My wife and I found the right caregiver for our family using the Cradle Company. After an extremely challenging pregnancy and birth, we needed extra postpartum support, and the Cradle Company came through for us in a big way. They were compassionate, skilled, and highly professional. I especially recommend sleep coaching for the baby, although it’s really coaching for the parents.

This isn't a review on Brandi, but on the company itself. I booked a home visit for a lactation consultant for my 2.5 week old and the whole time I was led to believe that Brandi would be the one coming (it was even confirmed in the appointment booking and scheduling emails). However, when someone else showed up at my door, I still welcomed her with open arms because I was desperate for an LC. The session went ok, but didn't help resolve any of my issues. And for $300/session and not have the person you booked come was extremely disappointing. Based off of all the previous reviews, Brandi seems great, but just be aware of who is coming for your visit. I also wish that the company was more communicative in who they were sending as the executive assistant later on told me Brandi was out of town.

First I want to thank them for being available on a Sunday. I had a rough night with my newborn and because of my hormones I know now that added to me feeling overwhelmed and could not wait til Monday. Brandi reached out to me right away and we confirmed a time. During her in home visit she helped me get my son to relatch. But more importantly she made me feel relaxed and reassured me that we were doing well. As a new mom who is sleep deprived and with hormones all over the place her approach and gentle touch was appreciated. Over the next few days she also followed up which was nice. She was very supportive and kind.

Our sleep consultation with Brandi changed our lives. I get that this sounds dramatic, but after not sleeping for almost two years, sleeping again was pretty dramatic. While I absolutely support all parents in however they chose to sleep train or not sleep train their babies, I was not personally comfortable doing any sort of Cry-It-Out practice with my son, and Brandi was able to guide us into a healthier sleep situation that suited our lifestyle and parenting styles. She is very knowledgable and was a delight to work with. I have already recommended her services to almost a dozen sleep deprived new parents, as I know they will not be disappointed and will get what they need. Brandi is also a very prominent and positive role model and leader amongst many Mom groups out in L.A, and I feel very ethically sound in supporting her and her business. Can not recommend her enough!

Took a prenatal breast feeding class here. The instructor was Hannah. The structure of the class was informal so there were plenty of opportunities for questions and discussions. As an expectant mommy of twins, she was very knowledgeable and patient about answering specific questions related to twin feeding. If we have trouble we will likely hire one of their consultants to help us with the process. We have great confidence in them.

The Cradle Company saved my sanity. Seriously. Last year, I gave birth to my treasured little baby, who was quite frustrated with breastfeeding. Hannah and the breastfeeding support group provided me with an environment that helped me to persist through that tough transition period... my frustrated baby eventually became a champion at the breast (so much so that she weaned herself off of the bottle)! If you are looking for or even considering lactation support, this is the place to be. In addition to breastfeeding support, I've also been through the childbirth education class. It was well done and not prescriptive... it was truly informative, the way I would expect a childbirth education class to be, and supportive of the diverse birth plans people may have.

The Cradle Company prenatal classes are invaluable. Hannah does an incredible job covering the breadth and depth of material and also creates a very comfortable environment which enables candid and important conversations. My husband and I knew very little about the early signs of labor, the stages of labor, what to expect at the hospital, etc. After every class we left feeling more empowered to make decisions about what we wanted our birth to be like while also recognizing that at the end of the day much is beyond your control. Hannah never preached. She always provided information in an objective fashion. We feel very lucky to have attended these classes and could not recommend them more!

Oh my gosh - I wish I would have hired Brandi sooner for help with our third baby's lack of sleep. I tried and tried for 6 months and finally called Brandi. We met for about 45 min and we texted daily and I did just what she suggested and I went from waking up 5 times per night to just once! And then even her poor napping improved too. It was so worth it! I loved Brandi and her vibe too. So kind and encouraging and reassuring. Just what I needed in the state of sleepless misery I was in. Couldn't be happier about my experience.

