Szanto this man was an angel from heaven ….I was court appointed Szanto for a pfa violation from a toxic relationship…. From a court appointed lawyer to hiring him because I seen the FIGHT IN HIM… I kept getting an arrested over and over again pfa violation total of 6 ….MR SZANTO keep me free he was always available especially for bail hearing they was trying to give me $1 off 1 million dollar bail and Santos got me on SOB $50k he understand law and he make you welcome at home when he representing his clients but that just part of my story in the mist of having 6 open cases from a toxic relationship I was having a custody battle with my children mother and she made allegations that I pistol whip her it crazy what I been thru in the last 2 years but MR SZANTO in that situation while being on probation and 6 open cases got me bail NO DETAINER! Paid $35k and we just won that case because he took the time to make sure the DA was prosecuting a innocent man that just wanted to be father So the result of the 6 cases they withdrew all chargers once Mr Szanto show them our argument And the big case with my kid mother was withdrew as well because of alibi NO TRAIL !!!! FREE THANK YOU SZANTO FOR ALL YOU DID FOR ME AND MY FAMILY

Mr. Szanto was appointed as my husband’s criminal defense attorney and failed to appear for two consecutive court hearings, forcing my husband to file pro se motions to have him removed so the court could appoint effective counsel and ensure his right to representation. His absence left my husband standing in a criminal courtroom completely alone—not once, but twice. Before the second hearing, I made four separate attempts to reach him—left two voicemails, spoke directly with his receptionist (who assured me he would call back), and called again at 7:30 the morning of court. He never responded. Not once. My husband appeared both times expecting representation and had none. The court was clearly irritated and openly frustrated by his repeated absence, and my husband was the one forced to stand there and absorb the consequences of that in front of the judge. That should never happen in a criminal case. The only thing he ever filed on the docket was an Entry of Appearance—an appearance he never actually made. Beyond that, nothing. No motions, no defense, no preparation. No communication, no explanation, no accountability. We were never informed about what was happening in the case or why hearings were being continued. My husband was forced to request his own continuance so that the motions he had to file pro se could be addressed and to obtain discovery himself. This wasn’t just poor communication—this was, in every practical sense, textbook client abandonment in a criminal case. If you are trusting someone to represent you or your family in court, the bare minimum expectation is that they show up, communicate, and do their job. That did not happen here. Zero communication. Zero preparation. Zero accountability.

Ms. Shuda, I apologize to you and your husband for my unavailability. While every case and client are important to me, your husband's case was an appointment from the First Judicial District court system. Sometimes notices of appointment aren't properly delivered or docketed and don't appear on my daily calendar from the court. That's what happened in this matter. After review, it appears that your husband's case was in the Accellerated Misdemeanor Program, also known as "AMP." As such, there would not have been any motions filed or litigation for this case. It would have been resolved with community service. It also appears that this matter was scheduled at a police district, not the Criminal Justice Center in center city where most of my matters are heard. When appointments come in from the FJD's appointment wheel, court administration doesn't consult with me about my daily schedule. It's often difficult to be in two courthouses simultaneously, especially when one is in center city and the other is in North East Philadelphia. For this reason I called the district and asked the judge to appoint new counsel. All in all, I hope that your husband's matter was resolved favorably and that he has a positive outcome.

Jules was so understanding and so knowledgeable right from the start! He worked with us and did not make it feel like it was all about the money!! He made the experience of having a 17 year old wrongly accused of murder so much more manageable! It was a hard time for my family and the situation was not ideal at all!! Jules was able to get my son home on house arrest first, something other lawyers we hired could not do or would not even attempt! Ultimately we sat in court after Jules finished his closing arguments and not guilty on all charges was my son’s verdict!! It was a long 3 year battle and we are forever grateful to Jules for giving my son a second chance at life and reuniting him with his family!! Yesterday me and Jules stood trial for an aggravated assault that occurred 3 years ago. I took an open plea and had that plea withdrawn earlier this year. Jules hopped on the case and made a difference immediately. Years of worry put to ease the moment we first spoke. His interpretation of the law and legal proceedings is top tier. At trial he stole the floor and won the case alone of the strength of his argument and ability to outline the facts of the case.
