Unfassbare Jungel-Erfahrung mit super Guides Wir haben eine 4 Tage / 3 Nächte Tour im Jungel gemacht und waren absolut begeistert! Unsere Guides Olky und Hendrik waren super! Olky hat uns unfassbar viel über den Jungel und die Tiere erzählt, kannte sich überall sehr gut aus und uns hat es sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Als wir am letzten Tag nochmal mehr wandern wollten, hat er sich eine super Strecke mit Aussichtspunkt überlegt. Hendrik könnte zudem viele Tiere spotten - am beeindruckenden waren die Black Gibbons, die wir von ganz Nahem sehen durften. Den ganzen Tag über wurden wir mit super Essen versorgt - vom Frühstück übers Mittagessen und dem Frucht-Snack bis zum Abendessen. Wir haben seitdem nie leckereres Curry oder Sambal in Indonesien gegessen. Nach den Wanderungen konnten wir jeden Abend im Fluss oder an Wasserfällen schwimmen gehen. Cool war auch das Rafting am Ende! Der Jungel Track war von vorne bis hinten super organisiert und wir können ihn nur allen empfehlen! Danke für diese Erfahrung!

Phenomenal experience- adventure with the Jungle Guide. Our trekking adventure with the ‘Jungle Guide’ between in October this year was an epic 5-day, 4-night journey. I thought it would be the tytical trekking going up and down the hills as any other hinkings we have done. Just physical work, maybe spotting semi wild animals. But I was wrong. First things first, let me tell you about our guides: Wanda, Leng, and Hendry. These guys are the real deal. Their expertise, knowledge, and the extraordinary way they took care of us made the trip unforgettable. They knew the jungle inside out and were always there to share their wisdom. We learned so much about jungle survival – what to munch on, what to avoid, how to build a shelter, tree and animal names, and even how to prep and dry wood for a cozy campfire at night. I just wish we had more time for them to teach us how to cook up those unexpectedly delicious jungle meals! Kuddos to our guides that work to keep the jungle free of any kind of pollution by the way. Wanda's expertise came through in the clutch. Seeing wild orangutans is not easy at all. But we spotted one and we had the chance to observe him for a while. Seeing these creatures in the wild is amazing but we also had a blast watching other critters – stick insects, stunning butterflies, and those magical fireflies at night. We even spotted traces of elephants and deers. The crystal clear rivers and waterfalls are a dream. Bathing in those pristine waters was unbelievable. And going down the river and its rapids the last day of the trip was the icing on the cake. Weather was nice in this time of the year ( October) , with some rain and cool nights in which you really need the sleeping bags provided. In a nutshell, it was a phenomenal experience with the Jungle Guide.

Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis Wir haben als Familien ganz spontan eine 2 Tages Tour gemacht. Trotz der kurzfristigen Entscheidung ca 24 h vorher, hat alles reibungslos geklappt dank der schnellen und unkomplizierten Absprache über WhatsApp mit dem Team in Deutschland und der schnellen Reaktion des Teams in Bukit Lawang. Trotz Bedenken und mehrfacher Verlegung durch gesundheitliche Einschränkung wurden wir umfassend und individuell betreut und hatten ein einmaliges Erlebnis und unvergessliche Eindrücke. Insbesondere wurde unser Tour bereichert durch unseren fantastischen Tourguide Ali, der uns mit seiner langjährigen Erfahrung und Expertise unglaublich viel über den Dschungel beigebracht hat in dieser kurzen Zeit. Auch das Team im Camp war super hilfsbereit und hat uns sehr gut versorgt. Definitiv eine Highlight unserer Indonesien Reise.

Perfect Tour in Bukit Lanag This tour was one of the best experiences I ever had. First of all - communication with Senta via WhatsApp was perfect. We got picked up in Medan, our driver was right on time at the hotel at 6 in the morning. Arriving in Bukit Lawang our guides were super funny, nice and had a lot of knowledge about the local flora and fauna. Straight on the first day we had encounters with orangutan and macaques. During the trip out guides prepared fruit and lunch for us. We spent the evening and night in a jungle camp close to a river, a perfect place to bath after the trekking. A dedicated cook made chicken rendang, soy teriyaki, vegetable curry, mashed potatoe hash browns and krupuk for us - right in the jungle. This was one of the highlights of the tour, because it was one of the best food we had Indonesia. For the night we had sleeping bags and mosquito nets provided in bamboo shelters. It rained through the whole night, and this was such a chilling experience to have in the middle of the jungle. The next day we hiked back through the river and jungle to Bukit Lawang and went for final rafting tour. Overall, I highly recommend doing this tour, I will surely never foregt it.

