Just okay, fees are high Pros: Squarespace allows for easy invoicing and has an intuitive platform to find the information you need. Cons: The service fee on each transaction is higher than other similar platforms. There are also limitations to how you can use the invoices.

Good value for beginners Overall: Overall my experience with Squarespace is good value for the money. Would recommend for others starting out Pros: Easy to design the website. And the options for clients to pay. They also provide marketing designs. Cons: I don’t have the option to make an independent payment you need to have the customer pay directly through the site

My take on Squarespace Overall: Smooth and empowering—helps individuals and small businesses go live with good-looking, fully functional websites fast. For those with more demanding or specialized needs, there are some tradeoffs in terms of flexibility and long-term scalability. Pros: It balances powerful, professional design with simplicity and accessibility. That means less fuss, less learning curve, and a site you can actually be proud of, even if you’re not a developer. Cons: Sstarts to feel restrictive just when you want more freedom, complexity, or the ability to scale. Plus, it’s hard (and sometimes costly) to leave after you’re invested. These are tradeoffs for stability and ease of use.

Easy but with some design limitations Pros: I liked that it's easy to publish a website and that you don't need coding experience to do so. You can edit and publish a website in minutes. Cons: There are limitations to editing on Squarespace. You can only edit certain areas, which makes the designs not as flexible. Also, they have limited website templates.

Good overall and easy to use Overall: Easy to set up, and get a website active in minutes. I had a good experience editing the website and launching it. Pros: It's an easy product to use, the page layouts look professional, with great design and you can set up a running website in minutes. You can also use a lot of features. Cons: Sometimes it is a little difficult to find things like code injection or where to add custom CSS. But once you find it, it's good.

Best Website Software for Non-Coders Overall: I love Squarespace. I manage many websites for my own businesses, for family, and for clients. Hands-down it’s the best website for someone who doesn’t know or doesn’t want to learn coding. Pros: Squarespace is an easy to use all-in-one platform. It produces clean, fresh websites with a few clicks. There are numerous ways to go deeper for fine tuning a website. I find it easy to show clients how to end up managing their own website. Cons: The templates are great, but they are limited. Some of the individuals modules aren’t as strong as I’d like. The ‘Menu’ module for restaurants or pricing is complex. It doesn’t allow much variability in use.

Squarespace: Value for money Pros: Love how the layouts look. Love that they are always improving the product. Love that the blog post can seamlessly be turned into an email campaign. Cons: Maybe if they had more features? I can't think of anything else other than maybe sometimes figuring out which feature I'm looking for can be a challenge.

Square Space Overall: Overall, as time passed I got use to the functionality of it but, it still wasn’t my best experience with developing my website. Pros: What I liked most about square space was it had decent styles for templates and it allowed for me to learn pass the challenges at created my first website. Cons: What I least enjoyed about square space was it was a bit limited in my opinion and not the easiest to navigate or learn.

Easy to use starter websites Overall: I prefer custom set ups and not tied to a vendor. I don't recommend Squarespace to my clients unless there's a huge budget limitation. Pros: Easy to use and simple for non-technical users to get setup with a basic website. A lot of features in-built that cover a range of use cases. Cons: I've helped a few clients in the past with performance issues on their Squarespace sites. The system has limitations as to what you can do to optimize the page and assets.

Easy to Use and Simple Overall: I don't have much tech skills, but this makes it so easy to create everything I need to have a nice looking website. I don't want to put too much effort into my website, so this is perfect. Pros: I love how easy it is to drag and drop an entire website. It has an easy snapping feature that aligns everything to ensure it looks nice. It has many presets, so creation is a joy. Cons: With it being so 'simple' it can be rigid at times. There isn't too much customization and it looks like a 'Squarespace' website.

Slick website builder ideal for small brand sites. Overall: For the small brands we support, Squarespace allows me to set up good-looking sites faster; I spend less time on boilerplate and more on messaging, SEO basics, calls to action. Pros: I really appreciate the speed with which I can design a polished marketing site when using Squarespace; the built-in templates, fonts, and layouts are super helpful in wowing non-technical clients without complex custom code. Cons: That’s understandable, and I’m sure that there are plenty of people who feel the same way as you do, but what really gets to me is the lack of freedom when it comes to making advanced customizations.

Good website but still lack of marketing tools Overall: Overall, the platform is easy to set up and offers great flexibility to customize your brand. If you’re tech-savvy, you can configure most of it yourself. It also includes many built-in marketing features that make it a well-rounded solution. Pros: The website is beautiful and can be customized based on your brand voice. They have a lot of market share, so you can find an affordable freelancer to customize the site. Cons: It's not as easy to customize everything by yourself if you are not tech-savvy. You'll still need help if you want a website with unique look

Creating a Personal Brand & Residual Income with Squarespace I've been using Squarespace for years and they keep surprising me with new features that I didn't even know that I needed but they make my business and brand run more smoothly and increase my online profits. Pros: I can easily create a personal brand and an online destination to sell my digital products all in one place with Squarespace. It has so many intuitive features, page layouts, template design, links, video and image capability, that it brings my brand to life in a way that my audience can easily connect with and understand. Cons: Depending on the design templates, you can't get always get all of the features, which isn't ideal when you love a template or when you switch templates for a brand refresh.

After 2 years of using this platform, I am still very happy & impressed with it. Overall: It was really positive, have no plans to try other website platforms & recommend it to everyone I know who is looking to build their own website. Pros: Very easy to set up a website, has fairly good integration options with other platforms, provides a lot of features that help make your website look really good without needing experience in website design or coding. Cons: I personally had a tricky time when placing certain images on the site & trying to adjust the placement & span of the image on the page.
