We’ve been coming here since January 2025, when my son was just two years old. He has autism, and we receive speech, occupational, and physical therapy services at Talk About. I absolutely love the staff—everyone is so kind and supportive. My son’s therapists are amazing and have done a wonderful job collaborating with his BCBA to make sure he has all the support he needs to thrive. A huge shoutout to Lauren and Emily—you are truly the best! Thank you for being so passionate about your work, and for the kindness and love you show my son every session.

I’m very disappointed with Talk About Therapy. They have been completely unresponsive. When a child needs support, especially for something as important as speech development, communication and follow-through are critical. Unfortunately, I received neither. I also agree with other Black and Brown reviewers — it feels like there is a pattern of families like ours not being taken seriously, which makes this even more disheartening. My son deserves better, and I cannot recommend this practice.

We also want to note that some locations have a waitlist, which is the case for your child at this time. My 4-year-old son has been seen at this clinic before, but recently we've had a frustrating experience. Unfortunately, we had to cancel two appointments last minute due to one of my kids being sick with a fever. I understand cancellations aren't ideal, but when a clinic works with young children, you'd hope they'd show some understanding and flexibility. When I called to reschedule, the man who answered told me they'd need to “review my account” and would call me back. A week later, I followed up and was told there were no appointments available. Then again, another week later—same response. What’s more disappointing is that they used to have appointments available all the time before this happened. When I expressed concern about my son’s needs and how he really needs care, they showed no compassion. In fact, they even told me, “If you need to find a different place, we can send over the documents.” It honestly felt like they were just playing games and didn’t care at all. I’m really disappointed in how we were treated. Families with young children deserve better—especially when seeking help!

We love Talk About Therapy. My son’s SLP, Ms. Molly, is so amazing and kind. My son is 3 with extreme separation anxiety but he has no issues with taking Ms. Molly’s hand to attend his sessions. He absolutely loves her! We recently got a second therapist in their office, Ms. Emily, who is amazing and personable too. All of the therapists here are great with the kids and try to make them as comfortable as possible. You can tell they love what they do. I am so happy that I found Talk About Therapy. Their new location is really nice too. ***Update*** We are still going strong with TAT! My son will be 5 in March and he has made so many strides with his SLP and OT. Ms. Carol, our OT, has been a dream! She genuinely loves the kids and is very diligent in all that she does. Her spirit is unmatched and my son loves her so much. We still see Ms. Emily and now we see Ms. Ansley as well. They make a wonderful SLP team for my son and have always put their best foot forward. Their passion for kids + speech speaks volumes! I am forever grateful for TAT and will continue to bring my child here for services. Their new office location is huge and it has been a pleasure watching this group grow and thrive! I highly recommend TAT. All of the therapists (even the ones my child doesn’t see) are all welcoming and are always greeting my child by name.

I found them to be terrible and not effective. My son was kicked out because he was constantly sick from daycare environment and my father was on his death bed so I was out of town a lot. They lack compassion they should hire an entire new front staff . I do not recommend this place at all.

I have nothing but great things to say about the therapists here! Ansley has been such a blessing with my daughter for speech, even in the short time we’ve been coming here. All the therapists seem so friendly and happy whenever I see them getting other kids from the waiting room, and the kids always seem so excited to go back. My daughter is always so happy to see Miss Ansley! I’d recommend Talk About Therapy to anyone!

We also had a horrible experience with Ms. Camden and our kiddo. Not sure how Ms. Camden found her way to doing speech therapy, which requires patience and understanding. This matter was reported to the owner, but no action was taken. The fact that Talk About Therapy still has not let her go or addressed this, after all this while, is concerning and says a lot about their ethics. Strongly suggest that folks get services else where.

My son absolutely loves to come here and has made great progress since he started speech therapy. As soon as I pull up to the building, he gets excited. Ms Chelsea is a great therapist who takes the time to work, create a great bond and to understand him. My son loves her.

