Habib was a fabulous waiter, he waited on us hands and foot. The food was delicious. The best Indian iv ever had. Iv been round the world, and this is the most elusive Indian iv eaten. Great fast, service. Will come again. 9.5. Thank you

Azam looked after us and was fantastic, the food is the best we have eaten in Essex, definitely recommend.

Great service from Habib - we first visited on Christmas Day and loved the atmosphere and beautiful food, and have been coming back ever since! Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our evening here, 2 couples out for an early birthday treat. They had a singer that brought atmosphere, the staff are attentive and welcoming. The food was ok but a little pricey for the standard, good enough for another visit another time though.

Restaurant is situated down a country lane in Ongar. Drive carefully as some sharp turnings.
Visited Tanishq for my husband’s special birthday.
Upon approach Tanishq is very inviting and welcoming with a water fall and golf course situated to the right hand side upon entering. Inside the decor is done very tastefully, has elegance and has a very warm setting and is clean. All staff are extremely hospitable and the service was excellent throughout the evening. Only three small suggestions to make as follows:
1. Food served should have been hot and not warm. When bringing food to table I felt the food should have been covered to keep hot.
2. Cappuccino was luke warm & not hot.
3. Starters, main courses & desserts were presented extremely well and very tasteful. I just felt the curry dish I ordered had a little too much sauce for me, but others felt it was absolutely fine for them.
Overall, everything else was fantastic.
Good value for money and would highly recommend to anyone.
Would definitely visit again for sure
