ahold of someone to help me get lodging in Barcelona to avoid sleeping on the airport floor. Again I was met with pushback until finally they agreed to give me trip coins to book a hotel through their service. When I looked at what was in my account and the recommended hotel the agent suggested I did not have enough trip coins so I would then be forced to pay with my personal card. I called back to explain this and was told “we are placing your complaint in an emergency notice and you will get a call back in 15-30 minutes.” Do you think that’s what happened? You guessed it, definitely not. I ended up waiting on the airport floor till about 00:30 to get a call back just to be met with more hostility and someone telling me that there’s nothing more they could do. After pushing back on them they begrudgingly added an extra 20€ so I could have a place to lay my head. 2 hours later. Do better. Guess the “emergency notice” doesn’t actually mean anything to them. I thought that was that, but I wake up the next morning to an email that says they reviewed my complaint and did not see any delays so they will not be refunding me. Of course I called and spoke with another representative who then proceeded to tell me my flight was only delayed by 5 minutes… Try over an hour and a half for both flights…. I missed my flight trip.com because of the absurd delays. Why are you so insistent on telling me what I DIRECTLY experienced? Who is the one traveling on these flights? After I walked through the actual data from Flight Radar to the representative, she begrudgingly said she will look into it more. I am now waiting to see what their final resolution is going to be about these flights. At this point so far, it seems they care more about closing cases than about their customers who keep them in business. This has been the WORST travel I have experienced and the WORST travel agency that you can find. I will update this review depending on what the resolution ends up being, but at this point I could not recommend not using trip.com enough. UPDATE Apr. 3: just now got an email from trip.com saying my flight is delayed and I won’t be able to make my connecting flight. Trip.com why did this come 3 days after I was supposed to take off? Update Apr 4: Received a resolution from Joy from customer success team “To address this issue, we have taken immediate steps to enhance our communication protocols and ensure that such incidents are minimized in the future. We are investing in advanced technology and training our staff to improve our ability to provide timely updates and notifications regarding any changes or disruptions to our flights.” This is a cop out and didn’t actually do anything to address my complaints. I called and was able to talk to ANOTHER representative who then told me that her investigation showed I had more than enough time to make my flight and said my flight landed at 19:20 when in reality my plane touched down at 21:18. This company doesn’t actually try to resolve anything and will lie to you to make the problem go away.

NEVER BOOK HOTELS FROM TRIP.COM My recent experience with trip.com has left me feeling regretful. It seems that booking through trip.com carries a significant risk, particularly with upfront payments. When issues arise, the resolution provided often feels insufficient, almost as if the company prioritizes closing cases rather than addressing customer concerns adequately. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson about the nature of booking through trip.com. It seems that the company's emphasis is primarily on financial transactions rather than ensuring customer satisfaction. WARNING : Please proceed with caution when booking hotels through them; if you encounter any issues, don't expect them to resolve it satisfactorily.

Scam don’t even bother to buy from them They sent me an email few hours before my departure saying I can’t take the flight. After almost a week of back and forth with their customer support team, they literally told me they can’t help me and couldn’t even provide any proof of reason why they can’t refund me my ticket. The customer support agent Willow didn’t bother to respond to my email, chatting with her, i well know she didn’t even read my email what so ever. She even hung up on me simply because I was desperate for a solution because I’m stuck in a different country and want a resolution. My flight was $2449 CAD and they said they can ONLY offered me a refund of $40 CAD which is so ridiculous. Without any compensations, now I have to pay for all my extra accommodations I did not plan for and extra $2500 CAD for a one way ticket going home. If you don’t want to lose money or get stuck in somewhere, I highly suggest you book through a different website.

A SCAM OF COMPANY A SCAM of company!!!! Do not use as you ll lose your money if the flight is cancelled. The CEO of the company Jane Sun did not even bother to reply to my emails, so this shows how unprofessional they are. I lost £250 for a flight that was cancelled.