I recently went through The Cradle Company to sleep train my daughter. I had the best experience working with Brandi. My little one bed shared pretty much from birth and sleep training thing was incredibly daunting but I knew we were ready. I'm so glad my friend referred me to Brandi. We had a consult with Brandi in which she learned about my husband, myself, our daughter, and our home/sleep/day to day situation. We tailored a sleep plan that worked for us and that we were comfortable with. Once we began, it was a process and not always an easy one. Brandi was always there though, to answer my questions, to give me feedback, and to gently guide us along. My daughter now sleeps through the night, in her crib, as well as naps in her crib. I truly never thought that would happen. Brandi instilled faith in me that I had the tools to help my daughter. She was there to reassure me when I felt I was doing something 'wrong'. She steeled my nerves at 3 am when I wasn't sure how to deal. She played a major part in my daughter's amazing evolution and journey to independence and for that, I will be forever grateful!

I called Brandi, the owner, yesterday about needing a lactation consultant as I was having much challenges with breastfeeding. Brandi had Hannah contact me and we set up an appointment for the next day. Hannah was even willing to come the same evening, but I was too exhausted having just been released from the hospital that day. I had delivered 4 days ago. Here it was the next day out of the hospital, exhausted and overwhelmed with a stranger in my home, but I felt immediately comfortable with Hannah. She was professional, knowledgeable, and had great advice. She explained the process and answered all my questions. You could tell she really cares about infants and wants to genuinely help. After our session, she said we would follow up in 2 days on the phone, which I really appreciated. Although this breastfeeding business takes its toll on you, I feel much better after having met with Hannah.

I had an amazing experience with The Cradle Company in October 2016. I called and scheduled a lactation consultation with Hannah Halliwell. This was my second baby but gave up on breastfeeding with my first after 2 months b/c it was too painful and I was constantly engorged due to overproduction! To make for a better experience this time around I decided to seek out help early on. I was having issues with poor latching and cracked nipples (ouch). I brought my 5 day old with me to the consultation. Hannah was amazing and totally organized in order to make the best of our experience. She assessed my latch, my babies oral cavity, and than helped me latch him on correctly. She also gave me a regimen to help heal my cracked nipples. I followed all her advice and I was completely healed in 4 days. Hannah was relatable and knowledgeable (she's RN)! She cared about my goals for breastfeeding and gave me advice on how to reach those goals. She even followed up and checked in on us to see how we were doing! I am now 10 weeks into exclusively breastfeeding my baby and I have Hannah to thank for helping me get off to a good start! She totally saved my breastfeeding experience! Kudos to Hannah and The Cradle Company!

Brandi and staff are amazing. Brandi's Friday Facebook training/discussion is absolutely helpful. I had trouble with sleep issues with my son. Brandi had some great suggestions. Thank you so much Brandi for such a wonderful training! Besides the many wonderful things that The Cradle Company has to offer, such as classes for infants and toddlers, wonderful, safe products, and amazing advice, they also offer training for childcare professionals. I just found out about the specialized career of being a Newborn Care Specialist two weeks ago. I searched for trainings in the L.A. area and found that The Cradle Company had a training the following weekend. I called and spoke with Hannah who answered all my questions with such professionalism that I was impressed right off the bat. It worked out so well that I could register over the phone on the spot. On Saturday, I was greeted by Yvonne who was so welcoming and friendly. There was an early childhood music class happening when I walked in which was so wonderful to see as someone who used to teach a similar class. It was such a good vibe already. The Newborn Care Specialist Training started at noon which worked out so well for a Saturday. I loved the introductions that we did in a unique way. Brandi, the instructor of the class, is the ultimate professional. She is so knowledgeable and offers an extensive amount of experience. The class flowed smoothly and I learned a great deal. I highly recommend this training with Brandi to enhance your career if you take care of infants. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience! I look forward to more classes with you in the future.
