Drs need to be more engaging with there patients. We pay for laughing gas and it doesn’t even work they keep it down so low also they don’t use topical numbing cream before giving shots very barbaric and painful!! The workers are more interested in talking with each other then checking on the patients is it a prejudice to medi-cal card holder patients???? Mailbox is always full so you can’t leave a message! It’s to bad medi cal card holders don’t have a choice to go somewhere else because there are very few dr who take mwdi cal for dental work!
Best place to your dental care done , lydie does an amazing job ! Definitely recommending !

I get that you are busy. And medi cal patients are less profitable.
Rescheduled app. I get it. 10 am app where I'm not actually seen and worked on till 1:30 pm I also get. Except the three people in for extraction that showed up after me, in one case an hour, that were paying customers instead of medi cal. Same surgeon. I kinda don't like that. I show up at the appropriate time and watch a late person (10 am for me, who knows when for them Except if they were 9:30 and showed up at 10:30 why should I wait)
The staff at the desk is spot on, 5 for you all!
The assistant (s) should find a better place to talk about payroll then the Medi cal non room. When I'm behind you, unable to see and stressed your convesation is not theraputic.
The procedure:
Awful. I was referred to an oral surgeon because this was a difficult extraction. To me, a civilized human and also based on previous extractions, this means sedation.
Nope.
They offered nitrous, don't bother or save your money. Useless. And they don't really add gas. I know because when shit went south they actually turned on the gas, I could feel and smell it.
The doctor:
Gonna give him a "refuse to review" I'm in pain with no after pain meds other then motrin. And vodka. I should not have to self medcate or use the "alternat pharmacy"This was a three to five vicodine procedure . I'm not a child or a drug addict.im 63 years old and can make good medical decisions for myself. Of course no one listened to me.
But he tried to have bedside manner. When he walked off leaving the chunkes of my tooth in my mouth to pick out later when I got home instead of giving me my piece of body for religious reasons and dragged off the assistant that I asked to save my body part for proper disposal I didn't put to large a curse on him. I just asked for him to experience my pain himself.
4 out of 5 because I had no choice. 2 out of 5 for civilization.

I really liked my old dentist, but I had to pick a new dentist because my old one was not on my new insurance plan. I was nervous but I was pleasantly surprised on the kindness and level of care I have received at the Napa office. A very caring group.

Called to set up an appt, was put on hold for 15 mins and didn’t hear back. Called back twice only to have an AI assistant presumably set the appt for today at 11am but turns out it didnt!? Turns out their A.I. system can’t actually do shit when it comes to making appts.
At any rate, don’t waste your time, let alone money on this place.

I set an appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction, each time it was AI, telling me that someone would call me to confirm, never got a call for that confirmation, and before then I gave them my insurance and I never got a call back to set an actual appointment

Referred here by Medi-cal (Denti-cal) as a good place to take my children. Called for an appt and and was told they don't see children under 13 in Napa only in Concord or Martinez. Frustrating that they make it seem like a place for children of low income folks to get dental care, when in reality you have to travel at least 45mins out of town.

Called to reschedule my appointment, as I was only able to speak to an AI that was extremely unhelpful and was unable to give me a timeframe for when someone would get back to me. Given that you provide a form of health care, I would expect an option to speak to an actual person, even if I have to wait on hold for someone to be available. Being completely unable to reach anyone at an office that provides a form of healthcare is completely unacceptable. What if a patient had an issue or was experiencing dental pain? You clearly only care about the profit and nothing else.
Update: Called three separate times to reschedule the appointment and received zero call back or information on how to reach an actual person.
I had an appt for Oral surgery today. They were closed Friday so I couldn't confirm. They were supposed to mail me directions, which never arrived! Their AI phone system is faulty. You all have lost my business. I will also turn you in to the review board. Have a bad day, because you ruined mine!!!!!
