Deceptive Marketing Practices SpoiledChild markets its products aggressively with “FREE TRIAL,” “TRY BEFORE YOU BUY,” and “$0 upfront” language, but the actual experience feels like a classic subscription‑trap scheme rather than a risk‑free trial. In my case, multiple ads and emails clearly promised that I would not be charged the full price unless I decided to keep the products after a 21‑day trial, yet a large preauthorization was placed on my card immediately through PayPal, pushing my bank account into overdraft. I attempted to cancel within minutes of placing the order using all available channels, but SpoiledChild refused, claiming their “warehouse is too fast” to stop the order. Later, their own carrier Asendia confirmed in writing that they had only received the electronic shipping file and had NOT yet received the physical parcel, which contradicts SpoiledChild’s excuse and shows they chose not to honor a prompt cancellation. Their terms and communications admit they place full preauthorizations and charge non‑refundable shipping even on “trials,” but this is buried in fine print and completely at odds with the “free / $0 upfront / try before you buy” message highlighted in their marketing and order flow. Looking at their BBB profile and other review sites, my experience matches a broader pattern: hundreds of complaints about misleading free‑trial offers, unauthorized or unexpected charges, difficulty cancelling, and customer service that offers gift cards instead of real refunds. In my opinion, SpoiledChild operates as a high‑risk merchant relying on confusing sign‑up flows, aggressive preauthorizations, and shifting the burden onto customers to chase carriers, return labels, and bank disputes just to avoid paying for something they were told was “free.” Until this business model changes, I would strongly recommend avoiding SpoiledChild and looking for alternatives with clear pricing, straightforward trials, and responsive customer support.

Spoiled Child is like a bratty child Ordered a couple of items 1 -21-2025 , the order sat for 10 days waiting for USPS to pick it up , then it made it to Gastonia , North Carolina on 2 -1-2025 , as of 2-17-2025 it is still in the same place. Now as of 2-5-2025 they sent another order out. The order is still sitting at their warehouse for 12 days. I had a SpoiledChild giftcard for 100 and only paid $1.01 out of pocket. They just refunded my giftcard and $1.01. I had done a product test for 6 weeks for that gift card and the acne product and sensitive skin face wash caused the few breakouts to multiply , looked like I had the measles. I honestly don't think the company is actually in the the US , and email communications seem like they don't speak English very well. I spent too much time trying to track down my 2 mysterious packages. Good luck , but you have been warned.

The website was glitchy and frustrating. I tried checking out twice and it wouldn't work no matter what card I put in. I finally had to leave the site and redo everything causing me to lost my free gift in the cart was severely disappointed. This was my first time trying the brand and placing and order .

I can't really say with not a lot of experience w/this company. I don't however like the fact that I couldn't check out without a bunch of extra products being pushed at me. I do hope the product is extraordinary though.

Over charged for items. They withdrew double the price. Not a happy customer 👎 over charge and falls advertising. They give you a run around. I can't even find my tracking number and has not been notified if it was shipped yet or not. I don't recommend at all.

Promos are a joke They say the are sending you a lip balm and a full size product, not a sample. We'll its not product at all. It's a shot glass. When they first started years ago, they used to actually send you a free product to try, not to mention they are still sending the exact same color lip stick as 5 years ago. Try switching it up, your long term customers don't want to get the same thing over and over again! Extremely disappointed i came back because of the promo, that isn't really one at all.

Not wanting to be set up for auto order and charge to my credit card. I tried to go and cancel auto all together. I just want to try it first. Then I can decide if I want to subscribe. There seems to be no way to cancel. I do not want to be made to commit to something I haven't tried.
