Unfortunately, our experience with Digital Five has been extremely disappointing. We previously used Smart Numbers (before they 'rebranded') without any issues, however after moving to the current setup we suddenly became unable to make outbound calls on our business line. Nothing had changed on our side, yet the service stopped working. The problem was reported immediately, and despite providing all the requested information, including recordings of attempted calls, the issue remained unresolved for well over two weeks. During this time we were still unable to make external calls, which caused significant disruption to our business. As a business that relies on reliable communication, this level of service is simply unacceptable. We expected a much quicker investigation and clearer support to resolve the issue. Sadly, this experience has had a direct impact on our ability to communicate with clients. We were with smart numbers for a year and now will be seeking an alternative provider. So disappointed with the help.

Diabolical customer service I have only been a customer of theres for 19 years. All I wanted was a copy of my December invoice and the Pin so I could in the future acess the customer portal. 6 Phones calls, 2 emails and to date they have never called me back. The 'Reception' are blatant liars. I have only wasted an hours of my life. I would never recommend this company. I am considering moving to another company for my freephone line. If this is how you treat loyal customers who to date always pay on time.

am very disappointed with the service provided by this company. This is not the first time I have raised concerns. I make monthly SEO payments of at least £300, yet I receive no meaningful updates or reporting on what work is being carried out. From my perspective, I am paying for a service without seeing results or clear evidence of progress. Communication is a major issue. When I ask even a small question or request a minor update, it can take a month or more to receive any response. However, if a payment is missed, I am contacted immediately and chased without delay. This imbalance speaks volumes about where priorities lie. During the first couple of months, the level of care and attention was noticeably better. Since then, the service has declined significantly. Whether this is due to staff shortages or workload is irrelevant — as a paying customer, I expect consistent communication, transparency, and a professional level of service. I entered into a contract in good faith and expect to be treated fairly and receive the service I am paying for. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

I hope someone from ur management see that review I been a customer of yours for many years but not sure if it’s the way forward Called today to speak to customer service desk just to find out they only answer the phone but can’t help ( be cheaper to implement AI) There is no staff to speak to No one can deal with your request Been promised to get respond between mon and Friday as there is no staff today The way you trade now is affecting my business and what is the point of ur services if u can’t even employ or make sure that someone is there to help your customers???

Signed up for a number to divert to an app. Didn't work for most of the time I had it? After several calls to tech team I was informed it doesn't work great on Apple devices? Shame I wasn't told this when taking the contract eh? Lucky escape as only a rolling contract

Been with smart numbers for a few years now, they offer a great comms service, which allows me to answer calls away from the office, & when living abroad. The after sales service is fantastic, Chloe B always on hand to assist with everything. 10/10, wouldn’t use anyone else. James, Affordable appliances in Bristol.
