So great experience. Great team, good boat, wonderful spot. Do not hesitate if you want to have amazing experience. Tomas and Candela are very attentive and always looking for a good idea to make the experience more pleasant. We have been lucky to have benefited from the kindness and professionalism of this crew for our first experience in the San Blas.

Neither my husband or myself suffer from a terminal or emotional illness - The owners response could be taken as a gross misunderstanding or diabolical character assassination attempt to white wash the facts implying a “terminal illness” & “delicate emotional state” has distorted the facts What started out with and could have been an amazing five-star experience ended with an opportunistic owner who knowingly double booked our final day and then refused to return the $900 we paid for the said day on the pretense that our flight times changed (By One hour) which thereby entitled them to keeping our monies We had paid $1,200.00 per night, plus $900.00 for a final day of sailing & snorkeling ending at 5:00 PM $900.00 was in actuality a short early morning snorkel, anchored at the end of the airport runway, sitting at the table outside the galley observing the crew clean the entire boat including our suite, unable to participate in any activities including a final shower On our second last day the crew told us they had a last-minute surprise booking - Ownership has responded that there was no last-minute booking, yet they admitted to our agent that they mistakenly double booked our last day. Mistake or whitewash In early afternoon we checked the radar and along with the boats Captain verified that the aircraft had not left Panama City before changing into our swim suits and entering the water, knowing we had a least an hour to cool off in the water, change and still leave the boat for the 5 minuted trip to the landing strip Upon entering the water, the captain on the phone called us back to the boat to tell us the owner had ordered us off the boat to the landing strip where we would wait standing on the grass for the aircrafts late arrival. The last minute guests then promptly arrived not expecting a double booking This explains the owners ordering off the boat to the landing strip ASAP While waiting on the landing strip we could observe on the radar that our aircraft had just taken off from Panama City – We would also take photos of the aircraft landing with the Captain waiting with us as his supplies were on board the aircraft Therefore it is very puzzling for the owners to again indicate that the plane was waiting on the runway when we went for swim and that we had somehow refused to leave the boat. Another misunderstanding by ownership or more white washing This is not Ok with us & a thorough investigation the agent Catamaran San Blas it was also not ok with them and they informed us that they are in the process of removing this owner and their boats from their web site After considerable discussions through our agent the boat owners grudgingly agreed to refund a token $250 and the agent would match that. With bank transfer fees the amount was less than 1/2 the $900 we paid The Catamaran is in top condition, the generator was non-functioning which meant no A/C and 30 plus degree sleepless nights. Thomas’s experience and choice of snorkeling spots was always bang on and suited our experience level The Kuna peoples + the sheer beauty of the San Blas islands is an experience not to be missed The crew did their best on our final day and we fully understand that they were following instructions from the owner to close down the owners cabin and boat for cleaning Neither my husband or myself suffer from a terminal or emotional illness - The owners response could be taken as a gross misunderstanding or diabolical character assassination attempt to white wash the facts implying a “terminal illness” & “delicate emotional state” has distorted the facts What started out with and could have been an amazing five-star experience ended with an opportunistic owner who knowingly double booked our final day and then refused to return the $900 we paid for the said day on the pretense that our flight times changed (By One hour) which thereby entitled them to keeping our monies We had paid $1,200.00 per night, plus $900.00 for a final day of sailing & snorkeling ending at 5:00 PM $900.00 was in actuality a short early morning snorkel, anchored at the end of the airport runway, sitting at the table outside the galley observing the crew clean the entire boat including our suite, unable to participate in any activities including a final shower On our second last day the crew told us they had a last-minute surprise booking - Ownership has responded that there was no last-minute booking, yet they admitted to our agent that they mistakenly double booked our last day. Mistake or whitewash In early afternoon we checked the radar and along with the boats Captain verified that the aircraft had not left Panama City before changing into our swim suits and entering the water, knowing we had a least an hour to cool off in the water, change and still leave the boat for the 5 minuted trip to the landing strip Upon entering the water, the captain on the phone called us back to the boat to tell us the owner had ordered us off the boat to the landing strip where we would wait standing on the grass for the aircrafts late arrival. The last minute guests then promptly arrived not expecting a double booking This explains the owners ordering off the boat to the landing strip ASAP While waiting on the landing strip we could observe on the radar that our aircraft had just taken