Lovely food, and amazing service. This is in a really lovely location, but the parking situation wasn't great. There were some spaces, but it looked like people just pulled up anywhere.

Had a lovely two night stay at The Crown- welcoming, friendly staff. Lovely cooked breakfast. Room clean and comfortable. And added bonus to discover the history associated with the pub/b&b and the village. A quintessential English village, highly recommend.

Daleks and Easy Company, what more could you want? Oh, the food was very good too.

We’ve had the pleasure of visiting The Crown Aldbourne twice now, and it’s quickly become one of our favourite spots. Our first visit was an overnight stay with dinner, and we were blown away. The bedrooms are so cosy, charming and really relaxing – a perfect blend of modern comfort and character. Dinner was an absolute treat with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and our whole table (8 of us in total) we're so happy with their choices. We went back last week for lunch, and it was just as fantastic. The food was spot on, with a great menu that has something for everyone. The staff are lovely and make you feel right at home. The pub is in a great village location with lots of history – we loved learning that the Band of Brothers were stationed here during WWII. If you’re looking for a pub with excellent food, cosy rooms, and a bit of history, The Crown Aldbourne is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Very nice, staff very friendly, atmosphere was really good with a very nice dining area. Had fish & chips which was extremely nice with a side of garlic bread which was sadly a bit burnt - but didn't mind too much - lovely location tho!

What a warm and enthusiastic welcome to such a fantastically historical pub which puts so many other pubs to shame. DR. Who, 101st Airborne (Band of Brothers D-Day) and the Hotel Inspector all make up part of the character of the pub and clearly appeals to a wide and varied demographic. The location is in a quintessentially 'English' pub, infront of the village green with a lovely pond. The atmosphere, friendly relaxed and welcoming. Last but by no means least, the food. Simply delicious well HOME cooked food clearly made on site with a great deal of pride by the in house chef and his team. I didnt have the opportunity to try out the accommodation but if its anything like the attention to detail that the rest of the pub lives up o then I wouldnt hesitate in booking a room if I needed one in the future.

Had the most incredible lunch here! There were 7 within our group, we all had different things from the menu and every single person was completely blown away by the food. Every detail is thought of and the service was faultless. Think we may have found a new favourite pub lunch location!

Amazing pub with great food and friendly staff! If you do go, you must try the Truffle Mac and Cheese - absolutely amazing!

Had an excellent meal here, the food was piping hot & cooked to perfection, would return for the cheesecake alone!! Great service from all staff encountered and the prices are very reasonable...
