I have been a client of theirs for years. They have made a tremendously positive impact on my small business. I like to think that I'm pretty pleasant in my communication, but I'm real particular as to how I want my website to look. They were very patient through the design process and really nailed it with the final product. They have always been super responsive whenever any issues have arisen.
This is a terrible company that has no idea what they are doing. After paying them almost $2k for just a basic website, 9 months of waiting, and a court order, this is what they provided me as "work done to the best of their ability". Just a scam. I wouldn't bother.

Hi McKensi, Salt Creative successfully completed all services for you as determined by the court. Services included a mobile-optimized, custom designed, professional website. The Service Agreement clearly outlined your role in the project to include: providing specific writing relating to your business services, personal background information, and other needed content to provide your clients. After providing one document of notes and images, you unfortunately became highly unprofessional not responding to emails, phone calls, and failed to cooperate. As a result, Salt Creative writers wrote up all of the personal content relating to your business, including specific services you offer. You provided no clarifications. Additionally, you requested a custom client portal be developed to manage the financial records and tax documents of your clients. Salt Creative designed a portal to use for storing basic client information, but communicated thoroughly at the beginning of the project, that some documents would require higher security based upon their nature (tax returns, w2's, etc.). It was recommended a CRM be integrated into the website for storing secure documents. After months of work and building a very professional website, you requested a full refund (all services complete). In court mediation, Salt Creative offered to pay for your website hosting for one year and support you in managing the new website. In this conversation, with the court mediator, you claimed another company had completed a website for you exactly how you requested, including a custom portal, refusing the offer. Then, in court, you testified to the judge that another company had not build a website for you, requesting the contents of Salt Creative's website be provided. Your story changed many times. Your unprofessionalism and dishonesty were a problem. To conclude, after the judge ruled against you, verifying Salt Creative had successfully provided services, closed the case. You continued to push the issue, not following the instructions of the court after the judge ruling. Only until Salt Creative reached out to the court requesting you follow the court ruling and cease all communication with Salt Creative, did you stop. This is not a way to manage business or interact with other businesses. We hope you learn from this experience. Professional contracts require follow through by both parties, professional behavior and communication.
