In the heart of the village, the pub is great and the rooms are lovely and comfortable. The beer and food are great, especially the breakfast if you're staying over. An all-around nice stay - essential for Doctor Who fans with the Daemons locations just round the corner - or anyone interested in Band of Brothers, as the real soldiers trained in Aldbourne.
Thank you for your very nice comments and yes the village has history and a hart with us in the centre in The Square with good drinks from coffee to fine wines. And the best of real home cooked food not from a microwave

Just went in for a beer as went to pay respect to the 101st American parachute regiment..the Landlord full of excellent information an very welcoming brilliant lovely village will definitely go back soo..

I loved the quiet village life. Very tranquil, I could have stayed another day and night. Alan and staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended

Room was awfully dusty Run down and not a pleasant environment!!!
Breakfast mediocre at best…
we have just come to end of a busy summer season and deep cleans have now been done in all room even behind the wardrobe you photo but we notice you like to make review were ever you stay which is your right
