BEWARE CAUTION: I brought my little niece here and her teeth were injured during a regular cleaning. Costed us several hundred and we've never had an experience quite like this before. The dentist was not empathetic and seemingly did not care.

We don't see children at the clinic. This is a fake review by someone who has too much spare time.

I can confirm we have seen NO person, male or female, that has had their teeth "injured" during a cleaning session.

The staff were friendly but I had a poor experience. I went for Invisalign, but was pushed to have six expensive fillings. This unfortunately didn't hold up and months later my teeth reverted. A different dentist later told me it wasn't quality work. I would definitely seek a second opinion.

Seasons greetings to Gulshan, Kajal and the team at Skin and Smiles. I've been attending Gulshan's clinic for nearly 20yrs now and wouldn't let anyone else look after my teeth. He is highly professional, with a person-centred approach, and an attention to detail that goes above and beyond expectations. I've had several treatments over the years to ensure the longevity of my teeth and each consultation is meticulous with clear explanations and rationale for each course of action. Recently Gulshan successfully straightened my daughters crowded teeth using techniques that excluded the need for extractions. If you are serious about maintaining the health and functionality of your teeth I would highly recommend a visit. David Thorpe (Watford)

I had a fantastic experience at Skin and Smile Dental Clinic. Every single member of staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and truly takes the time to care for you. Before each treatment, everything is explained clearly — what is going to happen, why the treatment is needed, and what to expect afterwards — which really helped me feel comfortable and confident throughout my visits. The payment process was also very smooth and stress-free. I absolutely enjoyed my time at the clinic and would definitely return if I needed any further treatment. I sincerely hope all the clinic staff are doing very well, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent dental care. I had braces for three years and was probably one of the more complex patients due to severe overcrowding. Despite this, I was always very well looked after, and thanks to their care and expertise, my braces were successfully removed after three years. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I 100% recommend this place!

The technology they use is top-notch, and the crown looks and feels just like a natural tooth. I’ve been seeing Gulshan for nearly 20 years, and even though I live 2.5 hours away, I still wouldn’t go anywhere else. People often ask why I travel so far, and the answer is simple: I trust him completely. He genuinely cares, takes pride in his work, and cares about my smile just as much as I do. He always makes me feel safe and looked after—even though I’m a bit of a wimp when it comes to dental visits! Gulshan and his team are kind, professional, and second to none. I became a customer in 2006 when I was local to Skin & Smiles. Gulshan and Kajal are absolutely lovely, and truly radiate how much they care about their customers. While I have since moved away from the area, I regard them so highly that I happily travel from Cambridgeshire to retain them for my dentistry. I cannot recommend them enough. They are in a different league of care to every dentists I ever had in the past!

My first visit to see Gulshan was over 14 years ago and people still ask me why I travel all the way to Watford to see my dentist when there are plenty in Nottinghamshire closer to home. I tell them that I have a dentist who takes great pride in his work and who cares for his patients and I won’t ever move! I used to have extreme anxiety about having dental treatment and although I still get some nerves (doesn’t everyone?) I’m much better these days because of the trust I’ve built up in Gulshan and his team over the years. The care and attention that I receive from them is second to none. Highly recommended!!

If I could give ten stars, I absolutely would! From my initial call with the receptionist to arrange an emergency appointment to my treatment with Dr Gulshan, the entire experience was seamless, transparent, and reassuring. I was suffering from a tooth ache and, as an extremely nervous patient, I was apprehensive about the treatment process. However, every option was thoroughly explained to me, from extraction to root canal treatment, ensuring I had a clear understanding of my choices. The team took the time to answer all my questions patiently, making sure I felt heard and never dismissed. Feeling at ease, I decided to proceed with the extraction. Dr Gulshan carefully explained each step of the process, including what would happen if the procedure could not be completed that day. This level of communication reassured me, as I always knew what to expect. After giving one painless injection then tooth was successfully extracted. Throughout the procedure, I felt well cared for and supported. I was provided with comprehensive aftercare instructions and clear guidance on what to expect during recovery. At reception, I had the option to register as a patient at the practise and sign up to their membership plan. What began as an appointment I was dreading turned into a positive experience, thanks to the professionalism, kindness, and expertise of the entire team. My sincere gratitude to Dr Gulshan the team for their outstanding care. Thank you!
