Fantastic place for family. Loved exploring and hands on experience. Variety of activities and shows for curiosity mind-like. Even enjoyed the exhibit of "poop"

The old exhibits from before the renovation such as the trains, and crazy kitchen are still wonderful. But a lot of the exhibits don’t seem very cohesive. Over 6 years around 2011 Imperial Oil spent $600k sponsoring energy exhibits in this museum and it certainly shows. There is a whole room dedicated to mining and oil. They tell you about how essential and ‘sustainable’ the mining and oil industries are, with language that honestly sounds incredibly propagandized. There is not a mention of the environmental impacts of these practices. They have a tiny display tucked away in the corner about climate change, where they let you know that it’s mostly your personal choices that lead to climate change. Not a lot of current research on it. So dissapointing.

This museum was a great surprise. I took a 5 year old and an 8 year old and they had a great time. There is a Zoom Room for 0-8 years, but it was geared towards the 0-5 group and has a special section for 0-2. The rest of the museum was all kid friendly with a number of interactive displays. The special “Oh Crap” exhibit was a huge hit, especially the fart chairs. If that’s not your type of humour, there’s still lots to learn.

First time back to this museum since they renovated. They have a whole play section for kids, including an area specific for 0-2 year olds (pictured). Good place to go when on parental leave with a crawling baby. They have a nice looking cafe with good sandwiches as well.

Very fun and informative place for adults and kids. we went with our family and all the members had an amazing time. The upside down house is really cool, so are the trains. The wall covered with plates looks so good. We loved the music area and the children's area where they could make trains and play with ball.

Notre visite à été très appréciée ! Le contenue est varié et bien à jours. En prenant bien notre temps et en laissant les enfants apprécier les jeux proposer lors du parcourt, nous avons fait la visite en 3h.
