I would avoid this. The prices may look appealing but the clinic is absolutely dreadful. For various reasons: 1) Forced reviews, constant badgering after first appointment to leave a review. I am not willing to do this as the more I went into my sessions the worse I got treated. The clinic cancelled appointments several reschedules. However when we do it we have to give notice or pay up. I had a session cancelled less than 24 hours. I turned up to a session only to find a different therapist. I had a therapist nearly burn me as she was disinterested and not experienced. The company treated their therapists so badly that that's what I use to hear from my therapists all the time. (I had 3 different ones all complained to me about pressure from management). I heard how management forced reviews. Everything had to be positive. 2) My treatment wasn't to the standard it should be. They spun me line about more sessions of course and that it's my hormones and the therapist put all positive things in my records. This was a lie and the pressure therapists receive means they will put anything positive to show their worth. I raised my concerns early on through follow up telephone calls. 3) I was told these are the processes for recording notes and I was cornered by management that I'm lying despite therapists leaving continuously mid way during my treatments. 4) Notes are forged to look positive by the therapist as immense pressure on them to get reviews 5) Followed up with several telephone calls early on in my treatment, supposedly recorded but no one can find it in my notes and management didn't answer to the recorded phone calls (if you call them up that's the first thing the machine says before being connected) 6) Management will lie and say they've got no record of me or don't recollect any phone calls and what the therapists have put in the notes is true, and apparently it's my hormones. Of course these are lies. Therapists are so trapped by having positive reviews they write any old positive comments even if it's untrue and even though I followed up via calls to management where I was reassured it was being recorded in my notes. Now I'm questioning everything I am getting alot of hostility from management. 7) please do contact me personally and happy to provide evidence as I kept a record of everything including a conversation with a therapist where they are slagging off the management team because of the immense pressure they are under and having to write good reviews. AVOID THIS CLINIC. I have nothing to gain from writing this review. I hope it helps others so they don't waste money. From a safety perspective the management team are editing notes and pressuring therapists that they keep leaving due to the bullying. Heard this first hand from therapists. And most of all save your money towards a clinic that looks after their staff let alone the clients as the management team are damaging their own reputation. The review below has been responded to saying that building rapport with a, therapist is key. That's hypocritical as I was forced to have 3 different therapists as they kept leaving. No rapport and my treatment areas are being missed because of this but of course management will not take responsibility and tell me this is in the notes even though I followed it up with what they promised as a recorded phone call. For those starting their journey I would wait or leave before writing reviews so you have more than one appointment experience. It wasn't like this in the beginning. They began not caring about me after I had paid in full mid way. I note this has happened to others who have left a similar review. The great Portland street clinic has had a high turnover of therapists and all of them have been open with me to say they are not treated well. Not the customer service expected when you become the agony aunt. In response: I have never asked for a refund I asked for an investigation into my case after 3 changes to therapists. Clear lies about photos - it's an intimate area. I am not abusive therapist told me

I visited Skin Master recently for a patch test before beginning my full-body laser hair removal treatments. My experience has been outstanding. The staff (Yara) is courteous and highly professional, and She provided clear explanations about the procedure. The patch test was seamless, and I experienced no discomfort. Although I have yet to start my actual sessions, I am very confident in their services based on this initial visit. highly recommend them!

I'm now halfway through my treatment and have recently done a session with Sam who is super professional and meticulous, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, which is so important to make the treatment an enjoyable experience. Definitely my best session so far!

The laser hair procedure is really working for me. I have noticed the hair growth on my underarms are much slower since starting treatment with Yara. I would definitely recommend to try :)

Had a very nice first session with Jody from Skin Masters. The patch test went well so we were able to proceed with the first session there and then which was very convenient. Everything was explained well too which really helped to ease any last minute nerves I had. Overall really easy and good service to access would definitely recommend.

very disappointed and angry, due to unexpected medical reasons I had to cancel my appointment and I notified them in less than 48 hours, (but within the 48 hours), I did explain to them that the cancellation was unexpected and I could not notify them sooner I also sent them evidence with a letter from the hospital, but they continue to tell me that it is based on the contract and because the rule was violated by not notifying me within 48 hours, they considered my session lost, this is ridiculous. Also, the result of the hair is disappointing. I did 6 full body sessions and the conclusion is that the hairs have started to come out the same as I had before and the result is the same for my sister and nephew, (which I referred to them) Very high prices and not flexible, I wouldn't recommend it at all, very disappoint and i give one star
