Brilliant experience with Square1 Installations. Max responded quickly to my failed inverter issue and installer Oliver could not have been more helpful. Solar panels now back up and running and a monitoring app doing the business! Highly recommended.

We have had solar panels for 11 yrs but over the last two years have developed a problem with pigeons taking up residence. Our last FIT reading seemed low and the pigeon poo was becoming a nightmare! We were unsure of the way forward as finding someone trustworthy was a concern to us. Quite by chance we were recommended this company by a customer that had had a very positive experience of their work. I gave them a call and from start to finish we were reassured by their professionalism and knowledge. They advised us but with no ‘hard sell’ and helped us make what we feel was the right decision. Our panels were thoroughly cleaned and overhauled and we had a new inverter fitted. We can now keep a track of our panels output via an app on our phones :)) We have no difficulty in recommending this company.Thank you Sq1, particularly Oliver who from day one put our minds at ease.

Square1 delivered a superb service for our recent install. We had meetings and quotes from other firms in East Anglia, but were won over by Square1's flexibility with regards to what equipment we could go for, the lack of any hard sell, and a personal recommendation from a neighbour who had also gone with them about a year or so ago. Company Directors Oliver and Max are very hands on, personable and easy to communicate with. Installers John and Aidan were delightful, as was the electrician Tiago. Everyone involved was courteous and professional and left site tidier than when they arrived! It really has been no hassle from start to finish and I'd recommend them to anyone. In fact, another neighbour came over whilst they were on site, met the guys, had a look at the quality of the install and was so impressed, he's going ahead with them too.

Had a couple of meetings with Max and Oliver about the solar and battery instalation , all my questions answered giving me a clear picture of the system and how it will operate . The Team arrived and got started their attention to detail was outstanding great guys ,the panel alignment checked and checked again ,the batteries and equipment installed with the same attention to detail . Everyone was polite ,knowledeable and professional answering any queries i had . Now the system is all up and running with explanation of downloading the App and help with Export tarrif . The past week the house has been running for free all day the batteries charged for free to run the house through the night and exporting the exess back to the grid . I can confidently recommend Square1 instalations its an amazing system. I love watching the App to see all that free electricity .

Square1 Installations, have completed my installation of solar/battery system and EV car charger. The service from first enquiry to installation and commissioning was faultless, the installation crews including scaffolders, electrician (EV charger), Electrician Solar system and the Solar panel installation team where polite, efficient and the job was left clean and tidy. The commissioning engineer (Oliver), was in contact with me from start to finish and was very patient in explaining how the system worked with tips on how to get the best from the system. Overall, Square 1 provided an excellent service at a competitive price and installed exactly when they said they would.

It has now been a couple of months since the installation of my solar panels by Square1, I have waited until now as I wanted to comment on how well the system has performed in good weather. Firstly though Max and Olly were great and I am so pleased that I decided to go with them, although they were not the cheapest quote I am so pleased that I went with a local company who had the knowledge and experience that these guys have. This company was personally recommended to me by a friend. The installation was done very professionally and everything handed over and explained on the app. The team that installed my system were great and did a top job. The aftercare is second to none, I had a issue which was only apparent when we had some good weather whereby the output was being limited once the battery was full, I messaged Olly and he fixed this remotely and now the system is preforming great. I have generated 630kw from solar and only imported 14kw from the grid in 21 days of March from my 7kw EcoFlow system. Thanks Square1!

If there were more stars, we would not stop at five to confirm our experience with Square1. We had excellent experience and top-notch customer service from day one when we met with Max to explore solar panel options to the day our PV system was set up and ready, thanks to the super efficient team of Oliver, John, Aiden and Tony. Everyone involved in the process was punctual, hardworking, and professional. Any questions we had were answered by Max or Oliver to our satisfaction. We will not hesitate to recommend Square1 to friends and those who look for PV installers.

I've had the pleasure of using Square1 on several occasions now and would recommend them to any homeowner or business looking to make the leap into renewable energy. Square1 has been involved in several of my projects, big and small, from the installation of a single battery within an existing solar PV system to a complete new system with battery, EV charger, hot water diverter, and emergency backup power at my new home. I also used Square1 in my role in local government both to participate in a renewable energy seminar for villages in East Suffolk, as well as to deliver a contentious solar PV system on a village hall in Darsham to help the village deliver on its net zero targets. I can safely say that after several years of working together, Max and Oliver have become my friends who I know I can call on for anything solar-related. They're incredibly knowledgeable and ready to help with any questions I may have. They're great guys, very funny, and always solution-oriented. You really couldn't ask for more.

First class service from Square 1 Installation Ltd from the first contact in October 2023 to installation in June 2024. Yes, a long process due to me being a difficult customer and a number of obstacles on the way. Max never failed to answer every question I had professionally and promptly and even arranged a site visit to an existing customer. Our initial inquiry was for roof mounted panels on our East and West facing elevations, 10 each side. An issue with the West Elevation was tall trees opposite. Our site also required planning permission taking 8 weeks in total and completed just before Christmas. During the first part of 2024 my wife and I spent a lot of time studying the sun patterns when visible and the shading caused by the trees on our West elevation roof. Not wanting to keep bothering Max with endless questions, I decided to search for my own solar design software and luckily found Opensolar, an online free package, sponsored by equipment suppliers. After days of learning how to use the software and trying out many solar panel configurations, I decided to pursue a South facing ground mounted solar array. This direction was then all discussed with Max who made another site visit and prepared a new quotation. This time, as the system was not mounted directly on the house, full planning permission was required taking another 8 weeks. Finally in May we were ready to proceed, Max handed over to Oliver and his excellent team who undertook the complete installation, 21 panels, inverter, battery and Solar iboost. Since completing the installation both Max and Oliver have continued to support us answering questions whenever required and the system is working perfectly. We would highly recommend Square 1 as an excellent company to work with. Many thanks to the whole Square 1 team.

Well! What can I say! Max and Oli are the dream team! From coming out to give us a quote to installation was seamless. Max answered messages of which there were a fair few, all work was completed in 3 days. No dodgy double glazing type sales pitch, the price was reasonable and literally nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend for anyone in East Anglia. I checked them out thoroughly, they passed all our tests and they came up trumps. Can highly recommend @Square1 Installations Ltd.

Fantastic service from Square1 Installations from start to finish! Max was so helpful modelling up and pricing various different solar configurations for me and happy to answer all the questions I had. The install was arranged promptly after I accepted the quote, and they even carried out some roof repairs I needed doing whilst the scaffolding was up. The installation team were great, and the install itself was really neatly done. All certification was provided very quickly after completion. It genuinely felt like nothing was too much trouble and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Square1 Installations – massive thanks to Max, Oliver and the rest of the team!

I dealt with Max for the preliminaries and Ollie made sure installation and commissioning was carried out quickly and smoothly. I’ve dealt with many contractors in the past both personally and professionally, and it was a refreshing change to have these guys arrive when they said they would and carry out their work in a ‘hassle free way’. The initial advice I received was good and helpful, and the electrical installation was well arranged, neat and efficiently executed. We are now producing our own power and look forward to considerably reduced running cost ‘going forward’. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Square1 and wish the guys every success in the future.

Square 1 Installations Ltd said to me that the Scaffolding would be up on one day, all of the work would be carried out the next day and the 3rd day , commissioning would take place and the whole job would be completed, apart from the paperwork. I was sceptical but Max was 100% correct. All was finished, cleared away and left in full working order. I cannot praise them enough for a wonderful job. I recommend them to anybody who is seriously thinking about having Solar Panels installed. Terrific work at a vey reasonable price.
