Went here for the first time with my friend, and for me it was the best museum experience I've ever had not only in Cluj, but in Romania. The staff (who speak both English and Romanian), the atmosphere, the displays - everything was absolutely amazing!

Saw it twice now. 2 years apart. It's still worth it and they keep updating the collection. So my original review from 2 years ago stands: Incredibly helpful and kind staff - I would say the staff carries the whole museum; they're truly lovely and brilliant. It's small and a little expensive, but fun, unique and worth it. At the entrance, there are guides asking you if you want to explore by yourself or get a guided tour; I think most people go for self exploration. We did the same, but we've quickly realised we needed some explanation, so the guides were lovely to explain in a quirky and non-intrusive fashion. Hella nice; Cluj is slowly becoming my favourite city because of gems like this (and I hate to say it, coz I'm from Timișoara and we have a pinch of city pride that's engrained in us from the fetus stage)

Very interesting experience , the musem has a dark and mysterious vibe . And it posseses many items that can peak your interest in the abstract.

Must try experience in Cluj Napoca.

Absolutely awesome. I loved the art and at least half of it was interactive. Also there is a journal 3 replica from gravity falls in one of the showcases.

If you are in Cluj-Napoka or passing through, I definitely recommend a visit to this place. The staff is very polite and they all speak English, happy to show and explain everything. A lot of interesting and also interactive things

Very unique Steampunk museum from Transylvania. There you can find objects from movies like Hal 9000 from "The Space Odyssey". The staff is very friendly and passionate about steampunk and will guide you throughout the museum experience. There you can also find one of the Inventors, called Professor Sylvester. As I heard there are days where you can find him working in his workshop upstairs on new inventions. I totally recommend this experience.

Дуже цікаве місце. Обовʼязково для відвідування. Були один раз, але кажуть експонати змінюються десь один раз в три тижні. Тому повернемося знову. Привіт з України 🥰

This is a must do if you are in Cluj. The museum is interractive, but you can also see some very old and interesting objects that are still functional. If you enjoy reading Jules Verne, you will particularly like this museum. You feel as though you were transported into a storybook. I especially enjoyed playing Mario. The guides are so nice and have many fun facts to tell you.

It's an awesome experience! You will find that all works are impressive and have a touch of H.P. Lovecraft, H.G. Wells, H.R. Giger, Jules Verne, even Hayao Miyazaki and many other great imaginative creators. I stayed for about 5 hours. Everywhere you look you see something new. The guys working there are amazing!! They are literally putting their hearts and souls whenever they are guiding everyone through the artworks. Their enthusiasm and love for the museum is infectious 💖 Thank you for everything. I can't wait until next time to discover what other new things you guys have displayed💗✨ P.S. The expierience was just amazing! The staff was really nice. Everything was perfect, to the last deatails. There were a lot of things that you could use. I reckon that everyone should visit this museum.
