Temple Court is a beautiful space. Lively crowd while I had lunch as there was an impromptu wedding reception that walked over from city hall! Food was tasty I had the goat cheese app and a rose. Service is really good. Lovely manager and fantastic servers putting the extra work to help the busy bartender! Very impressed.
If u want to get sick then eat here. The food was terrible. Both me and my girlfriend got sick and had to go to the Urgent Care because of the food here. The food has terrible taste. I had the lamb shoulder and couldn’t even finish it. The menu was overpriced for the bad quality of food it contained. I eat outside all the time and I never had such a bad meal before. Do not ever eat here. Never coming back.
tl;dr - The Wagyu. The cookie. Go. Just go.
Temple Court delivers in a big way. ALMOST all the way through.
We started with the Ricotta Agnolotti, served with morels, ramps and fava beans. It was excellent. Clean, well-constructed, and a strong signal of what the kitchen was capable of. Then came the main event: the American Wagyu Denver Steak with creamed spinach, hen of the woods mushrooms and bordelaise. This is maybe the best steak I've ever had. The quality of the beef is undeniable, but what elevated it was how every single element on the plate worked together. The richness of the creamed spinach, the earthiness of the hen of the woods, the depth of the bordelaise. Everything earned its place and nothing competed. It was a masterclass in how a great steak dish should be built.
One honest note: my partner's Baked Halibut was a real miss. Flat, underwhelming, and genuinely not at the level of the rest of the kitchen. For a restaurant associated with Tom Colicchio, it was a surprising and disappointing low point in an otherwise strong meal. (Also the bread was underwhelming, but perhaps that's just being nit-picky).
But then dessert arrived. The Chocolate Chip Cookie with marshmallow, graham cracker and banana miso ice cream is superlative. That is not a word I use lightly. The dessert alone would have been worth the trip. We are not exaggerating even slightly. Whatever you order, do not leave without it.
We were so impressed with this place. Not always sure what to expect from restaurants connected to hotels, but Temple Court was entirely lovely in all ways. Exceptional atmosphere-just a gorgeous space, and not too loud(which is a real consideration as we get older). The staff was incredibly accommodating-even moving us to a cozier corner table upon request. Our server, Anneli was friendly, knowledgeable, charming, and engaging-helping us choose perfect starters and mains. We also appreciated the somm offering us a chance to sample wines before choosing. The food was phenomenal. We had the halibut and the duck. Both were generous portions, and completely delectable. Thank you, Temple Court for a fantastic first meal kickoff for our friendship reunion weekend!
A truly unforgettable dining experience at Temple Court! From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance was nothing short of magical—elegant, romantic, and beautifully designed with its iconic atrium setting. The service was impeccable, with staff who were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm.
Every dish was a masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was stunning, showcasing incredible attention to detail. You can tell the kitchen takes great pride in every plate that leaves it.
