This is the first Subaru dealer that DOES NOT meet the standard you expect from the brand. We inquired over the phone about a specific Solterra they had in stock and told them we'd be there to test drive in an hour. Upon arrival, the car wasn't there and was at the storage facility, and the person we talked to on the phone wasn't there.
We were passed from one sales person to another. The one that eventually took us on a test drive (his name is Jose Delgado per their website) had a grumpy attitude complaining because we did not want to buy a car that day, he wasn't going to make any money, and clearly did not want to get the car from the storage lot. Our test drive? Just a drive from the storage lot, down Brand blvd., and back to the dealership. Zero customer service. Zero managers reaching out to ask how we like the car after the test drive. The sales person just said bye after we parked the car.
This is the textbook example of how to lose a customer. I will NEVER return to Subaru of Glendale again.

From the moment we walked up until we drove off, Dino in sales had us covered. It was the best first-time car buying experience for my son. I practically was there just to translate numbers and make sure he had peace of mind once we sat down with Omar in finance which if I may add extended that positive experience by futher lowering his APR. Thank you, Dino, you truly made that sale seamless and ethical.
My son picked his first car to be a Subaru WRX. I knew he was in love the minute he grabbed the wheel.
I brought my Subaru into the dealship in Nov. for tire sensors. They just serviced the subaru. I brought it back for the same sensors. Juliette, the service writer, did a diagnostic check on the Subaru. Later that day, Juliette informed us that I need a catalytic converter on the car. My husband got on the call with Juliette also and asking why a catalytic converter. Juliette insisted that it needed to be changed. The charge for the diagnostic check will be deducted from the catalytic converter cost. After the new catalytic converter, my car was worse than the very 1st time of taking to dealership. My car smelled like gas when driving it. It also sounded like I was drag racing down the LA river. Now 4th time at dealership. Dropped it off Monday March 16th, absolutely crickets from dealership. I called 3 times on Wed. the 18th. Finally Calvin, the service manager called me back. Calvin informed me that my exhaust manifold is cracked. He explained it happens sometimes when replacing catalytic converter. I than asked Calvin now this is my problem when it was your shop that cracked it. Calvin said I only will be charged for the part not the labor. After $4,492.03 paid to the dealership my Subaru still has sensor codes on. I like subaru cars. I absolutely don't like this dealership!
This rating should be a zero. Subaru of Glendale is no longer the dealership of the past. My sister took her car in for service in November 2025. She addressed a concern she had which was blatantly disregarded. Heike told her they didn't find anything and to come back after it rained. Well, it rained and the car went back in. Only this time, the carpet and roof liner need to be replaced from the water that got into the car. Had this issue been addressed back in November, the cost would have been minimal. At that time, only the drain gasket needed to be replaced. The car was at the dealership for more than a month and Subaru did nothing to repair it. On top of their errors, they expect my sister to pay for the repairs. Subaru could have prevented this fiasco back in November by running a waterhose over the sunroof. The consumer should not be held accountable for their negligence.
I've been here a couple of times. First time experience didn't make me want to come back. I started going to Monrovia instead even though Glendale is closer.
But this last time with Sargon was a great experience. I'm back! I'll be coming to Glendale again. And the service seemed legit!
Called and called and called.
Transferred and hung up on.
Waste of 30 minutes.

This was the single worst experience I have ever had with Subaru in my 30 years of owing/leasing Subaru's. I turned in a 2022 outback and leased a new 2025 outback in November 2025. Every part of the transaction was fraught, challenging, demoralizing, and awful. Misogyny was rampant, as I was not only called "honey" constantly, but also told I needed to have my "husband's" name first on any paperwork. My partner has contacted the dealership multiple times to correct their contact information, but they refuse to update it. When I finally was able to pick up the car after more than 8 hours of waiting, there was damage to the seatbelt and I refused the car. I should have walked away multiple times, but I couldn't stomach having to redo the experience elsewhere. The finance department was a disaster and made a challenging experience more awful. Their electronic signatures were constantly not working, claiming that I was the problem and I should have my "husband" come in and do the paperwork. I explained that I was leasing the car, and not him more times than I can express. They never gave me my final paperwork, and I have gone into the dealership multiple times to try to retrieve it, having been told that the manager is not available to talk with. I have left contact information over email, phone, and in person and have not gotten a response. As a victim of the Eaton fire, I explained my situation and they lied to me saying I would not need to pay any mileage overage, but have now been contacted by my leasing bank to pay an overage. I will NEVER return to Subaru of Glendale. And, I suggest you do not either.
I am disappointed with the service at Glendale Subaru. I had a 10 a.m. appointment at Glendale Subaru for an oil change. I asked the service writer to have the mechanic check why the engine RPM stays high for two minutes, and if possible, reprogram it to 50 seconds like other cars. I was ignored for two hours with no updates, I couldn't find my service writer, and my text went unanswered. after asking to a different advisor told me the oil change was done, but they were still trying to fix the RPM issue. We waited another hour without any updates, service, or offer of a ride. After 3 hours and 15 minutes, I got a text saying my car was ready, but the RPM issue was not resolved. I should have bought a Toyota RAV4.

Awful service experience.
Brought my car in because five warning lights went on. Service center claimed the issue was needing to replace 2 sensors, to the tune of $1100. I asked for the diagnostic codes, and I checked what they meant. The meaning of the codes was vague (issues with the cars internal computer communication system) and did not directly point to needing to replace these sensors. But I trusted them bc they’re a dealership, bit the bullet and had the work done.
All those warning lights came back on the very next day. The work they did obviously did not fix the problem, and likely had nothing to do with the problem. AFAIK they won’t refund me. They just saw me as a way to make a quick buck with lazy troubleshooting, this dealership is essentially equivalent to a scammy mechanic.
They’re also terrible with communication.
Ordered parts on their online website, never received an email order confirmation, waited a couple of days, still no email, called them, they would put me on hold and never pick up the phone, I had to go in person to check on my order, the person at the counter told me they forgot to order my parts, and to come back in a couple of days, came back, still no parts, they told me they forgot to order the parts again, came back a couple of days later, still no parts, came back a couple of days later, they only have some of my parts, it's been past 3 weeks and still haven't got the last of my parts, keep in mid these were just bolts that I ordered nothing special, and I was charged for the parts from the beginning, these guys are thieves. I have never ordered from a website and received no email confirmation, there's definitely something shady about this dealership beware, not only that but after a complained about my parts, they made me feel like I was in the wrong, I was talking to a subaru worker outside as I was leaving, and another subaru employee came out and told them to come in and not talk to me.
I’ve had really positive experiences at subaru of Glendale. So much so that I’m here writing a review lol. I’ve been a customer for a few years now and used to absolutely despise every single moment of the car sales process. It usually feels like you’re just a sales number and it’s a lot of smoke and mirrors and hours and hours of back and forth. I had the opposite experience at Subaru of Glendale which surprised me. Ladi and Tim are genuinely great to work with; honest, fair, and great at what they do. I really wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them! And of course like my Subaru car, too.
This dealer uses bait-and-switch tactics putting online ads that they have no intention in selling you once in the dealership. Waste of time. Do not go here.
