I am a terrible teeth grinder and jaw clencher. As a result, my front left incisor was getting thin and developed all these hairline cracks, and of course on Christmas Eve, I get the weirdest chipped tooth eating a chicken wing of all things (thanks, Santa 🙄). It looked like a hole in the middle of my tooth and the entire bottom part was all uneven and jagged. My husband suggested his dentist (Dr. Shalman) since mine wasn’t available for months and set up an appt for me via Olga (the lovely receptionist). It was super fast and easy. She’s very quick to respond and I saved a ton of time filling out forms online in advance.
The day of my appt, I walked into a really bright and inviting space, was greeted by such friendly staff (Olga is super sweet in person, too, and Michelle was so nice), and got started right away. I love not having to wait and wait and wait in sad, sterile doctor offices!
Dr. Shalman is chill and professional and efficient. He assessed my tooth, clearly explained all the steps, gave me up front co pay costs, matched the existing color, and the whole process was so fast and well done. My tooth feels solid and smooth and is as natural-looking as it’s going to get w a filling fix since a lot had chipped away. Thank you so much for fixing this! I would definitely come back when it’s time for veneers.
Dr. Shalman and his team are compassionate, nonjudgmental and extremely efficient — exactly what I was looking for when I needed some dental work done after neglecting to go to the dentist for a few years. Highly recommend for kind and friendly dentists/hygienists and very transparent and upfront billing and copay information too. I can’t believe I, a lifelong dentist hater, am saying this but after seeing Dr. Shalman, I’m not dreading my next dental appointment!
