Tom is by far the most knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating jeweler I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I have purchased many beautiful and unique pieces created by Tom. So when it came time to pop the big question Tom and I spent many hours designing the perfect, one of a kind engagement ring for my wife. I am constantly amazed at Tom’s depth of knowledge and his willingness to impart that knowledge onto every customer that walks through his door. He is without a doubt the best jeweler in the Midwest, if not the country.

Tom Tivol is THE best custom jeweler in the world! Initially, we had already been to a couple of chain stores that made my fiancé very uncomfortable and didn't seem to really listen to what I was looking for. We decided to give Tom Tivol a try and we're so glad we did! When we stepped in his office there was no trick lighting, no fake fluff or B.S. sales pitch: he took the time to educate both of us about jewelry and explained every step of the process. When I saw my fiancé's shoulders finally relax after our convo with Tom I knew that this was our guy lol. If you want a quality work of art that is reasonably priced then come visit Tom Tivol. I want to share my positive experience with Tom Tivol. I requested him to repair my pearls diamonds earrings. I was not happy with original results and ask him to fix it. He had no problems with my request. Eventually the work has been done to my satisfaction. He was very accommodative and patient working with me. I will strongly recommend him as a jeweler.
I had a family heirloom necklace I wanted to have restored that I took to a number of jewelry stores and nobody would touch it. A friend of mine suggested I have Tom look at it. Not only did Tom give me a thorough analysis of the piece - something I had never received before - but he restored it beautifully. He even went beyond what he said he could do. I was absolutely amazed. Even though the necklace wasn't very valuable he told me it was priceless because it was a representation of my family and based on how he treated it was evident he believes that. I have worked with many jewelers and Tom Tivol is not only clearly an expert at his craft, he is one of the most sincere and thoughtful people I have ever done business with.
It was a true pleasure to work with Tom. He not only returned my father’s Rolex to like new condition, he took the time to make me feel comfortable and listened to/answered all my questions. I have always felt intimidated in jewelry stores. In contrast, Tom made the whole experience enjoyable. His price was very reasonable and I will always recommend him to friends!
Tom's attention to detail and level of service is the definition of the white glove jewelry buying experience we were looking for. Having shopped at other jewelry stores in Kansas City, it was obvious that Tom is focused first and foremost on customer experience. Tom takes the time to give you an education on what you are purchasing. He is a true artist and craftsman and I have never seen anyone take more pride in his craft than him. It is refreshing to work with someone so passionate anout his business. I will be using him exclusively going forward especially for his proficiency in custom peices. Tom designed my engagement ring and both my husband's and my wedding bands. He was very accommodating to a tight timeframe and knowledgeable about his craft. We are very satisfied and would always come back!
