I can't say enough wonderful things about The ******** Dog and their exceptional customer service. Recently, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize our beloved dog, ***, due to cancer. During this incredibly difficult time, The ******** Dog went above and beyond to offer us support and kindness.When we reached out to cancel Leo's food subscription, they didn't just process the cancellation. They took the time to reach out to us personally via email to inquire about our reason. Upon learning about Leo's passing, they immediately refunded our order without any hesitation or questions asked. Additionally, they graciously allowed us to keep the food for our other dog, Benjen.But their thoughtfulness didn't stop there. After *** passed, we received a heartfelt sympathy card and a beautiful plant from The ******** Dog, expressing their sincere condolences. They even expressed interest in staying informed about Benjen's well-being, showing that they truly care about their customers and their furry family members.The compassion and empathy demonstrated by The ******** Dog during this difficult time have left a lasting impression on us. Well...my 105lb Rottie, ****** loves his Pork recipe. I do add probiotics to his food and his poops are normal and the only time he has diahhrea or throw up is when my husband gives him cheese after I tell DO NOT GIVE HIM DAIRY. Other wise ****** has never really been sick on the Farmer Dog food. My only complaint is their crazy delivery system. Customer Service ROCKS though. They are very good with CS and I'm grateful for that. I'm very sad to hear about all the problems so many people have re: TFD food for their dogs. ******'s first vet is the one that told me to stay off Beef, Chicken or Turkey. A lot of dogs tend to have allergies to those 3 proteins. she said Pork, Bison or Venison is best but GADS I can only afford the Pork and he's been good. So I would give 5 stars for their food but dropped to 4 only because of their crazy delivery system.

******** Dog is a terrible service. They take no responsibility for their deliveries, force customers to wait for days waiting for the delivery of perishable foods, have no real time system to track orders and when the order is delivered outside of the safe delivery window, they do nothing but blame the delivery service THAT THEY HIRED. They spend millions on ads promoting the health of their food but spend zero dollars on customer service and customer satisfaction. Hate them.

Started using Farmers Dog quite a while ago. We have two Cavalier **** ******* Spaniels, both of which were overweight. With Farmers Dog, they were able to get down to their ideal weight. Our male dog has regained his ability to jump up onto furniture again! Each time we tried to switch back to a healthy dry kibble, they would regain the weight. We have determined that Farmers Dog is what specifically works for their health needs. Thanks!

My dogs lost so much weight in this food I had to cancel it! My description of my dogs was that they were at their ideal weight, I never intended for them to lose weight. I do not trust the company or that they are 100% of the nutritional value from my experience. They have perfect reviews everywhere, but now that I am trying to leave a real review it is impossible! Do not trust this company

We have tried the farmers dog diet on our 11 1/2 year old yellow lab female. The chicken and beef seemed to digest fine but started noticing soon after she would throw up during the middle of the night every night after a few days of eating. Then Came diarrhea and no appetite. When we got on the turkey food she ate a few meals but would leave some in the bowl. That never happened in 11 1/2 years. A couple days later she would not touch the food and was throwing up bile, bad diarrhea and extremely lethargic. All she would do is stand and shake and not walk. Brought to vet and was told she has pancreatitis and to stop feeding this food to her as it has been known to cause severe pain for some dogs. I wouldnt recommend this diet at least for older dogs. Now that she has been off the farmers dog for a week she is MUCH better and her appetite and lethargy has gone away.

FALSE ADVERTISING! They advertise 100% off first box for Black Friday. They realized they were losing money from the deal so they started deleting accounts. They email me back asking for my information again. Then they LIED, said my info doesn’t match what I had, and said they can’t give me the deal. But if I could prove the information was correct, then I can get only 50% off! SCAM! DISLOYAL! FALSE ADVERTISING! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LIAR COMPANY!

My dog tried 3 other fresh foods subscription companies (*****, JustFoodForDogs, APupAbove) and Farmers Dog is the only brand that she would eat. Shes a picky eater and it says a lot that she loves Farmers Dog (out of all the other options). The pricing is pretty clear for the per meal amount and its really dependent on size and appetite of dog. My dog is tiny so she eats very little and one order lasts a long time which is reasonable and worth it for our family. We figured out her average amount per feeding and it was seamless delivery every time. Weve put her on this food until the very end. After her passing, Farmers Dog refunded the money for the food we had left and suggested donating the remaining unopened food packs to the local shelter (providing contact info for the shelter to reach out for feeding instructions or questions). I appreciated that they were very understanding and promptly gave me a partial refund. But that wasnt where things ended, they even sent me a very heartwarming and comforting message of condolence which was so kind. And furthermore they went a step above and beyond, I was surprised and touched to receive flowers (a live Calathea plant to be specific) about a week later! I was so touched and thoroughly impressed. I cant sing enough praises and I cant believe a company would go out of its way to do that. Thats next level kindness from a company and shows that they do genuinely care about people. It has been so hard losing my senior dog and Farmers Dog showed up with love. For that, Im so grateful and will always be a fan. On all fronts, this is an amazing company (food quality and customer service) and I wish them success for years to come. I hope they continue to have this level of heart and connection to people. Its so heartwarming and in this day and age (with corporate coldness), what a rare gem.

