I am in the process of buying my first home. I spoke to Tyler (Senior Loan Officer). He has been the most helpful individual I have spoke to in comparison to the other companies I have spoke to. I felt like there is genuine human interaction and connection and doesn't treat his people like another number. He helped me step in the correct direction based off my financial situation. Once I get all that squared away, I'm definitely giving him a call back. He gave me amazing advice on how to move along my process quickly as a single mother living with family right now. Worst experience that I have ever had with this company and it's misleading practices from John Mcallister. My wife and I submitted an application and we were contacted by John stating that we were pre approved for loan we were told by John that we could start house hunting which we did for 2 weeks mind you we sent him all required paperwork job verification banks statements w2 etc... Every time we wanted to put an offer John would say there's a problem with the underwriters etc .. The real problem was that our credit was not as strong as it should be but instead of John telling us that he kept going in circles and telling us that we were ok it was only when we contacted another company we were told that we needed to work on our credit which is totally understandable at this point we knew John was just playing games or we really don't know what his issue was we stop communicating with him and then 2 weeks later he call us with the same non sense which we just took him as a joke at this point He has continued to contact us with the same lying information I do not understand what his goal is but this very unprofessional and dishonest practice not only did he lie to me but I did refer my sister to him and her situation is a lot better meaning her credit is good she went thru the process of appraisal with John pay for title or deed etc... Only for John to tell her that she was denied by the underwriters after she has spent money to get the appraisal all paperwork etc .. she lost money doing all these things which no one will refund her please be very careful with this company as they have lied they are very shady I have an update my sister was approved for the same house that John McAlister underwriters denied

Very transparent. The only way a loan doesnt go through is if the buyer is not able to provide the required documents. They will work to make it work but the transparency will need to be there on the buyers side. Please dont listen to anything negative they are in the business to approve loans!

"Absolutely appalling experience! They made grand promises, assuring me I qualified for a loan, only to renege on their commitments in the end. After paying all the required fees, I was shockingly told 'we can't help you.' The lack of transparency and consistency is staggering. They strung me along, collecting payments, only to ultimately deny me the loan. Unbelievably frustrating and disappointing. Avoid them at all costs!"

We were very transparent with you that employment transfers were highly risky and not something we recommend. You urged to move forward, nonetheless. When your transfer was cancelled mid-process, there unfortunately was nothing we could do.

John is the Bomb and needs a raise, has worked hard and still is trying to help me find a dream home. 4 mnths later and I am left hanging. I am lowering it to 3 stars just bc i know John was trying his best.

Eighty-four days later, yes, 84 days the loan fell through. My elderly parents moved out and into two other living arrangements - a huge adjustment for them. My family felt as though they had been strung along to get to the quarter and/or the beginning of the next month. While Jonathan Harnish and Martin McInnis were called upon to help with the lax in the Society, the damage of untimely follow-through had been done.

Don’t trust this company My experience was horrible. Collecting info on two different portals, asking for info multiple times, I could handle it all up until they told me I was approved and I got the appraisal and they wanted some changes to finalize so I spent more $$ to get the changes completed and once I was ready for final inspection after spending a couple thousand bucks they said I was not approved for that type of loan and would explore other options. all communication stopped after that, couldn’t even get my appraisal completed. I would steer clear of this company they can’t even provide the bear minimum of customer service which is communication. I worked with John and Gavin.
