I was using Terrells and found out my solicitor was a trainee. This is fine but I obviously want the best so I asked if someone would look over the paperwork to make sure it's all good. 6 days later 2 hours before my hearing she has withdrawn herself from the case breaking the solicitors Code Of Conduct.
What a nightmare this firm is. Please avoid, this firm was recommended by Bellway at the time when I was buying my first house as e got a discount. From the get-go this firm has been a pain to deal with. Not replying on time, missing key dates and keeping me in the dark. Thank god for my mortgage consultant who kept in the loop. The never returned my calls or call me back. I got one email back after 2-3 weeks. Now 2 years later I have to sell the house due to family emergency and they are as useless as they were then. I have a restriction linking to someone in channel islands and they completely looked over when acting on my behalf. Now when I'm asking for help to remove this restriction so I call sell my house, they are completely useless. I was told they will remove items from archive, that never happened. Eventually they said you'll have to contact the address on the restriction and now when I ask for key documents their response is "I dont know what that is". Please avoid this firm.