off from Panama City – We would also take photos of the aircraft landing with the Captain waiting with us as his supplies were on board the aircraft Therefore it is very puzzling for the owners to again indicate that the plane was waiting on the runway when we went for swim and that we had somehow refused to leave the boat. Another misunderstanding by ownership or more white washing This is not Ok with us & a thorough investigation the agent Catamaran San Blas it was also not ok with them and they informed us that they are in the process of removing this owner and their boats from their web site After considerable discussions through our agent the boat owners grudgingly agreed to refund a token $250 and the agent would match that. With bank transfer fees the amount was less than 1/2 the $900 we paid The Catamaran is in top condition, the generator was non-functioning which meant no A/C and 30 plus degree sleepless nights. Captan Thomas would spend 3 plus hours attempting to start the generator that powered the A/C which our agent sold us Another fact disputed by ownership - More whitewashing The crew consisting of Captain Thomas and Candela were the absolute best and they could not do enough to make us feel comfortable and involved in daily activities and meal choices We cannot say enough about this pair of gems and it was our absolute pleasure to sail experienceing Ritz Carleton servitude Candela is an awesome cook – The seafood (Lobster, Crab etc.) were cooked to absolute perfection and the presentation was Michelin five star Thomas is a great captain and practices safety first, meaning we felt at ease and relaxed while onboard under his very capable hands. Mr.Andrew,We hope that you are well,as we know that you have a terminal illness and we understand your delicate emotional state.We are very sorry for all the inconveniences you have experienced during the last day of your stay.However,the crew,flatly deny all the facts that you report on board,so we are deeply surprised by your opinion.For me it is a pleasure to clarify what we believe was a misunderstanding,since there was no last minute reservation that would alter the timing of your trip as you imagined.The Cielos del Pacífico flight company that you contracted to leave San Blas by small plane(and with which we do not have any type of commercial relationship)gives us notice that in order not to compromise your safety during the flight,the departure time is brought forward,for meteorological reasons,because the plane that you hired is very small and that you are traveling with the maximum weight limit.They insist that you must be punctual,waiting on the landing strip at the indicated time.Otherwise following flights will suffer delays,and that the company charges an extra cost of $50 for every 15 minutes of delay.So in any case it was an order received by Tango Sail,because we simply limit ourselves to informing about the instructions of the Cielos del Pacífico flight company.The cleaning of the boat that you describe is what is carried out daily on the catamaran,absolutely nothing changes.The amount you have been returned is the equivalent of the time that you could not enjoy on board,following our charter policy.Captain Tomi,seeing that you jumped into the water at the same moment that the plane was already landing,called us completely stressed as he did not know how to react to your refusal to get off the ship: An unpleasant situation that our captain never had lived before in his entire career as a captain.Mr.Andrew,according to international treaties,and the rental contract of the vessel,it is indicated that the captain is the law on board,and that he is fully empowered to decide the timing of the trip,as well as its route,always looking out for the safety of the boat and all occupants.Mr. Jepi,who is the one through whom you contracted the boat, is a friend of ours,and he only has a website that is an illegal agent.Mr. Andrew,Catamaran San Blas doesn´t have an office or any tax identification number in any country: they don’t have a legally registered anywhere.Mr.Jepi, simply try to give you the reason to make you happy,for compassion due you sad situation.Mr.Andrew,We have been working with love and passion in the world of charter for more than 10 years,so we do not need to work with agencies,since 80% of our clients come to us through recommendations from other clients, and proof of this is that we are the catamaran working the most in San Blas charters.We are not a large charter company,Tango Sail is a company with two boats traveling around the world, and provides charter service in each country it visits.Our intention never is to deceive a client for a few hours... it is something absurd and makes no sense.Mr. Andrew,You never hired the air conditioning, which is an optional extra service, and it was never broken.As a precaution for us, and to avoid the client don’t make a misuse of it,the air conditioning is unplugged from the generator,and thus we control that the client who uses the air conditioning is because he has hired it and has paid for it.Mr.Andrew,thank you for the opportunity that you present to us,to show not only the clarity and transparency about our company,but also that our crew are qualified,qualified and specialized in providing a more than excellent service, as well as our work philosophy.We are aware that all our clients, regardless of their economic and social level,make an economic effort and expect that their well-deserved vacation days are in accordance with the expectations created.We continue working really hard to offer a fully satisfactory experience to everyone who trust us.Greetings!

