Excellent service

We had been thinking about installing solar panels for a while, but I always had some questions and wondered whether it would work for us. Sunny Energy did a great job of explaining things and making us feel like they were there for us through the whole process. They were especially good about explaining the finances and working out the numbers so we could see exactly what our savings would be. All their personnel were top notch, from the sales rep to the installers. We're looking forward to saving money and helping the environment at the same time. Definitely recommend Sunny Energy.

If you are not familiar with solar energy this is a trustworthy company to go with. If you are familiar, and have special requests, they will accommodate. All the people are dedicated to making sure the customer is satisfied. They coordinate all the permits and inspections which makes the process easy and is assured to meet all requirements. They even painted the conduit to meet HOA requirements. Install is very nice looking.

Update: Can customer service manager call me back? I call the office from Mon to today, customer service manager always busy . Please call back. And Trevor always busy. Thank you. Mr. Trevor is nice and professional, it’s great to have him with us for solar panel.😊

OCTOBER 2023 UPDATE: Hallelujah. Sunny Energy came through, finally convincing SolarEdge to warranty replace an inverter and two optimizers (out of 34). Bingo, problems largely solved. So increasing review to to 4 stars. This is not to say that things are flawless, or that SolarEdge, as a company, is reliable and easy to deal with. There are still occasional days when reporting is severely delayed, caused by SolarEdge software or mainframe glitches. Sunny Energy told me all the manufactures have issues, as it is the nature of the beast at this stage of technological development. Apparently, SolarEdge is better than most, which really isn’t saying much. On the other hand, Sunny Energy is definitely better than most, hence the kudos. JUNE 2023 UPDATE: Lowered from 3 stars to 2 stars. Because more than two months later the SolarEdge problems remain, actually seem to be getting worse. Their technicians can't figure it out, but it is one delay after another (I mean that both ways: panel reporting delays and absences, and delays by SolarEdge in resolving the issues). Finally, SolarEdge said they would replace one of the inverters, but I'm not holding my breath on that. No ETA. Plus, one of the panel optimisers periodically is inoperable, with null data transmission for an entire day at a time. Sunny Energy seems to be actively attempting to run interference on the matters, but still awaiting tangible results. Still waiting... waiting... waiting... INITIAL REVIEW MARCH 2023: It has been about a year since activation of my solar panel system by Sunny Energy. The company itself is generally responsive and did a good job with installation, as far as I can tell. I paid upfront for the system, except for a small balance which was fulfilled within the year. The problem is with SolarEdge, which very frequently fails to clock the amounts of production and/or consumption, and may even not be transmitting the production accurately. At a minimum, it is a software problem by SolarEdge, and the manufacturer acknowledges the ongoing issues but only temporarily resolves them. It could also be linked to malfunctioning SolarEdge inverters. It is beyond my layman's capability to diagnose. Either way, SolarEdge is horrible and should be avoided at all costs, because it is unreliable and cannot be trusted for accuracy. If this means avoiding Sunny Energy due to its devotion to SolarEdge products and software, then look elsewhere for your solar panel installation. I really wanted to give Sunny Energy a glowing review because they are nice, competent people. But they are dragged down by their association with SolarEdge. I just can't understand how a multinational company SolarEdge can get away with a lack of investment in top notch software programmers (or even worse if the source of the problem is the inverters themselves). No valid excuse for this. Check out other critical reviews mentioning SolarEdge.

I can’t say enough good things about this company. I worked with them when I purchased my home in Arizona in 2022 and it was the best investment I did for myself and my home. To date I’ve never paid an electric bill. My Solar panel system was set up perfectly for me by the sunny energy team and they we very diligent through the process to keep me up to date. I never had to check in on the status, they were always one step ahead it. if you currently own a home or looking to buy in the future please do yourself the favor and look into Solar with Sunny energy, you won’t regret it. -Jess
