I wanted to set up an appointment for a new patient I told the rep my insurance and right away she says we need a referral first off you havent even taken my member ID number to even check and 2 NO i do not require a referral I have been too every specialist without any issues WHY because they run my insurance.
I can’t recommend Dr. Caitlin Dietrich enough. After years of struggling with rigid hammertoes that made walking, and even wearing normal shoes, nearly impossible, I decided to have surgery. From the outset, Dr. Dietrich told me she may not be able to save one toe since it was badly deformed. Being the great surgeon she is, Dr. Dietrich saved my one toe. Both toes are now straight, and I’m pain free. I received exceptional care, friendly service and fantastic results at Tri-County Foot and Ankle. Jane Sullivan
My mother had her first visit to Tri-County foot and ankle and we were extremely impressed. The building is beautiful and well appointed. Dr. Rosa was a phenomenal Doctor who explained everything extremely well in a very personal and friendly manner. Her assistant Nurse “D”was also extremely friendly and patient. Mom needed to have her toenails and callous trimmed. They did the best job we have ever seen from any other provider. We give Tri-County an excellent rating and will continue to be a valued customer to them.
It is two fold:
1. You call and do not get an answer and when you do, it is automated answering service asking you for your name and number and they will get back to you. Do not hold your breath, because they do not get back to you.
2. I had an operation on my foot and had a plate installed to keep my big toe straight and the removal of a Bunion. Well long and behold, the big toe is drifting again to the left and has not remained straight.
This has created an issue where the skin on my second toe has developed irritation and skin coming off the second digit and scabbing over. This has been continuing for several months but cannot get someone to answer the phone in order to make an appointment.
SO; at this stage, I have made an appointment with one of their competitors.
I became a patient in August,2025 because of a bad trip on multimodal path. This practice is incredible! From the facility itself to the greeters at reception desk to my doctor, Dr Dietrich and her assistant, Anna and Alysha on one visit, to checkout!! All so kind and caring and super knowledgable! It was a joy to work with them all !! More importantly, they repaired my injury!
Very poor patient service. I had an ingrown toenail and it was very red and swollen and painful. I tried to get an emergency appointment but I had to wait a week to get in. I was a new patient. I am a Florida snowbird and my Ohio medical Insurance doesn’t cover services in Florida so I was a self- pay patient which I was
Ok with. After waiting a week to get in, I finally got in to see a doctor. He said he could take care of my ingrown toenail that was very sore and swollen. My self- pay amount would be $225 and I said that was perfectly fine. It was worth it to me to get my toe taken care of and finally some relief! Then he said he could NOT take care of my toe since I was going back to my home state in 3 days and would not be in Florida for a follow up appointment the following week. He said I should have come in last week and I said I TRIED TO! I said I would follow up with a podiatrist when I got home… but that wasn’t good enough either. Legally I guess he couldnt fix my toe if he couldn’t see me for a follow up in a week. He said to soak it and put Neosporin on it until I could see a podiatrist back home. I said I had been doing that for a week while waiting to see him! So, almost tearful from the lack of help, I left his office. He said to stop at the front desk to check out. So I did. And I got charged $101.63 For NOTHING. I was shocked. But I paid my cash and left. The doctor and this clinic should be ashamed of themselves for charging me that kind of money for doing absolutely nothing. Unbelievable. Will not be going back there EVER again.
I really liked Dr. Johnny.
The place is very nice inside and very efficient. They send you email/texts to remind you of the paperwork/forms they need prior to the visit as a new patient.
They are replacing a supposedly broken, large fish tank for the lobby. (Nice to not see a ton of medication commercials on monitors for product marketing information.)
The place is large and the staff was friendly.
I was advised to get new orthotics, and he recommended an orthotics refurbish firm nearby.
I definitely recommend these folks!!
The doctors are great. The problem is the wait. I’ve had to leave 2 times in the last 2 months. The wait has stretched to 1+ hours. Some of us are older and have back problems.
They make you wait in the lobby for half an hour and then take you to smaller rooms to wait another half hour it really is elderly abuse. If they tell you a certain hour and you get there 15 ahead of time at 1:45 then they should see you by 2:15. Not 3:00.
This how businesses lose clients until it’s too late.