5 STARS!!! What an unbelievable experience! The Tango is a luxury catamaran experience crewed by the customer service dream team: Tómas and Candela. Tómas captained the boat expertly from island to island, giving us a wide range of options each day and tailoring our experience to fit our preferences for the day (snorkeling, longer beach walks, night bonfires, swimming with sharks, meeting and engaging with locals, etc.). He always had a sparkling, can-do attitude and he is clearly known and respected by the locals. The fishermen all know him by name and consistently came to The Tango first, giving us first choice of the catch and ensuring we always had the freshest and best fish/seafood available. Candela's ever present smile and incredible culinary skill meant that our needs were well attended to during our time on the boat and every meal we had on the boat was absolutely delicious (and presented with Michellin-esque plating to boot!). I've never before had such amazing variety of fish, and I suspect I may not again until our next sail with The Tango, which I hope will not be far in the future! Overall, the unrivaled natural beauty of Sam Blas paired with the unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction made for a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with memories we will treasure forever. I had the pleasure of staying at Tango for 3 nights and had a blast! It was our first time chartering a boat. Tommy and Candela went above and beyond to make sure my family and I had the greatest time. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and Cande decorated the boat and even baked a cake, which was very thoughtful❤️ At first, I thought I would feel a little uncomfortable staying with 2 people I never met before but they were both AMAZING and made us feel right at home. I was also a little nervous to travel with a 1 year old but she had a great time too so I totally recommend it to all those parents out there. Tommy is a very responsible captain and Cande besides being a sweetheart, cooks fenomenal. The cat itself is very well taken care of. Everything looks new and is very spacious. Everything was very clean and the linens/towels smelled very good (I’m very picky). You obviously have to be mindful about water/electric use but we were totally fine and never ran out of anything. The team is very organized and is willing to help and just be there for you to make sure you have the greatest vacation ever. The only thing I regret is not staying a little longer… So, stop thinking about it and just book your vacations with them because they are probably the best charter company in San Blas😉

Desde el momento en que subimos a bordo, quedamos cautivados por la belleza de la embarcación y la cálida bienvenida de la tripulación, Diego y Mónica. Se esforzaron por hacer nuestro viaje romántico y especial. Las vistas espectaculares y el ambiente a bordo, especialmente al atardecer, crearon recuerdos inolvidables. Durante nuestros momentos de snorkel, nos maravillamos al ver una diversidad asombrosa de animales marinos en las aguas cristalinas. Fue como sumergirse en un acuario natural, una experiencia única que recomendamos a todos los amantes de la vida marina. Además, las playas paradisiacas en las que nos relajamos eran simplemente idílicas. La arena blanca y suave, el agua turquesa y la tranquilidad del entorno crearon el escenario perfecto para descansar y disfrutar de la belleza natural. La comida a bordo fue exquisita, superando nuestras expectativas. Recomiendo encarecidamente el Tango Sail para parejas en busca de una escapada romántica. Yo le doy un 2 en el ranking y lo explico. La parte del catamaran: El catamaran si bien es moderno, hay algunas cosas que deberían mejorar. No hay hielo suficiente para preparar bebidas y menos para 6 personas. Cuando nos vendieron el paquete decía que había equipamiento para snorkel y lo que hay es solo para 3 personas y éramos 6 personas así que nunca pudimos salir todos juntos a recorrer arrecifes y los equipos están en mal estado. El kayak estaba con el respaldo roto y se hacía dificultoso permanecer en él durante algunos minutos. Las 2 tablas de padelboard están correctas. Electricidad en el barco: de las cinco noches solo una pude dormir "acordé". El catamaran tenia grandes problemas eléctricos evidentes. La electricidad se terminaba a las 12 am y te quedas sin ventilador en los dormitorios y demas suministros. