One of the Directors, Rizwan, was an exceptional person to go for my first pair of proper glasses with, I was sceptical at first but after some initial concerns he booked me in for a second test and gave me time, advice, training on how to get used to them, all of which made me more comformatble and knowledgeable on my purchase. Backed up with excellent customer service with a smile from the lady who was at my second appointment, I left a happy customer. I would strongly recommend visiting this opticians, and don't be afraid to ask questions, especially with Rizwan himself, if you are lucky enough to get him for your test.

I attended the eye clinic first time as I lost my glasses and needed glasses urgently. The optical assistant Maria Ayub gave me 5 star service with choosing my glasses and advising me which would be the best glasses for me ! She was amazing and very polite and helpful!

best eyes clinic I have ever go to.

I am immensely grateful for the exceptional care and attention I received from the Eye Clinic Opticians. It all began with a simple letter reminding me that my eye test was overdue. I booked an appointment, and to my surprise, they squeezed me in the very next day. On the day of the appointment, the customer service was outstanding as usual as me and my family have been patients for years. During my eye-test a very friendly and professional optician called Muqadas was checking the health of my eyes where she saw that my optic nerve was swollen. At first, I was worried but then she kindly reassured me and told me that she will refer me to the Ophamologist which made feel better. The support didn't stop there. Another staff member guided me through selecting a new pair of glasses and advised me to stay attentive to my phone, anticipating a call from the hospital. Remarkably, within less than 2 hours, the hospital reached out for a next-day appointment. During this process I had received a call from The Eye Clinic Opticians checking up on me which showed a level of care that's rare to find these days. As I was at my hospital appointment, I had various scans and pictures taken of my eye, then, the ophthalmologist confirmed with me that my optic nerve was indeed swollen and diagnosed me with papilledema. However, he then sent me to the same day emergency medical care department where I had various CT scans, tests, and a lumbar puncture where they measured my brain pressure (which was up to 30) and took 10ml of liquid out. After this, the consultant diagnosed with IIH (Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertension), a rare brain condition. I was prescribed medication to keep the pressure down and to prevent me from losing my vision. At that moment I was told that if I had waited longer, I could have lost my vision permanently. Therefore, I am, and I will forever be so grateful to Muqadas, if it weren't for her quick thinking and dedication, I might've lost not just my sight, but a piece of my life too. She chased down every lead, ensuring I got the care I needed when I needed it most. I also want to thank Rizwan for also chasing this up and staying updated with my case as well as the whole team for always being so kind and professional.