WORSE BOOKING SERVICE THE WORSE BOOKING SERVICE EVER! MISLEADING OFFER. PLEASE DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THEIR OFFER, THERE IS A CATCH. WHEN YOU CHANGE CURRENCY, IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY REBOOKED EVEN THOUGH YOU CANCELLED IT. THEY WON'T EVEN MAKE AN EFFORT TO REIMBURSE OR NEGOTIATE TO KEEP THE CUSTOMER HAPPY. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

Appauling service would not recommend Trip.com. Unfortunately we had not read their bad reviews before we booked with them, but I hope this review can help others not make the same mistake and loose a lot of money to this appauling travel agency. We had booked flights to Nepal but had changed them once due to illness. Trip.com changed these for a high fee but made several errors and never took any responsibility for this. Causing a high level of stress and significant cost to us. They booked us on two separate flights to get to Nepal stopping in India (they called this a soft transit). They did not link the flights, meaning they had seperate PNR numbers. Meaning we then required a specific visa to stay in india which we were not informed about. As we did not have this, we were unable to board the flight in london. Even if we had been able to get on the flight it would never have been possible to make the second flight as trip.com had not left enough time for transit baggage to be sorted. When we rang Trip.com they advised us to buy a new single flight to Nepal and they would refund us, as mistakes had been made with our tickets and they needed to investigate this. When we arrived in Nepal we learnt Trip.com had then cancelled our return flight without our consent or knowledge, leaving us stranded in Nepal. Trip.com then refused to refund us or book new flights. We spent two weeks in limbo in Nepal, emailing daily and got responses to say they would investigate the situation and get back to us with a solution, which they never did. I provided evidence of the mistakes made and confirmation from the airlines of Trip.com errors but never heard back. Stay away from this travel agency! We ended up having to buy all new flights and loosing a lot of money. I would advise never to book with this company. They state they do not have a refund policy and if a flight is cancelled or changed through no fault of your own they will not give you any money back.

Avoid at all cost! It was incredibly frustrating to deal with trip.com. There was a typo of two letters switched around in my name on the booking. I had to call and email several times and every time I spoke to someone they seemed polite and like they wanted to help, but they just gave me the runaround and wanted to charge me ridiculous amounts of money to change the two letters around. They said it wasn't them charging the fees it was the airline, but when I called the airline directly they said they wouldn't charge a fee. When I came back to trip.com with that information, they still wouldn't budge and told me they couldn't change the name on the ticket and since my ticket was non-refundable, I would just have to buy a new ticket with the correct name. I will never use Trip.com again!

Never use it. A bad app They promise something and then you get a cheap, low grade item and service. I bought a Turkish airline ticket but in airport we noticed the the airline is not Turkish airline and it’s something else cheap & old airplane. Be careful please.

Beware of Trip.com: A Warning Against Their Deceptive Practices (Booking ID - 31111581325, 311114677 Beware of Trip.com: A Warning Against Their Deceptive Practices (Booking ID - 31111581325, 31111467789). As a dissatisfied customer of Trip.com, I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience with their service, which ultimately resulted in me feeling scammed and mistreated. I recently booked a return ticket for three passengers through their platform, with the departure scheduled for April 9th and return on April 16th. However, upon receiving the email confirmation, I was shocked to discover that the departure date was listed as April 11th, not the date I had initially selected. Naturally, I attempted to rectify this error by accessing the date change feature within the app. However, what followed was a series of alarming events that left me deeply disillusioned with Trip.com. Upon initiating the date change process, I was blindsided by an abrupt notification indicating that my ticket had been cancelled and that I needed to rebook. This sudden cancellation, apparently due to a glitch in their system, forced me to make another payment within a mere five minutes. It was evident that the fault lay squarely with Trip.com's flawed system, yet they adamantly refused to acknowledge their mistake. Attempting to seek resolution, I navigated the labyrinth of their customer service channels, only to encounter further frustration and disappointment. Getting through to a representative proved to be a Herculean task, and when I finally did, I was met with nothing but hostility and blame-shifting. Instead of displaying any semblance of empathy or accountability, the customer care team callously dismissed my grievances, insisting that I was at fault and therefore ineligible for a refund. This egregious mishandling of the situation is indicative of Trip.com's deceitful practices and utter disregard for customer satisfaction. By charging me twice for a single ticket due to their own system error and then refusing to rectify the situation, they have demonstrated a blatant disregard for ethical business conduct. In light of my harrowing experience, I implore prospective travelers to exercise caution when considering Trip.com for their booking needs. Entrusting them with your hard-earned money is akin to playing a game of Russian roulette with your finances. Their reprehensible treatment of customers, coupled with their refusal to take responsibility for their errors, is nothing short of appalling. As for myself, I am resolved to pursue legal recourse against Trip.com in order to seek redress for the injustices I have endured. It is my sincere hope that by sharing my story, others will be spared from falling victim to their predatory tactics. In conclusion, I urge consumers to heed my warning and boycott Trip.com – a company that prioritizes profit over principles and customer satisfaction.