I agree with the other posters that this is not a good place for Hispanic or Black/African American kids. My 2 year old worked with Camden, and she was absolutely rude. She yelled at him when she became agitated at him for not pointing to pictures when she asked him. He’s TWO YEARS OLD. She also yelled at him when he laid on the floor and stared at the ceiling. YELLED. I had to remind her to use her inside voice and to be patient! My son has a developmental disability, why would you be so impatient!! I took my son to Greater Atlanta Speech Therapy, and he loved it. The speech therapists at Greater Atlanta were patient, loving and my son was always excited to see them. I will be sure to share the video and audio of Camden’s rudeness so other parents can be aware not to bring you kids here, especially if they happen to be a person of color. Below is a picture of the gloomy room they send your kid to for evaluation. It’s 100% NOT kid friendly and is super un-inviting. Pair this with a yelling therapist and you’ve got a traumatized child in the making.

Horrible experience with the women here. They cancelled my daughters appointment an hour before her time then I go to their old location across the street but they act as if they can’t see me when I told them in the phone that I’m right at the old location. It was a terrible experience that turned into a racist encounter because they tried to kick me out for trying to advocate for my daughter and 3 moms stood up for me saying that they were wrong and should have grace because I as a customer had grace when they cancelled an hour before hand. Ashley lied and said I cussed… I do not cuss in front of my daughter that is disgusting. She rolled her eyes and said she had another appointment. The front desk clerk was understanding but very over dramatic like someone traumatized her. I told her I was wrong I did not mean to go to the wrong place but that is where Google took me. No one had grace, No apologies. It was terrible and they lost 3-4 black and Hispanic kids. This would have been my first appointment due to THEM canceling the first one. I DO NOT RECOMMEND please go somewhere where there are ALL races present and are able to work with you as we work them. Not a group of white women telling me that my African American kid can say R, K or Th.

We are a practice with therapists from diverse backgrounds, and we love and embrace the opportunity to serve all of our families of all backgrounds.

We appreciated your understanding when we had an emergency maintenance issue earlier in the week. And when you missed your appointment we offered you an opportunity to reschedule without any penalty as we do with all of our patients if they have to cancel last minute or miss an appointment without notice. All we ask is that missed appointments not be a repeated occurrence as no-shows impact our ability to serve all of our families.

We unfortunately aren't able to continue providing services when our staff and therapists are belittled and made to feel threatened and we had to make that decision in this case.

Hello I am writing this for century park location. They scheduled my appointment for my son’s feeding evaluation without informing me that I have to bring my own food this is my first time so I don’t know anything about it when I reach the office they refuse to evaluate my son just because of the food,they were keep texting me 10 times for confirmation of appointment but not a single reminder for the food.Unprofessional behavior Ms.Neeti please I request you not do this with others I came all the way from Decatur with all hassle and they did not help me in anyway really really bad.Wont recommend anyone

The management and front desk lack competence and communication skills. The fact that someone can call weekly and front desk not have the appropriate information and management stand behind it is beyond me! The fact that management isn't credible or reliable enough to return calls when she states she will is beyond me! The fact that my daughter attended this place for a year w/ no issues but as soon as I had schedule change the office all of sudden had issues with my child's behavior during sessions and canceled without my permission didn't even call me then tried to make it like my family was the problem! I don't recommend this place.... I suggest the owner gets new management and front desk staff they don't communicate w/ one another and the credibility is limited due to that! However the therapist are amazing! It's the other staff that's is the problem if they had that under control this place could thrive. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that I couldn't and I can only speak with the same management that can't even return calls when she says she will! Picture that! And my family was punished for this ....I'm currently hoping the owner sees this review and reaches out before I do as I told your management what I intend to! The treatment shows no empathy non what so ever! I would love to speak with who owns this business about there management!

There aren’t words to describe what Ms.Emily has done to help my 4 year old son . He has been with her since he was 2 years old where he started as non verbal ,now he’s vocabulary has improved so much over the years . We had start with Ms. Emily at a different location . I had to follow her to this new business due to the relationship they have built . Besides the help she has given my son , she has great communication skills with parents on aiding and informing on how we can help our kid at home. Forever great with her work -Mateo parents ❤️

Very rude receptionist at the front desk. Never pleasant and keep rolling her eyes after communicating with parents -- I've sent her do this on multiple occasions and it made me feel very uncomfortable to entrust my child in their care. The therapists are not as experienced as I though it they would be so I had to pull my child out. They just assign children to therapists like a production line so your child will not have thr same therapist each time, which makes consistency in your child's program a BIG CHALLENGE! I DO NOT recommend them at all. Waste of time and money.
