I had used So Cal Chimney inspection 10 years ago. But recently, we just remodeled our house and had a many decades old chimney. Tony came and inspected the chimney and told us exactly what needs to be done. He gave his expert opinion, and we planned on moving forward with repair and see what needs to be done. His quote not only was better than other contractors, but also included more work. At the end, he did what was needed for us, and on top of that, he gave us a refund of what was not needed to be done in our original agreement. Work was completed in a reasonable time frame. Will contact them again when we are ready to install the ethanol fireplace.

Chimney Services is fantastic. A few years ago, they did a major retrofit of our wood burning fireplace including the chimney. Tony was so honest and so approachable, always available to answer questions. The crew was also great. We were so impressed we hired them immediately after to do the “face” of the fireplace, including tilework and a new mantel which they sourced for us from Northern California. I had a few minor fireplace issues come up this year and Tony was here to help us figure it out promptly. We are so glad we found this company for our chimney/fireplace needs!

They did a really nice job, delivering to me a fully refurbished, clean, chimney braced to the roof. I'm looking forward to using my chimney this winter. I highly recommend SoCal Chimney. Tony was amazing to work with. Such care, diligence and integrity. He spent as much time as was needed to explain and handle any questions or considerations, educating me on the way so that I understood what my options were in terms of upgrading my fireplaces to be more safe and to code. Anthony Hopkins, his wife Crystal, and the crew they sent to inspect, clean and service our fireplace/chimney were all professional --thorough to the last follow-up. Tony and Crystal even visited in person when we experienced difficulty in lighting logs, a simple task we failed to do properly only by not following directions. They were extremely kind and understanding of two elderly people who hadn't used the fireplace for some 20 years. We have already recommended this company to others and will gladly do so in the future.

SoCal Chimney was highly recommended by the chimney inspector we hired when we bought our current house. They did not disappoint. Their estimate was in the range we were hoping to see. Tony and Crystal are the best. They consistently go above and beyond with their service and work. Tony has come out to our place a couple of times and always listens to what I tell him, then takes his time to really inspect and see what's going on. Work is done in a timely fashion and is done well. It's hard to find people who work hard, are honest, caring and reasonably priced. SoCal Chimney delivers.

SoCal Chimney was a referral from our real estate agent. With these last heavy rains, we heard, one drip turn into MANY drips in our fireplace. We had no idea what we were going to encounter. From one phone call message and an email, we had an appointment setup and scheduled. 2 visits later, our chimney was fixed. There is now an outside cap, the entire chimney was cleaned out and repaired. The team is professional, courteous and so very efficient. If you are looking for a company to come to your home and repair your chimney, SoCal Chimney is the company for you! And if you have pup, that is an added incentive, ha :) They are the BEST!

I have used them twice now; once for repair and once many years later for inspection. I have a 1936 chimney. They are straightforward, honest, and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. (No comparison on their prices, so no comment there.)
