☺ We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner even let us pick strawberries for free because they were going out of season. The best and sweetest strawberries I've had.
☹ The pool was a bit green so we didn't get to swim 😞

☺ The room was clean but very basic.
☹ The price paid was expensive for the room. The rooms need a lot of maintenance. Our door was broken with the door stopper looking like it was worn out.

☺ The property lacks proper housekeeping and maintenance.
No proper check in/Check out process
The shower in Suite B is not fit to shower in, the towel rail is a blue string attached to screws in the wall.
The Toilets leak
The kitchen -
Gas stove needs to be replaced it is a safety hazard, You switch on one plate and all four light up.
My husband found a bed bug on him my kids slept on their own towels.
I really feel the place needs a deep clean and proper maintenance.
Deborah is the property manager and very accommodating however the property lets her down.

It was okay for one night, but I won't book again unless they look better after their animals.
☺ The view and the setting and the strawberry fields were nice to look at.
The place is very peaceful
Ther was no noise which was good.
☹ As animal lovers we were so sad to see the sheep look dirty and unsheared and it really upset me because I am an animal lover and it makes me so sad to see that people neglect their animals
Because the place is pet friendly, we expected that the farm animals there are taken care of.
The horse looked very lonely. Horses are used to be in a herd or have at least one companion animal as a friend.
We suggest you get a companion for him even if it's just a small Shetland pony.

Hi Ilsa I agree totally with you about the animals. I am the new manager here and I had to wait for this season to be over. I already made an appointment with the sheep shearer as soon as he opened and the sheep have been sheared now. I've also had discussions with the owners about the horse being alone and they have agreed to buy another horse so I've already spoken to someone who will bring us another horse hopefully soon. don't worry I'm an animal lover too I give Limelight 2 carrots and an apple every morning. and visit him during the day when I get a spare moment then I make sure the gate is open at all times so he can roam when he wants. He chooses to go out at night and sleep in the day for some reason. please don't worry I am looking after him and the other animals. Thank you for your concern it's good to know there are good people out there who care about animals. don't worry things are happening from Deborah

☹ The management or staff, couldn't manage guests. Other guests booked and they were too loud, morning,noon and night. Management did nothing about that. Not considering the rest of the guests.
And we asked for Ice that we never got. Even after we were promised a couple of times.

The heat is unbearable wen it's hot. No AC. And a small table fan does no good.
Fridge was a hassle. Was changed twice.
For the price it's really not worth it.
No breakfast included.
