Very good food in a quality setting
There are not places you arrive at to the sound of machine gun fire in the background (its close to an Army range) but this is one of them.
Its a nicely appointed pub/restaurant inside with a sailing theme and has a decently priced menu which is freshly cooked to order. The wine list is good too.
We had a selection of tempura prawns, venison burger and salad all nicely done washed down with some Argentinian chardonnay.
The only gripe is the flat white coffee is a latte, which happens so often in places.
The service warmed up while we were there so overall a very pleasant experience. Our dogs quickly settled here so they clearly liked it!

Fantastic lunch!
Had a wonderful pre-Christmas lunch with a friend. I had the crab mousse which was so smooth and very generous in size! The show stopper was the halibut we both had as a main course- such a generous portion with a beautiful wine sauce and fresh potato gnocchi.
Wonderful food complimented by fab staff made for a superb lunch! Thank you.

Lovely, but too drastic price increases lately
Always one of our favourite pubs, we often travel 45 mins to go here especially, after finding it by joyful surprise a couple of years ago. Great food, lovely atmosphere and a very welcoming team. However, on our most recent visit, we were disappointed to find that the prices have drastically increased. We understand that the industry has been impacted by Covid and businesses need to recoup, but we couldn’t believe that a pub could justify charging £9 for a brownie. We had looked up the menu beforehand, (like many people probably do!) and noted that a burger or fish and chips main was going to cost £14… however, the printed menu in the restaurant has hiked that price up to £16 and £17 respectively. A real shame for customers like us, but we really hope that it will continue to be worth it for some, as the impact will definitely be alienating for others.
The Best Place to have a Birthday Celebration - Ever
What a fantastic find. Brilliant Gastro pub tucked away near Lulworth Cove. Superb service, Brilliant Landlord, Amazing atmosphere, terrific food, fab wine. Just the best evening we could have all wanted! Don't ask any more questions, just go!
Really friendly classic country pub
The pub has had a very restrained make over, so hasn't lost any of the atmosphere. You would have to go a long way to find another example of such a high quality, but lovely country pub.
Always a great selection of local beers and cider + very good pub meals.
Very proud to be dog friendly.

Day out
We called at the Weld Arms in East Lul worth on Wednesday 15th September 2021 on the way to Lulworth Cove. We sat in the beer garden and ordered ploughman's lunch and Venison burger and drinks. Both came quickly and both were absolutely delicious. Thank you to the pub and staff at the Weld Arms. Paul from Barnsley South Yorkshire.

Great food and service
We went here for an evening meal whilst staying in lulworth. From being greeted at the door the service was fantastic, friendly and professional. The menu was good and the drinks range available was brilliant, especially the local gin and ales! Would certainly go back and highly recommend

Our favourite Lulworth Pub!
Having visited last year and had an amazing meal, we brought our family for a meal on our travels to Lulworth. As expected, the food was amazing and the service swift and very friendly. This is a great pub, tucked away from the busy cove, providing a relaxing atmosphere and a great meal. We will back again next year!

Fabulous meal
Gorgeous dinner, attentive staff. We had been for lunch with friends on Sunday and so impressed we decided to go back on a Wednesday night. Again service and food were brilliant. Tonight we had the burger and fish and chips. Both cooked perfectly, if we lived here it would be a regular!!
