Since I was in the middle of a kitchen renovation, I needed the job done quickly, and the team delivered—working efficiently while maintaining excellent quality. We were aware that we could have major problems in our Victorian walls with rot of some description. Simon and his team came out the same day we discovered the problem (which luckily was “only” wet rot); sprayed the affected area and we are now sorted. Hello, We had some wet rot which SMPS came out and inspected and then diverted a two man team to come and deal with it within the day as we had plasterers on site. Whilst they were onsite they also checked out some old plaster work which looked as though there may be a problem but thankfully there wasn’t. Simon was really efficient and responsive and a great job done. No brainer to use SMPS if you have such a problem.

Number was sent by a family member said try this company called the number spoke to someone was told a link will be sent with watsapp link and to send a over pictures and details of the property. Didn't hear anyhring back so called again same day was sent a message that was in meeting and sent me watsapp link which I sent details over on the 22nd of February still not heard anything back. Don't think I will hear anything back message not even read.

Really knowledgable and honest guy. We had mould appear in our bungalow we’d just bought which had been empty for some time beforehand. Thankfully it was just condensation but we’d had another damp specialist out who had recommended some measures which would’ve cost us quite a bit of money, but SMPS were really honest and said we didn’t need to spend money on any mould products, just needed to sort better ventilation with the windows and roof. Having no experience with any damp or mould, he could’ve easily sold us anything but we really appreciated the honesty which is really rare nowadays. We wouldn’t hesitate to call again in the future if we had any issues.

Simon and the team have been brilliant. Anything we discovered in the process of eradicating dry rot was not a problem. Very easy to communicate with and was extremely understanding supporting the works required. Our project grew arms and legs but that happens with Dry Rot. 100% recommend SMPS Building and Preservation. Pricing was very fair and reasonable. Fingers crossed we will not need any further works in our church but if we do SMPS will be our first call. Cheers

Simon and his team have worked on our house for a while now to remedy the awful level of dry rot and woodworm and the knock on effects structurally. Really put our minds at ease, provided a comprehensive report with clear descriptions of what needed doing, the supporting photos to show what had been done. Simon recommended a roofer and plasterer to get our house back to normal which was invaluable and they worked together to discuss solutions. They cleared all the debris away at the end of the day and were really sympathetic to our situation. All the original features of the property were worked around and saved and they protected the stained glass window. Thanks so much!

We contacted SMPS to get a survey for dampness on two of our walls that had been highlighted on a home report. Simon came out and quickly identified the problem, and we got the work done that weekend. Good company to work with, no fuss, no mess and very efficient. I highly recommend.

I contacted SMPS via website on Tuesday evening for a quote to treat a woodworm infestation that my home report had thrown up. Simon called me first thing even though he was standing at the airport and by Friday the work was completed. He explained everything in laymans terms, NO charge for the survey report, (unlike other companies) and very competitive price. Fantastic customer service, very friendly and 101% recommend Simon and his team.
