I drove up from Cork yesterday to look at the TentBox Lite 2.0 and dealt with Scott. From the moment I arrived, he couldn’t have been more helpful, even though the shop was busy.
Scott took the time to go through every model, explained the differences clearly, and his knowledge made the decision really easy. I also needed roof bars, which he had in stock and sorted for me straight away.
I went for a coffee for about 30 minutes and got a call from Scott to say everything was ready to collect. When I came back to load the TentBox into my van, the lads in the warehouse were just as helpful. They took their time explaining the installation, tips, and little things to know about using the TentBox.
Top service all round. I’ll definitely be back. Can’t recommend Scott, Towing Equipment, and the whole team highly enough. 10/10.

I went to them after failing an NCT retest because another garage (Crofton Motors) claimed to have fixed my tow bar electrics but hadn’t even tested the socket properly.
Towing Equipment Ltd stepped in, quickly diagnosed the issue, and sorted it without any fuss.

Called to the shop to view a roof tent. Staff were busy. 5-7 min wait maybe. Spoke with Stuart who was Gave me some prices and brochure. Explained I wanted a tent box for my work van. Called him him a few days later asked him could he maybe look at the price ect. Said he would send me an email and quote. Email received and I replied to him….. but he didn’t even reply to me….. called also.
Rang Buckled Wheel where the sales man went above and beyond. Bought a tent box from them. Roof bars from Malcom’s caravans purely because the staff were far nicer and more helpful.
I was feeling anxious about sourcing very specific roof rails for a time-sensitive project, especially as I was placing the order from the UK to collect upon landing in Dublin and any delay would be costly for the project. Phil went above and beyond—he ensured I had the exact product I needed, ordered it in especially without even asking for a deposit, and had everything ready on good faith. He even assembled it for us. Truly outstanding service—5 stars!
Ordered spares for an attachment on my 4x4, was told originally the lead time was 2-3 weeks. After that time had elapsed I was calling chasing updates constantly and not getting any word back, no calls being returned. Eventually after 3 months I asked for a definitive update by email to which I never received any response. Have since sourced from another supplier.
