Er was iets mis gegaan met onze reservering (8 personen) maar toch maakte ze meteen plaats voor ons. Even later belde het restaurant naast hen waar we bleven, terwijl we toch echt een bevestiging van het juiste restaurant hadden gekregen. Het eten was erg lekker, je merkte aan de service dat het restaurant wel vol zat. Duurde gewoon allemaal wat langer, maar was niet vervelend. Wij hadden een heel leuke avond met lekker eten en daar draait het om
Het eten was lekker. Jammer dat ze koriander over het gerecht doen terwijl het er niet bij stond. Bij het naan brood stond het er wel bij zodat ik ook kon vragen of het zonder koriander kon. Nu moest ik het van mijn hoofdgerecht afschrapen of weer wachten. Verder liep er de hele tijd een kat rond. Ikzelf vind dat vies en erg vervelend.
We eat at Taste of India Utrecht at least once a month. Itâs always great and consistent. However, this time we noticed that the portions of butter chicken and lamb korma that we ordered were smaller than in the past. 5 small pieces of meat in each. The portions have definitely shrunk and that left us feeling somewhat disappointed.

This place probably served us the best food weâve had in the entire Netherlands. Itâs a real hidden gem. You could easily miss it when walking along the top of the canal, but itâs absolutely worth going down into the restaurant. It doesnât look very fancy from the outside (in winter) , and thatâs what makes it even more surprising once youâre inside.
I think Iâve found a new favorite.
If youâre reading this review, just go. Donât overthink it. Youâll be talking about it for a long time. I still do little happy dances when I think about the meals I had there.
LOVED IT. super fun atmosphere in the lower level by the canal. Absolutely incredible food and service. We really recommend the menus for 2+ people -- we had the vega one and it was a lovely experience to try so many things!! So much delicious food that I need to lie down. We are super happy, thank you Taste of India!