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba o no tenia. Lo único que había eran unos pequeños ventiladores en los dormitorios. Había que solicitar que enciendan los motores para recargar baterías. En una noche en especial el capitán del barco se le solicitó en 3 oportunidades que encendiera el motor, que de mala ganas lo hizo, muy lamentable. La comida abordo: la comida fue muy buena las primeras 4 noches sobre 5 que nos quedamos. Aquí es el punto fuerte. Igual siempre había que solicitar algún bocadillo entre comidas ya que no ofrecen nada. Pero en resumen esta ok. Bebida: Las sodas y el alcohol se agotó al segundo día y no tienen reposición en el barco, cuando solicitamos más bebida, llego dos días después. Mal manejado. Lo lugares que visitamos: Las islas que nos llevaron básicamente son todas iguales tienden a realizar dos visitas por día diferentes. El problema que básicamente son todas iguales, isla, arena, palmeras. En algunas te cobran por bajar en otras no. Lo feo es que hay mucho plástico y basura en todas ellas. Lo mismo pasa en el agua. Es un común denominador ver residuos en cada momento, se ve que los lugareños no limpian nada y al contrario tiran todo al mar. Muy impactante de ver, un lugar tan lindo y tan sucio. De todas las islas que nos llevaron solo hubieron dos que realmente valieron la pena ir. El resto no vale la pena bajar. La vida en el agua o mar: El capitán te dice mañana vamos hacer esto y aquello y luego te cambia los planes sobre la marcha. Ejemplo la cuarta tarde/noche, paramos cerca de un arrecife que se veía prometedor para verlo a la próxima mañana. Pues bien a las 5 am prendió motores y nos llevó a otra locación poco atractiva y así van pasando los días. Y te dicen mañana vamos a ir a un lugar muy bonito y básicamente no hay nada para ver. No hay un plan que sean por lo menos 5 lugares por dia de excelencia, una isla, un buen arrecife, etc. Es muy baja la calidad de los lugares que te llevan. Solo la vista entre las islas es bueno y conjuntamente con el continente hace un lugar muy pintoresco. La noche es el momento de mejor disfrute ya que baja la temperatura y la brisa hace que sea muy agradable. Si vale la pena visitarlo? Yo personalmente no lo voy a recomendar, ni el lugar ni la empresa de catamaranes. El lugar esta conformado por uno lugareños bastantes complejos de entenderlos y poco interactivos. Es todo medio complejo llegar al "puerto" y te solicitan que no hables con nadie, todo muy extraño, se ve que es todo corrupción entre ellos. Para resumir no me lleno como pensaba, principalmente la parte del catamaran, con bastantes faltantes de organización y locaciones donde realmente refleje el atractivo, que pienso los hay. Muy lejos esta de ser un servicio de buena calidad.

Amazing, exceeded speciation. The crew was amazing always checking if we need something. Teníamos la fortuna de haber visitado algunas de las islas del archipiélago de San Blas en el pasado y, en esta ocasión, con Tango Sail, ha sido, incluso, más espectacular por la comodidad del catamarán (Lagoon 42), el servicio y la amabilidad de la tripulación y la flexibilidad del capitán para adaptar la navegación a nuestros deseos. Puntualidad, comidas y limpieza son otros atributos que también destacaría. Muy recomendable Un viaje maravilloso que si solo tuvo una pega fue el no habernos quedado una noche más.

The last day of our trip, one of our friends got sick. Tango made all the arrangements and in less than two hours our friend was at the hospital in Panama City.