Worst website and they are VERY unclear about the pricing. There is a $40 or so charge for what they say is a two week trial and then a 22 day supply comes and so on. The $40 charge was fine with me until I was charged $120 something. Thats nonsense. For what they charge I can go to the grocery store and get real food and make it for my dog. The prices are ridiculously high. If they were clear about the pricing upfront maybe I would have kept my order instead of cancelling it. Who knows if this food is any better than what you buy at the grocery store? You dont know. Im not going to commit to an overpriced plan if Im not sure if my dog will even eat this food. My problem is that they play games with the pricing. Just be upfront about, especially before I answer all of the dopey questions. These questions made me feel like I was doing homework for a second grade student. Does this company think everyone is an idiot ? Its dog food - make it simple to know what the charges are. F this company and their overpriced scam pricing nonsense. Its dog food - get over how great you think it is; Im sure its not.

My dog ******** is approximately 10 years old, he was sluggish, didn't have a lot of life in him just sat around until I got Farmer's Dog . I never thought I would be writing about this like I am. Since I have been feeding him for approximately five months he has completely turned around. He lost all the weight that his veterinarian hoped he could lose. We bought all of the best store bought products but nothing did what this has done. He went from being a dog that just laid around to a dog that has an amazing amount of energy, loves this food and seems so much younger. I did think that this food might be more expensive. However once I calculated all of the kibble, and toppers that I was buying to have him actually eat the meal I realized that Farmer's Dog was is so amazing!

Loved getting our Farmers Fresh Dog Food! My dogs love it! They lick their bowls across the floor and dont look up until their food is completely gone. Theyve had more energy and love feeding time. I also love getting their food delivered and not worrying about having to constantly run to the store. *** customer service has been super responsive and helpful anytime I have questions. Its a great business model. I highly recommend them. -****** *.

Farmers dog is very expensive. I joined to help my Aussie, ****** lose weight. Hes very food driven. I discussed this in detail to the *** of FD to improve ******s weight issue. FD has excellent customer service. We were on it close to 6 months, I guess. ****** loved the food at first. I received 3 food options: chicken, turkey, and beef. But at the end, ****** hated the turkey and wouldnt touch it. Picked at the chken, and loved the beef. So I canceled. Not to mention the price. It was excessive to me. But the main reason I quit it was tht ****** had gotten so much fatter on this diet. His mobility was affected; he could hardly get up, and would scoot around on his ****. ****** is a bigger Aussie, age 6 yrs, and now he is even bigger. He became very lethargic, no energy. Slept all the time while on Farmers dog. They did mention changing his diet when I complained, but like I said it wasnt worth it, he was not the same. Once I stopped it, and Im glad I did, within days, he was moving around again. Much more mobile. More alert, more like himself. Tht was surprising to me. I recognized it within a couple of days and my 21 yo son did too. I read others *** said their dogs became lethargic too and thought tht was odd. But it was true for ******. I love this dog so much. Im not saying Farmers dog is bad, but it did affect ******. **************** was great. I simply canceled through a text. And Im glad to see ****** bouncing back. Maybe it was too high calorie. I dont know, but he was not responding well on this diet. This is not so much a complaint but an awareness.

I love the dog, Farmers Dog dog food . my dogs, love it even my cats try to eat it. All three of my dogs are Rescued older and handicapped Dogs.. they are very healthy. Theyve lost all that excess fat that older dogs get they are alert and most of all they are really healthy. I love the companies practices. They notify you if a shipment is going to be delayed because of wildfires and hurricanes and tell you how to make, the formula. No hidden secrets. I love it because it gets delivered right to my door. And I no longer have to make their dog food. I was very worried about one of my dogs who weighs 89 pounds and is 11 years old and only has three legs. He is agile sees hears and very alert.He is in better shape than what he has ever been in since feeding him the Farmers Dog. He is agile sees hears and very alert.

Extremely happy to see my baby boy Broly eat as soon as I get his food ready! He is such a picky eater and some days he only eats once a day but ever since we received the farmers dog food he licks the bowl clean and eats twice a day and continues to lick the bowl throughout the day lol.

my terrier rescue is a picky eater and eats TFD along with food I make for him utilizing TFD recipes and their DIY nutrient mix. He consistently finishes every meal. Previously I was giving him well-regarded kibble and could not get him to finish his meals - I tried adding broth and other toppers; he would pick at it and rarely finished a full meal. *** changed this around. I have also found their customer support to be amazing! They answer quickly and you can tell that you are conversing with a human being, not a chatbot or AI. I have found them to be flexible with what Ive needed and have been very happy with their product and their support.
