I went to Colombia with very high expectations and definitely my experience was way more than what I expected, since the first conversation I felt very welcomed and the day of the ride the views were amazing the bike I got was in perfect condition my guide was great and the food was the cherry to my day.
I will definitely recommend this experience to any person who has a passion for MTB.
This experience will be a primary event each time I revisit Colombia. ??
I’d never properly put into words how great Leo and his group at Sueltele made this trip…but I’ll give it my best shot!
Knowing I had to catch a flight the same day, I was rushing to ride some of the mountains in the Medellin area. Leo picked me up that morning from my Airbnb with breakfast and coffee for the drive and along the way we had wonderful conversation about everything and anything from the beauty and history of the land to the pursuit of happiness.
When we reached our destination trailset nearest the airport, I was introduced to his awesome friends and handed all the gear needed to be dangerous on the trails; Leo provided everything (jersey, shorts, helmet, gloves, SUPER COOL BIKE, etc.) except the bike skills!
The trails were slick early in the morning, but a few hours later I was catching grip along the gnarly root systems and zipping through the flower encrusted forest, around berms and over doubles.
As my upper body started to feel like jello and I felt the time to catch my flight was near, we loaded back up and Leo dropped me off at the airport. My biggest complaint about this trip was that I didn’t spend enough time with Leo and the crew at Sueltele. I’m dying to go back and make this a two week long trip to ride everything I can…also to get more of Leo’s pan de piña y plátano! Thank you and your crew from the bottom of my soul for the most awesome and memorable experience of my trip.
Excellent experience. I highly recommend Sueltele. This is a truly authentic experience riding on fantastic single track trails. Leo and Boris took care of every detail. I loved it. The riding was amazing. At first glance, it may seem a little pricey, but when you take into consideration the entire day, it is well worth it. And you will ride as much as you like until you are exhausted. The post-ride swim in the river was a perfect end to the day. And the late lunch at the local restaurant was super tasty and a spot you would not find on your own. Definitely my best day in Medellin.

Awesome experience. I booked 3 days of downhill mountain biking with Leo and he definitely delivered the goods. Everyday we rode different trails in completely different areas surrounding Medellín. From technical single track with steep switch backs to long flowy downhill trails passing through different micro climates along the way. On the last day we even rode a groomed flow trail in the city with big berms and big jumps. The views and the nature was amazing on every single trail. Leo's knowledge and expertise was 5 star. The meals that were provided were great. I will definitely be booking some rides with Leo again in the future. Highly recommended. ?
This was my first experience mountain biking and Suetele set the bar VERY high. It was absolutely incredible and pure fun!
Leo, the lead and host on our adventure not only made sure the bike ride was epic but he also provided very fresh fruits and tasty drinks after the bike ride. It was also a educational experience for my friends and I. We tried berries on some breaks and Leo explained to us what we were eating while also sharing detailed insight on the ecosystem.
This experience FAR EXCEEDED expectations!!
I will be leaving 2 more reviews.... it only got better when my friends and I returned to ride with Leo again!
Amazing tour! Best biking tour I've ever taken. Where can I start, Leo is a great guide. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about biking. He gave me a lot of riding tips that were very helpful during the tour. He also has a great attitude. I didn't feel rushed, we went at my own pace. The scenery was beautiful, we went to the top of a mountain where we could see the city. If you are looking for an adventure along the beautiful Colombian countryside this is it!!! Highly recommended.

What an experience! Leo is an excellent guide, great rider but overall an amazing person! We had an amazing day. the trails are technical but you can achieve a good flow after a few rides. The bikes are in great condition! I am coming back in a few months for sure! If you are a rider and come to Medellin to visit you have to go riding with Leo and Boris!
I had a great time. Easy booking and communication. The guys picked me up at the hotel right on time and we went out to a beautiful breakfast spot overlooking the valley. It.saved.me. The first trail we did was WHOA. I’m more of a trail rider.. this was challenging DH fun. We jumped in the truck and made it up to the second trail. This was challenging too, but we decided to give it another run. The whole time I was learning things and I really feel that not only did I have a great time, but I’m a better rider for riding with Suétele. Totally worth the money. Best guided MTB tour I have ever done.

This did not feel like a tour with a guide. It felt like a friend from out of town invited us home to share their favourite riding spots. Sueltele is the perfect combination of totally organized and prepared mixed with easy going and fun. I feel so lucky that we gave mountain biking in Colombia a chance, because these trails were so deliciously crushable.... and the views outside the city, sublime! It would be a shame to miss out. The best part is that riding with Sueltele, you don’t have to drag your gear from back home! The bike I was given to use was far nicer than my own. Pleasantly surprised all around.
Leo is an extremely personable and engaging guide. He definitely goes out of his way to provide a quality outdoor, riding experience. The trails through Arvi Park are challenging and technical, and Leo does a fantastic job of narrating and a assisting as you traverse them. Highly recommended.

We joined Leo for a guided ride above Medellín. Great day out. He managed a group with different abilities. We had a meal and beer together afterwards. Awesome day out.
Trails were cross country with various degrees of difficulty. Leo made sure we were prepared for what was coming up and helped us navigate some amazing jungle trails.
Had a very nice day of DH with Leo. Everything was arranged perfectly, the extra guide as well for my (beginner)friend who came along. This is real DH for passionate mountainbikers. Choice of many different tracks available, Leo perfectly choses which ones suits your request best. DH or enduro bikes provided were in perfect condition and high quality. Highly recommended!!!.see soon again Leo.
I was fortunate enough to ride with Leo (owner of Sueltele Adventures) on two separate occasions. What an amazing experience!! Leo is extremely personable, kind, and friendly (speaks English like a local if your Spanish isn’t good too) . Add to that he knows all the best riding in the area for XC or downhill. If your going to Medellin and want to ride I would go with Sueltele Adv. looking forward to next time!