Beware of Trip.com, a deceitful company Beware of Trip.com, a deceitful company. Dealing with them feels like interacting with a rude and dishonest individual who distorts facts and creates excuses. I've never encountered such an experience before, so I strongly advise against booking with Trip.com. I initially requested two pieces of hand luggage for my flight through the chat on trip.com. However, a representative provided me with a payment link assuming it was for hand luggage. To my surprise, upon reaching the gate, I realized the payment was actually for check-in luggage, despite my explicit request for hand luggage, as stated on both the airline's webpage and trip.com itself. This misunderstanding led to me having to pay an extra 160 euros at the gate. Despite my attempts to communicate the mistake to trip.com through multiple messages, they have been unhelpful and have tried to shift blame onto the airline or the size of my suitcase, which was never the issue they claimed it to be. Trip.com seems fine until you encounter any issues; I will never book with them again.

Would not touch with a barge pole I have purchased transfer flights to Italy for years and never and ever had a bad experience till now. I purchased a flight to Milan Malpensa from Gatwick to transfer to Lamezia from Trip.com, only to learn the transfer flight was actually from Milan Linate, nearly a 100 kilometres away, I had to pay €124 taxi to Linate airport which took an hour because of Trip.coms incompetence. To add insult to injury, Trip.com, after complaining, said they couldn't find any errors on their part and offered me a insulting €24 trip coins as a gesture of good will. I am absolutely disgusted and will never use them again but will not let this go. Shame on you Trip.com.

Booked for Los Angeles, sent us to Ontario This booking service will find any possible way to give you a flight that does not take you where you want to do, just to scrape cheap business from you for what looks like cheaper itinerary flights. We tried to book a flight to LAX. We chose Los Angeles as our destination. Of course this scheming business would send us to Ontario, 2 hours drive from where literally ANY other flight goes into Los Angeles. On top of that, they have absolutely no way of refunding a flight within 24 hours of having booked it, so we just lost 1750 USD to this thieving business. I tried to request a refund within 24 hours and we were stuck waiting for their response. I disputed the charge from my credit card company and of course, since trip.com is a 3rd party, there was nothing that my bank could do about it. Do not use this company. They need to simply fail and let other legitimate business take over their space.

Wosr Agency👎🚫 I booked through Trip.com I am sure this is on the top of being the worst agency. Infact they could win a competition if there was any on ' Worst Agency Ever' Due to glitch in their shitty website that caused issue with my first name on the booking. I double checked everything at the time of booking and everything was fine but then there was a missing name on my booking. Tried to contact them to change this for me , they sent me to airlines to change it. Airlines said it has to be done by travel agency. This issue has given me contiuous mental trauma for more then 15 days and this agency ended up forcing me to cancel my booking and book a new one 1 day before my flight. This minor glitch in their website costed me £450 and I ended up canceling my booking and buying an expensive ticket. Thank you for the life lesson and the first and last worst experience with trip.com. Never going to buy a ticket again with you. I wish you all a quick downfall in your lives and as an agency.
