The people who removed my panels were very professional and courteous. Fantastic would come to mind. Replacement was quick after the roofers left. Would highly recommend them for your job.

Had CIR install solar panels 10 years ago in 2016. They were very professional, did a wonderful job. I thought a checkup was in order because the web site SolarEdge was not showing my panels anymore and the inverter display stopped showing activity. It took a over a month to get a response from CIR then months to get an appt., then they want payment up front ( over $500). Not a way to run a business. I'll find some else to check my system.
Terrible!! Do not use!! Their technician was outrageously rude when I politely asked him to move his vehicle out of my parking spot. Started screaming and cursing at me. Doesnt seem like a company anyone should have anything to do with.

The solar by CIr team installed our system with great care and respect for our property . Safety was paramount at every step. I was informed every step of the way to insure that the system was incorporated into our home and every detail was made to ensure that the system components didn’t looked gaudy or obtrusive. Communication was key with CIR, from the first meeting and every aspect along the way. I was kept informed of all the permitting and legal aspects, equipment used, upgrades, installation window and possible delays. The system is up and running for almost two weeks and I’m producing power to cover my needs even on the most overcast days, full sun and blue skies and I’m producing an excess to carry me through the winter months. CIR is a premier company with a great team from start to finish. It was a pleasure to have them design , install and monitor my system for the future, thank you all for a great experience .

Solar by CIR put in our rooftop solar system in summer 2025. They were very helpful and did a great job. We got quotes from a few contractors, but I had a lot of questions and CIR was the best about actually answering my questions vs. just trying to sell me something. I'm really happy with my experience with Solar by CIR from start to finish. Kevin the salesman provided a lot of useful information and answered several follow-up questions I had. The conversation was always very casual and never pushy or "sales-y".
After I agreed to move forward, the office crew did a good job of keeping me updated on the status of my job. I was always aware of the timeline whether it had to do with inspections, permitting, or the actual install timeframe.
The install was a two-day process and the crew did good work while explaining things to me along the way. The asked for my feedback about how and where I wanted the lines and electrical boxes to be placed, which I really appreciated. At the end of the job, I heard Nate checking with everybody that everything was cleaned up really well.
I enjoy checking my app and seeing the power I'm generating. Thanks CIR for doing a great job!

Making the decision to install solar was a difficult one, the expense, buffalo weather, etc... I could not be happier with the professionalism and attention to detail exhibited by Solar by CIR. From the onset to completion, the employees were professional and paid attention to details. Edit: I'd like to share an update. After this review went up, CIR did reach out to me to negotiate the cost of trenching in exchange for removing this review.
I went ahead with accepting a proposal with CIR because they seemed to be well reviewed and well priced and they ensured me that their experience in the electrical contracting business would serve well for the solar project. A service upgrade to 200 amps was one of major concerns and they convinced me they could do it and for better pricing than some competing quotes could. Plus, we're from Grand Island, a couple of streets away so we're basically "neighbors." My family signed in early March '25, with an expected install date of late May. Sounds good so far.
I then would periodically check in with the sales rep, Kevin, who assured me that everything was on track. Asked me to get financing ready, everything seemed smooth.
A week before the expected install, I check in. The permit hasn't even been filed yet. Almost 3 months and seemingly my project is on the back burner, not a priority. But I understand delays happen so I went along with it, confirmed it would be a few more weeks to get it installed. I can be patient.
Then, June 10, about 100 days since we've signed, Kevin calls me. To complete the 200 amp upgrade, they will need to dig. To dig and for equipment, they will need to add 5-6k (couldn't even give me the courtesy for an exact figure), to be added on to the project. Now, I understand things come up but 3 months later? From a company banking on "we have so much electrical contracting experience" that's a big thing to miss in the initial visits.
Alright, I've done a lot of work myself getting this going. Maybe we can come to some agreement. What I was offered was a larger 100 amp panel and $500 off. The initial project has $3000 added for the upgrade. Okay. Maybe we can come to some compromise on the new costs. Offer to pay for even half and I can look into coming up with the other half. Nope, not an option. Jordan, the project planner apparently, won't budge. "Jordan was unwilling to budge on this due to how busy we are with the Federal tax credit potentially ending" is what Kevin told me. Seemingly, my project was a low priority for you. You've got other clients. Needless to say, we canceled the contract.
All those things about being neighbors and being experienced never panned out for me. It's really a shame too that I bought into it.