Recomiendo 100% maravillosa experiéncia Maravillosa experiéncia! Sabía que me gustaría y cojí el tour de 3 dias 2 noches, pero al acabar me quedé con ganas de haber hecho el de 5 días. La selva es preciosa, y pudimos ver 14 orangutanes en total, incluyendo un macho y 5 bebés The jungle Guide me ofrecieron ayuda con el transporte y la acomodación y la atención fué un 10. Nuestro guía Andy, maravilloso, nos cuidó y estuvo atento con nosotros con mil detalles, no puedo estar más agradecida. Y el resto de los compañeros, los otros guías y los chefs nos mimaron con mil detalles y nos hicieron reír mucho con sus historias y buena vibra. Recomendaría 100%

Amazing 10 day trek Amazing trek. 4 friends that went on a 10 day trek. The team was amazing, very nice and very professional. Eddie the guide was amazing, very smart and informative, isap ijup ling and agus were so nice and helpful. (Agus made the best food I ate in Indonesia).

4 days jungle trek We did a four days jungle trek with the best guides Olky and Aseng and Yung Erwin as our cook. The first day we saw 4 Orang-Utans and a baby, it was amazing! Our guides told us a lot about the nature and the animals. Every day we walked around 4-5 hours what also included a lot of breaks for drinking and eating the most delicious fruits of sumatra. After arriving at the camp, we always had the opportunity to refresh in the River or a nearby natural pool or waterfall, it was amazing. Beside the Orang-Utans we saw two types of macaques, white handed gibbons, a scorpion, an owl and thomas leaf monkeys. We had the best time with Olky and Aseng. In the evening we played Games together and did a bonfire on our Last evening. The Food from yung Erwin was everyday very delecious and sometimes made of plants he found on his way through the jungle. We also made Little Orangutan necklaces out of stones. We couldn‘t wish for a better experience than we had. Of our 2 month Trip in Indonesia, the jungle Trip was our favourite experience. The Next time we visit Bukit Lawang, we will do at least 8 days 😄

Unvergessliche Erfahrung! Anfang August 2023 haben wir das Dschungel Trekking für 3 Tage und 2 Nächte mit The Jungle Guide gemacht. Es waren unvergessliche Tage! 😍 Schon im Voraus war die Organisation und Kommunikation mit Sandi und Senta wirklich sehr gut und zuverlässig, sodass alle Fragen geklärt werden konnten. Auch vor Ort und für jeglichen Transport war Sandi immer ansprechbar - Danke! Die drei Tages-Tour werden wir, zwei Familien, in bleibender Erinnerung behalten! Unsere Guides Hendri, Acceng und Imam waren sehr nett, haben sich an unser Tempo angepasst, unsere Fragen beantwortet und uns ihre Liebe für den Leuser Nationalpark gezeigt! Auch für gutes Essen wurde während der Tage immer gesorgt. Das Highlight war für uns die Bewohner des Dschungels aus nächster Nähe bestaunen zu können, aber auch die Rafting Reise zurück nach Bukit Lawang war für unsere Teenager ein tolles Erlebnis. Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert dieses Abenteuer mit The Jungle Guide zu starten - wir würden es immer wieder machen!

3 Tages Trekking Den 3 Tage & 2 Nächte Trip kann ich weiterempfehlen! Es war eine tolle Erfahrung und wir haben sehr viele Tiere gesehen! Mehrere Orang Utans und andere Affenarten, sowie verschiedene Echsen. Unser Guide Keleng und sein Sohn haben uns durch den Dschungel geführt. Sie waren beide sehr hilfsbereit und lustig. Unser Koch Abir war sensationell! Jeden Tag bekochte er uns mit vielem, leckeren Gerichten.

3 Tages Tour im Jungle Die 3 Tägige Tour war eine sehr gute und interessante Erfahrung. Wir haben viele Tiere gesehen und konnten viele Eindrücke aus dem Jungle mitnehmen. Keleng unser Guide war sehr höflich und lustig wir hatten viel Spass. Abir der Koch hat sehr gutes und sehr viel Essen gekocht.

