I contacted SLP in 2023 with a lemon law case that they told me was strong regarding my 2018 Dodge pickup . I gave them all the materials they requested. They told me they were suing Dodge Corp. for 27k plus damages. Last week the defendant offered me 1,000 dollars to settle the case. I said no. The case went in from if the judge and the defendant filed a motion for non suit ... that motion was granted because SLP's attorneys did not show up to represent me and did not contest the defendants motion for non suit. After almost 3 years and numerous hours chasing down paperwork and proof as requested by SLP I got nothing and am out 6,000 dollars for repairs to that truck.

I am trying to get in touch with them, they sent a letter supposedly with my signature, which I never signed and now my transmission went out and they will not fix it because they think I am suing them, now I am without a car and I have called the phone number and still on hold after 2 hours, very unprofessional, I would not recommend them, this is not how you do business, especially when I did not hire them.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!! If I can give them 0 stars I would !! By far the worst experience. It’s been 4 years & I’m still waiting for them to provide me a surrender date! This place is a huge mess & everyone working here is so unprofessional. You can never get a hold of anyone working on your case & when you do they all seem clueless as if they have no idea what’s going on with your case. They will never call you to update you on your case unless you’re consistently calling . Listen to all the bad reviews this place has cause they’re true !!!

I've been trying to get an answer from this law firm for weeks and can't get someone to answer my questions I have. I've been reaching out everyday for a call back and nothing!! I just got a call back. I asked to speak with one of the many attorneys they apparently have and I've been on hold now for over an hour. I make extra money delivering groceries for Walmart. Without a car for almost a month now and with a signed offer in place for over 3 months now I'm broke!! Don't use this place. They are never available to speak to you!! Buy the way I'm still holding.

SLP handed my case with my GMC Yukon XL. Communication was horrible. When I had questions, crickets. I also felt super pressured to accept offer from GMC. I asked numerous times for an actual lawyer to call me, but never happened. In the past 72-hours, I have sent 6 emails and called several times. NO RESPONSE. I just want this to be over with so I don't have to deal with them.

Poor Communication and Serious Concerns With Case Handling I hired Strategic Legal Practices for a California lemon law case involving my Audi e-tron GT, and my experience has been very frustrating. My concerns include inaccurate filings, missed deadlines, delayed communication (with myself and opposing counsel), unclear settlement guidance, and a lack of clear direction regarding upcoming hearings and next steps. I raised concerns early that the complaint filed in my case appeared to include facts that did not match the actual issues with my vehicle. I also repeatedly followed up regarding settlement questions, mileage calculations, reimbursement issues, and court dates. The defense attorneys even requested court sanctions against SLP. What makes this more frustrating is that SLP’s own website advises consumers to choose a lemon law attorney who is a good communicator, keeps clients informed, listens to concerns, and answers questions promptly. That was not my experience. To make this even worse 3 of the attorneys and partner that worked on my case left the law firm. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the State Bar of California regarding my concerns with the handling of my case. I would not use this firm again and would not recommend them based on my experience. Read the reviews online and do a good search for the company and the Managing Partner and Founder of the law firm Payam Shahian.

My case was almost 2 yrs long with Strategic legal vs Ford Dealer. starting mid to late 2024 to just 3 weeks ago and they sent me an email what they called a drop letter. Yes, that's correct a 2-year Lemon car and stress of the time and money we put into with this lemon of a car. they dropped the case and sent another letter how to appeal the case that was due less then 3 weeks from there drop letter. I feel very scammed. The worst kind. Get this in mid-December 2025 we had a mediation with the Ford company's lawyer. according to strategic we did well, and then early January 2026 the Ford Company offer a settlement that was pretty fair and would have paid our car loan off and all the attorney fees. Strategic legal lawyers advised me strongly to reject this offer from 2 strategic legal staff members and emails and a Docusign which is a legal form to reject there offer. Some of the phone calls and a formal email stated that my case was stronger than what Ford was offering and we at Strategic legal strongly advised me to reject the offer. so, I did on my attorneys' advice. Did not here or receive an email from Strategic legal from that date on. On a bad feeling I had in April 2026, I had contacted Strategic and it took 2 calls and nearly 4 days to return my calls. Interesting during my active case with them it was always within a day or 2 to return my calls. On the day they finally responded I received the dropped case email. If I didn't call on my bad feeling something was not good, I would still be waiting today. I feel strongly that they have a backdoor deal with dealer's and these cases. or at least my case. so disappointed and will never recommend this law firm. I've tried two different attorneys since, that deal with lemon laws, and none would take my case due to time restrictions. I lost in 2 ways. so sad they are representing the pubic. I hope many of you read all their reviews before hiring Strategic legal.

As I was about to file my new Taxes for 2025 I get thrown another tax return by Ford Motor Company!! What the heck!?? I hired this firm to help me and it seems like I keep getting these new tax returns to be filed ! And at a whopping $20k!! Unbelievable! I was told I wouldn't have to pay for anything else as far as tax return from Ford but I guess Ford wants revenge but I sued them! Wow! This is how this Law firm treated my concerns and left me to deal with the rest and pay more than what the car cost in the first place.

They never called back. I can’t get a hold of him. I’m upset that I have to call the other Law Firm to see what’s going on. It’s been over a month now. I still don’t get no fall back. This is crazy. I never been through this way. No more.

While the case did eventually get resolved, the communication throughout the process was extremely poor. The biggest issue was trying to coordinate the vehicle surrender. When it came time to turn in my car, the dealership couldn’t get in touch with the legal team at all. Calls kept going unanswered, or they were stuck in a queue with no callback. This caused a delay of over two weeks, which was frustrating and completely avoidable. In the end, I had to work directly with the dealership to handle the surrender and then send the completed paperwork to the lawyers myself. Even the dealership made multiple attempts to contact them and had the same experience—no response. The outcome itself was fine, but the lack of communication, urgency , promised timeline and coordination made the process much more stressful than it needed to be. Better responsiveness and clearer guidance would have made a huge difference. 25 months from start to finish for my claim.
