This house has everything, from a soccer pitch to a dance party room. Drawing rooms were sophisticated and comfortable. All bedrooms were enviable. Very large family eat in kitchen.
The house absorbs people.

Perfect, brilliant stay in a gorgeous house with a lot of character
☺ The house was absolutely amazing and perfect for my little family to rejuvenate after 2-3 weeks of travelling Scotland - we used this as a base to rest before journeying home. The facilities were brilliant and the house was loved by us all.
☹ There was nothing to like although there was the promise of breakfast items in fridge but the items were not there when we checked in. This was not too much a problem though, because the hosts had left croissants and cereals, plus adult drinks for when the children had gone to bed! This house was amazing though and perfect for relaxing!

☺ Spacious, very clean and absolutely beautiful house. Super convenient location, very good communication with the host. Overall wonderful experience. Definitely one of the highlights of our Scotland trip. I would love to come back.

Grand old home with lots of character and tons of room
☺ Grand old home with tons of space. Beautiful back yard. My wife really loved this place. Great for families. Walking distance to lots of shops. We really loved this place- oh and the beds were comfortable too!

☺ Great location and facilities, large property which can accommodate large family group’s which is why we booked. We had a family wedding near by and 11 of us could stay together which was great!
☹ I really hope this was a one off but we struggled to get hot water due to a faulty boiler and ants were found in the kitchen and over food we had wrapped and set in the kitchen cupboard. Once these issues are sorted I am sure it would be a fabulous place to stay but this spoiled it for us sadly, we were so disappointed after reading good reviews.

Lovely family holiday in total luxury.
☺ Beautiful period house, loads of space, tastefully modernised i keeping with house. Although it was a large house, it still felt cosy and homely. Really short walk to shops and restaurants in Stirling and lovely strolls round Kings Park. Also the garden is gorgeous!
☹ Hot water wasn't on and heating seemed tied to come on at strange times.

Can‘t recommend it enough!
☺ Everything! It‘s a beautiful house and the garden is magnificent. It‘s 2 minutes away from the town center and 10 minutes from Kings Park. The house is equiped with everything you could think of and more. Makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
☹ The weather!! Wish there had been a touch more sunshine :-) But at least that gives us the excuse to go back in the summer!

If you ever wanted to feel like stepping back in time...
Wow! It's unbelievable you can actually stay in this palace and when you walk through the doors - you feel like you have walked right into a Jane Austen novel. Absolutely beautiful and commodious with owners who are incredibly kind and helpful - providing food, wine, and toiletries for anything you could imagine you need. We've never experienced such warm hospitality in such an immense and breathtaking space.
