Only thing I could possibly complain about is how far they’re booked out they are for cleanings. It’s no surprise though given the high quality of service .
Every dentist I've had here has been exceptionally kind. I called because my tooth was occasionally hurting, but wasn't during my appointment. I felt a little embarrassed but the dentist made me feel comfortable and turns out I had a small crack in my tooth which we were able to address. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend South Coast Family Dentistry!
I cannot thank this dentist office enough. I was visiting from out of state and woke up on the morning of my wedding with my front tooth broken off while brushing. Panic doesn’t begin to describe it.We called, and they got me in immediately. Every single person in the office was kind, calming, and genuinely invested in helping me feel okay. They worked so hard to repair my tooth beautifully so I could smile with confidence at my wedding that evening.Their compassion, skill, and urgency were beyond anything I could have hoped for. I will forever be grateful for what they did for me on one of the most important days of my life.
Absolutely 5 stars all the way around. The people are all wonderful and the dental work has far exceeded my expectations. They are all knowledgeable, kind and clearly enjoy Improving the patient’s life. They are my forever Dentist as far as I’m concerned.
Summary:
So first of all: I was blown away. This dentistry is like from Star trek or some alternate universe, simply Wow. They leverage the latest technology and the vibes in this dentistry are friendly, fresh, and everyone there seems self motivated and team oriented. Even when it is close to 7pm in the day. They went above and beyond.
The longer story:
Just in the last minute before the 4th of July holiday weekend my crown broke off and it visibly had a crack too. They were the only ones still open, they have extra long hours - and they took me in, last minute. And they were able to help. Everyone there was relaxed, friendly, some humor, nice people. Dr. Renfrow explained everything in detail, this was great, I am curious and want to know. Also they squeezed me in to get a new crown made just the next week, again late hours.
And that was the Star Trek experience. No putty and bites and waiting a few weeks. Instead they have a wireless device which they put into your mouth, it flashes, takes seemingly hundreds of pictures and one hour later they have the crown ready for you. A wonderful Zirconia crown.
Dr. Renfrow again explained interesting details, collaborative vibes in the room with the team, everyone genuinely laughing, friendly, chill and very knowledgeable.
The crown fits perfectly, no adjustments or any grinding it down needed.
During the process the staff and doctors there were super friendly, despite the late hours in the day, explained everything and were utter fun to communicate with.
And the cream on top. The initial estimate for the cost was lowered twice thanks to the attentive and very nice ladies in the office.
I just had a crown put in and I have about five crowns in my mouth and this was the most seamless painless crown I’ve ever had put in. They are very good at what they do.

Dr. Huff is very kind, easy to work with, he does excellent work, is fair and will tell you what is most critical for budgeting purposes. I have had alot of work done with him and he has always made me happy. Even if there is an adjustment he is there to make it perfect! It can be quite expensive to invest in ones teeth especially as you age and have implant and crown issues. I am happy to reccomend him and his staff for all your dental needs. I do use the in house dental plan as it does make financial savings easy.
All of the staff and doctors are some of the kindest most professional people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I feel well cared for and in good hands.
