I booked an in-person appointment with my doctor, who is awesome, but I wanted to change it to the phone call. There is no such option on their site, so I tried to call. Waste of time. Never answered the phone.

What is going on for this world??? I finally found a solid family doctor but now this clinic just DO NOT answer your phone call ???!!! then how can I book appointment? for this year, I have to drive to the clinic to book an appointment only! this is just outrageous Reply to the clinic: my doctor Michael Gosal is not on your website list… UPDATE: now my doctor is bookable online, which helps a lot, the clinic takes fast response to solve the issue but still again the phone is not the best approach to book. thanks

Very terrible service. The front office staff is incompetent and do not know how to do their job. My own care provider has repeatedly needed to fix their mistakes. Once she left they completely bungled the transfer of my family’s care to another provider, leaving us essentially without a family doctor. Terra Nova Medical Clinic should be ashamed.

My biggest concern about this clinic is their front desk staff. Unorganized and incompetent. Whether you are trying to call for an appointment or inquiry or wait for a referral for a specialist which need a doctors approval they do not follow up and u have to call the clinic to remind them constantly . This is the 2 or 3rd time we are waiting for a referral and no response. I read a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review and a response by the Owner mentioning the biggest concern was a small examination room and the AC! Really ?!? There are reviews about patient wait times and the overall negative experience of the clinic . If you have ever gone in for a in person visit you are in and out with the doctor in the examination room that’s excluding the wait time. Who cares about the AC and Ventilation most the appointment now are taking place over the phone since Covid . Take the time please and hire professional front desk office staff to run the clinic efficiently as they are the first and foremost the Patient calls in and sees before consulting with the doctors.

They impose strict late fees to patients yet it’s ok for patients to wait almost an hour for an appointment that has been pre-booked. My son had an appointment and we were running 10 mins late, they said they could not accept it and we have to pay $60 for no show. Fast forward to several of my appointment where doctor is late one time I waited 2 hours for a scheduled teleconsult. They want you to drop whatever you have scheduled and give them your precious time. But God forbid you’re a few mins late they go ballistic on you and charge you.

We called the clinic on behalf of our 94 year mother. They reacted really quickly and got her a prescription for antibiotics to control her infection. Thank you to Jane who answered the phone and dealt with our problem so efficiently. And to Dr Julie Wilson for such prompt attention.

Today, I witnessed an unfortunate incident where a relative of a patient was yelling at the clinic's administrative staff. Obviously, I don’t know the details that led to this woman’s rage, but I would like to commend the staff who remained calm throughout the encounter. It must be challenging for you, being yelled at early in the morning, perhaps with this being your first patient of the day, and who knows how many times more throughout the day or the week. Your patience is remarkable. Just so you know, you are appreciated.

I just read Helen's long post about Terra Nova from only a few appointments 10 years ago. She gets bird brains who think they're doing right. (More like new people who simply want a job in the medical field.) The patient being just extraneous with often no eye contact made. I am also having concerns about medical records which they dont seem able transfer after ive paid them. I have a different situation but can entirely believe what Helen wrote. I have been a patient there almost 8 years who went through a major emergency surgury in 2022. This required more medical correspondence a year ago. I had unsolicited calls that weren't discussed with my Doctor with hard to understand English. I was accused of missing appointments when this entirely was not the case. They had some sort of strange fee system for non medical expense or penalties. That when I got mad at they're false penalties they made go away. Routine items were slowly done and overall not that efficient. It's been a hard time for the Medical system for sure. But with this clinic which I've attempted to leave. I just wanted to write in and say I could entirely believe Helen's post. They're eye was not on the ball ! It may not be hugely better elsewhere. (In the USA if you pay 1000$ a visit maybe). But certainly not a Terra Nova in my experience the last year and a half.

I was suddenly in need of a family doctor for myself and my two adult sons, and was very lucky to be offered the services of a doctor at Terranova Medical Clinic. Dr. Chen (Christina) Wang is extremely professional and thorough and the staff are welcoming and efficient. If you are in need of a family doctor and Terranova Medical Clinic has availability, I highly recommend Dr. Wang!
