Efficient service by the clinic. Laura has a friendly, professional nature and my daughter felt relaxed during the ultrasound. Report received very promptly after the appointment. I would recommend Starlight to anyone needing prompt investigation.

My daughter attended the bury clinic for a 4D/5D Bonding scan with myself and her 2 sisters, it was an amazing experience the sonographer Laura was lovely and took her time to get the best pictures. She carefully explained everything to us in great detail and we were able to get so many beautiful pictures and videos plus a gorgeous heartbeat bear , I would highly recommend Starlight ultrasound.

I’ve been to starlight a good few times now, with both pregnancies. Having early scans, gender scans and 4D scans.
I highly recommend to anyone and wouldn’t go anywhere else for private scans. The staff are so lovely and professional.
Would like to say a massive thank you also for fitting me in very last minute after my 20 week scan at the hospital on Wednesday. When the NHS wouldn’t write the gender of my baby which I needed for my gender reveal this weekend. Thankfully to starlight we can still go ahead this weekend to find out 💗💙.

Very friendly staff. Great experience overall as they made me feel safe and comfortable. Also very quick blood tests!! I got the results within a couple of hours which I was very happy about as it minimised my anxiety for the results.

Currently undergoing IVF, have visited both clinics for bloods on a few occasions. Laura and Ben are very professional, results are super fast (even if late at night or on a Bank Holiday) and communication is excellent, highly recommend. :)

I came to Laura for my gender scan, she was absolutely brilliant. The most relaxed and “not rushed” scan I have ever had, Laura captured the post beautiful pictures and videos of our baby moving around, I will definitely be choosing this clinic to do our 4D scan, I have been to many private scans before but this one is by far the best place to go. 100% recomend

I visited the Bury clinic with my partner and daughter for a 14 week gender scan. The staff are lovely and were amazing with my daughter. We didn't want to know the gender until we got home, the lady doing the scan made sure that we didn't see the screen when she was looking. She also wrapped our heart beat bear in plastic so that we wouldn't see the colour of it before we revealed the gender. Highly recommend starlight! We can't wait to meet our little girl🩷

The receptionist is unbelievably rude and unprofessional, I emailed them earlier in the week to explain we were commuting from
Blackpool to Hale for the appointment and we got there 20 minutes early after having a walk around the village. We went to check in and there was no one in the waiting room, we were told to come back in 15 minutes but I asked because we’d already been for a walk if we could just sit in the waiting area given it was empty to which he said no whilst looking at the screen and didn’t even look up at us. I felt really uncomfortable and went and waited outside in the cold. When going back in once I completed the form we went straight in and the sonography was lovely, she was absoutley amazing I would give her 5 stars! She explained everything in the scan and confirmed the gender. Afterwards I went to the desk to pay and the same man just ignored me whilst I was stood awkwardly waiting for him to acknowledge me to make the payment, he was clearly waiting for the sonographer to come back out before payment but why not just say that and I would have sat down! Just very rude.

thank you for the feedback, sorry you felt you had to give a 2* review despite saying the sonographer was lovely and you would rate her 5* - she is the business owner so by giving a low review it will impact and reflect on her and her business as opposed to any individual staff member.
However we take all such matters extremely seriously as every staff member should provide the same high standards of care and customer service.
We have watched the CCTV back and can see you arrived during the sonographer's lunch break and she doesn't have a separate room and was due to eat her lunch in the waiting room which is why you will have been asked to come back. When you asked if you could wait, the staff members looks at the screen and actually replies that yes you can - but you chose to leave. Perhaps you misheard his response?
As part of our process to look into this matter, when asked what he was looking at, he said it was to check the time and when the next appointment was due in knowing that it can be awkward when customers are waiting during lunch break. Technically the clinic was closed for lunch and this could have been explained to you better so you understood.
Following scan appointments, particularly with gender scans, very often customers have requested additional items such as confetti cannons or may still be waiting for the sonographer to bring out scan prints - there would not have been any deliberate intention to ignore you or leave you standing and we can only apologise if that was how you felt.
We are glad you did think the scan itself was amazing and hope you can reconsider your rating as it would directly and negatively affect Laura and her business.

I attended a scan yesterday with a matter of urgency. The lovely male receptionist ) so sorry I didn’t catch your name) fitted me in even though they were extremely busy. I was met with kindness and Laura that conducted my scan was so calming and kind. I’m so grateful to have been seen by you, and will always recommend anybody wanting a private scan to this lovely clinic. I hope to attend again one day soon. 5 stars without a doubt

We had our early reassurance scan here today and we were very pleased with the services. The sonographer (Laura i think) was lovely and explained everything really well, and even gave us extra scan prints to take home with us. We will be back for our gender scan later in my pregnancy!

A great experience
I had a wonderful experience at Starlight. I felt at ease straight away as I received confirmation of booking and reminders prior to my appointment. The instructions for visiting were straight forward regarding my scan and even down to the parking availability which was very helpful.
The experience I received from Laura was excellent , she is very knowledgeable but also very friendly which helped to calm any anxiety I had around the scan. I found out information that I was not informed of during my NHS scan which helped me to understand additional details.
A wonderful family company which I will recommend to all who require any of Starlight services.

Amazing experiences
I have had an early dating scan (5/6 weeks) and the IONA NIPT ultrasound and blood test.
This offers a lot more reassurance than the NHS one I did and the scan was a great experience. It felt more personal and about seeing the baby rather than rushing an appointment and Laura is lovely. Communicates everything well. Highly recommend

Just amazing! Very friendly
Jaide at the Bury branch is truely amazing! I’ve had 3 scans so far with her including a gender scan she made myself and my partner feel so welcome and at ease. She explained everything and is just simply lovely! Even the gentleman who’s on the front desk each time has been friendly full of information.
