Thank you Sam and your crew for the excellent attention and service you provided at pruning / reshaping my cherry blossom tree, covered with a spreading rose that made the work all the more difficult .Also for cutting back branches on a maple tree .Your crew obviously love what they do ,are friendly and respectful and left everything neat and tidy at the completion of their work . We have used SG Trees before and will do so again, such is our confidence in the company. If you want skill, knowledge, and care to be provided by your arborist service then I completely recommend SG Trees. It is not enough to know how to cut back these living and growing organisms - if the tree has value then having an arborist that understands shape and balance and how it will regenerate is critical. Sam and his team not only have the necessary skills but care deeply about the necessity of trees for a healthy environment. Communication is excellent. They also do a great cleanup job after the job is completed. And as a bonus we felt the quote received was reasonable and fair, for the amount of work required to be done.

A great team to work with. They did a great job on our Rimu tree and I appreciated the communication along the way. For me, the only blip was getting a "reminder" email (which I ignored because I had the booking in my calendar already) only to realise they had needed to reschedule my appointment.

Sam and the team removed a palm that had fallen over during bad weather. The palm was removed promptly and the site left very tidy. The team was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

SG Trees trimmed our large palm trees for us as they are too high for me to do. The service was excellent and the staff Paul & Max were very professional and a pleasure to deal with. They mulched all the off cuts, then cleaned up after the job was complete and checked it was to our satisfaction, so we highly recommend this company for any tree work. Neil & Sue Graham

Thought I would give SG a go after reading all the good feedback, however was a little dissapointed, trees chopped down were to have stump gel applied, however as they forgot the product Sam phoned & said one of his men would go back the following day to apply, I queried this as my understanding was stump gel should be applied immediately after tree cut down, however Sam advised it would be just as effective the next day. Nobody returned the following day, a Saturday, when I contacted Sam & asked when they would apply gel & that I had googled stump gel & everything I read said it should be applied as soon as tree cut down. Sam then said he would cut the tops off the stumps before applying gel & that he would also use a spray as an extra. Had his workers checked they had the necessary stump gel prior to doing the job this would have been avoided.