From the organisation before the trek (sandi and santa 🙏) to the trek, the whole team went the extra mile to give us an unforgettable experience. - we saw a lot of wildlife, from wild orang outans to toucans and giant lizards - food was mindblowing delicious - Ari even brought me my ukulele from bukit lawang for the second night so we could all sing around the bondfire - pipit, our guide, even carved us in the wood little orang outan necklaces Trust me, book it with them 😎

ESPECTACULAR Hice el Trekking de 3 días y 2 noches. Y mis única palabra es: ESPECTACULAR Desde el trato de Senta para organizarlo, Sandi para recogerme en la parada de bus y traerme al hotel y ya luego el MEJOR DE TODO HENRY que fué mi guía just WOW. Es una persona que la amas nada más verla, siempre súper alegre, atento a todo lo que necesitas, tiene un ojo para ver los animales salvajes que es increíble... Creo que no existe un mejor guía posible que él, lo echo mucho de menos. Y durante los días en la selva, los campamentos están muy bien equipados, con una persona que nos hacía una comida muy rica todas las noches, y de hecho enfermé un poco y al día siguiente tenía mis vitaminas y mi zumo de naranja que alguien se encargó de traerme del pueblo. Además me talló la cara de un Orangu en una piedra como regalo, y Finalizamos el Trekking con un descenso por el río en una especie de canoa que estuvo muy divertido. Experiencia Única en la naturaleza, tanto por lo Mágica que es Bukit Lawang como por el trato recibido por esta compañía y su equipo de gran calidad humana. TERIMA KASIHHH!!!! 3 day and 2 nights - perfect! I booked a 3 day and 2 nights treck over the homepage of The Jungle Guide. I simply stated my interest over the given e-mail on the page and quickly got an answer from Senta. We talked about everything I wanted to know and she helped a lot to get give me the best experience, before the treck even started! From the pick up at the airport over picking a hotel and renting a bag and shoes (which I definetly can recommend! Maybe pack some thick socks to prevent blisters, but I had no issues at all), she made a very good and professionel impression. I then got picked up at my Hotel in the morning by the Guide Ginta. He was very kind and the longer you went along with him, the more you felt that it was important to him for everybody to have a good trip, see animals they came here for and be safe. I was really happy to have had Ginta as my Guide. We saw lots of monkeys, two Tucans and he told us a lot about the jungle and some history about it and got full service at the camps. The swimming in the River after a day of Trekking was beautful and felt refreshing. Our hikes were really steep but i thought it was perfect. You definetly need some stamina and dont underestimate the Power you need to hike three days in a row but you had a lot of trees, roots and lianes to grab and stabilize yourself, which made it a lot easier. The rafting in the end was a good way to end the Treck and the view in unbelievable. I loved it and felt like I was in Jurassic Park. I wore shorts along the Treck

2 day trek Loved the trip. Excellent communication & organization. Knowledgeable guides. The jungle guide assisted with booking of accomodation and transport to / from Medan. Would absolutely recommend the trip

The most amazing 7 days trekking! ..oh my goodness, where to start from! We did a 7 days trek, and we can easily say it was one of the most awesome, incredible experiences of our life. The team (Pipit, Jop, Nleng and Torrip) took great care of us, they were all so amazing that we became like a big family, they mean way more than “jungle guides” to us! They have a deep knowledge and connection to the jungle, remarkable survival skills, and showed us how to use different plants (for food or medicine), they prepared tea from a special liana, they cooked delicious yummy food (we ate so much delicious dishes, cooked on the fire!), helped us carrying our stuff.. They looked after us in every single detail, always with a big smile on their faces 😊 It was so fascinating to see how they prepared the camp every night (even under the pouring rain, we were always dry in our tents)…and how lovely to have a bath in the river in the evenings! The jungle atmosphere, with its animal sounds and its wilderness, was so magical. After a week in the jungle, we didn’t even want to come back to “the real world”.. We did rafting down the river to come back to Bukit Lawang, and it was super fun! We cannot recommend the Jungle Guide team enough. Thank you to everyone from the bottom of our hearts, also big shout-out to lovely Sandi and Senta that helped us organising everything (from a taxi back and forth to Medan, to renting some backpacks for the trip) and being incredibly helpful ❤️ Wishing you all the best, jungle family 🦧🌴
