Colonic for persistent IBS pain Hi All, I wanted to share my experience about visiting Catherine at the Healthy Gut Clinic. Outstanding Katherine is amazing. Not only did she correctly identify the cause of our health issues (especially my husband’s constant migraines) but she helped us find a solution. She is professional, extremely knowledgeable, approachable, kind and caring. We both feel so much better - migraines and heavy heads have gone, we have both lost some weight, and our gut health has improved considerably. No more bloating or IBS issues. Colonic irrigation I attended the clinic quite sometime ago and am very pleased to have got round to booking another session. From what I can tell the offering here has focused and improved a lot over the years, so excited to be attending again.

Colon hydrotherapy is something I have thought about having for a number of years, yet have found myself holding back for a number of reasons. January arrived and I started the new year deciding to try and be a bit kinder to myself and to start putting myself back on the self care list! I had managed to loose over a stone in weight and ‘dry January’ was my next objective followed by plucking up the courage to have a colon detox at the end of the month. Well I was not disappointed! 😊 Katherine is an absolute delight and someone you can connect with straight away. Her knowledge, questioning, sense of humour and reassurance is on point and talks you through every step of the way. Katherine pre-sent an e-book which details absolutely everything you could want to know about your colon hydrotherapy and left nothing unanswered (even recommending taking fluffy socks - which I did) and communicates with you right up until your appointment. Whilst I was not there for any major bowel issues… I explained to Katherine I was there for an overall detox… a bit of self care, fatigue, stress and overall curiosity! What I had totally overlooked was that your gut health has so many contributing factors to your overall mind and well being and Katherine’s knowledge and therapist approach was so informative it was fascinating. I could have chatted to her for hours. The treatment itself was very comfortable, painless and strangely calming and an overall pleasant experience. It was also a very cleansing experience for both body and mind! I certainly underestimated how lethargic I would feel following this treatment. So I took Katherine’s advice and I went home and slept for 2 hours. I was exhausted and had a slight headache, which is not uncommon. A few days have passed and I wanted to have time to assess my overall experience and general well-being and give a really honest review….. I feel clean, fresh, so much brighter and focused and I’m definitly not holding as much tension as I was. My stools are noticeably better too. However, what has been most apparent is that I’m not waking in the mornings with this ‘extreme dark fatigue’ that was overshadowing me. It has totally lifted and has somewhat taken me back how noticeable this is.. this has been an absolute game changer for me! It feels soo good! If you are contemplating having this treatment, go for it, you will not be disappointed! Katherine thank you so much for making this experience a pleasant one. Keep being you, you are truly amazing and I will definitely be back when in need of a bit or re-tuning!

Gut reset programme changed my life I suffer from Ulcerative Colitis and the gut reset programme took me from a really bad flare up with chronic fatigue to normal bowel movements once every day or 2 and fatigue is gone. I'd been prescribed steroids before which worked for a little while then the flare would come back. I found The Healthy Gut Clinic online and thought I'd get in touch. Katherine really know what she's talking about and makes you feel completely at ease when discussing things that you might be embarrassed about. I couldn't leave the house before for fear of a bout of bloody diarrhoea without being able to get to a toilet but now my life is back to normal, I can take my children swimming again, socialise with friends and go for a walk all without fear. I can honestly say this programme has changed my life.
