Hi Maryon, thank you for the feedback. Whilst I understand that this may of not been an ideal scenario for you on the day I don't believe this warrants a 1 star review. As hospitality businesses across the country struggle, honest and accurate reviews are a lifeblood for pubs and restaurants and to this end we must state that we never have any intention of misleading our customers. Our kitchen hours reflect a break from 3-5pm Mon- Fri and have for many years. I'm sorry you weren't aware of this. Monday to Friday we offer 2 for 1 pizzas from 12-3pm and on Tuesday we run the offer from 12-3pm and from 5-10pm. On the day of your visit we kindly stopped our booking system charging your card for the visit and we even offered to turn the pizza oven on and cook your order ourselves. I really believe we did everything possible to not warrant this review. As feedback is always useful we are going through all our marketing and websites as we speak to ensure that this doesn't happen again. Have a lovely weekend and thank you again, Best, Team Waggon.
